-Hollywood Wrestling-
-Hollywood Heritage Tag Team Title Tournament- -First Round-
1) Demolition (Ax & Smash) (w/Mr. Fuji) defeated Kerry Von Erich & Sam Houston when Ax pinned Houston after a Demolition Beatdown in 10:08. -Fuji's team was able to isolate Houston and unleash a barrage of double teams. Von Erich attempted to break things up but was held back into the corner. As the ref's back was turned Ax and Smash used a flurry of kicks and punches to gain the three count.
2) The Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) beat The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Roberts) (w/Terry Gordy) by Disqualification in 9:03. -The Bees frustrated the Birds with quick double teams and superior agility. This forced the boys from Badstreet to take the match to the floor. Gordy attempted to distract the ref as Hayes delivered a Bulldog off the apron and through the ringside table. The ref caught the infraction and immediately called for the bell. Medical personnel came to check on Blair who was badly shaken up. He left under his own power and walked slowly to the back.
3) Big John Studd & Larry Zbyszko (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) beat Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen by Disqualification in 11:45. -The match broke down into a per six brawl and Hansen brought in his bullrope and started swinging. The officials had no choice but to call for the bell and head to safety.
4) Curt Hennig & Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan) defeated The Mongols (Bepo & Geeto) (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) when Hennig pinned Geeto with a Perfect Plex in 6:32. -Heenan's team outwrestled and outwitted the slower team. Rude hit a swinging neckbreaker and fed him into Hennig who locked in the Fisherman suplex for the three.
-Brass Knuckles Match- 5) Ronnie Garvin defeated Tully Blanchard by knockout in 10:32. -Heenan was barred from ringside and Garvin demanded this match after Blanchard used an object in their last encounter. Tully didn't have much chance and was battered and bloodied most of the bout.
-Semi-Finals- 6) The Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) beat Demolition (Ax & Smash) (w/ Mr. Fuji) when Blair used the Sleeper on Smash in 12:08. -A bit of an upset as the quicker Bees defeated the powerful Ax and Smash. All four men were in the ring and Ax ran at Brunzell who ducked under and bcakdropped him off the ropes. Blair then whipped Smash off the ropes and put him to sleep.
7) Big John Studd & Larry Zbyszko (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) beat Curt Henning & Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan) by Disqualification when Henning accidentally hit the ref in 13:21. -Zbyszko proved his intelligence as he pulled the ref in front of an assault by Henning in the turnbuckle. The match continued and Rude hit a Piledriver and went for the cover. The ref came out of his semi-conscious state and called for the bell disqualifying Henning. Heenan was irate and gave the ref an earful as he headed towards the locker room.
-Finals- 8) The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) beat Big John Studd & Larry Zbyszko (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) when Blair applied the Boston Crab to Zbyszko to win the titles in 17:21. -Al four men were in the ring and Studd charged the turnbuckle at Brunzell and missed. He fell hard to the mat. Brunzell then hit a Killer Dropkick on Zbyszko and Blair locked in a Boston Crab in the center of the ring. Zbyszko had nowhere to go and was forced to tap.
-LWA World Heavyweight Title Match- 9) "Nature Boy" Ric Flair defeated Nick Bockwinkel (c) (w/Bobby Heenan) with a Pin Using the Ropes in 20:44 to regain the belt. -The return match saw Flair overcome many obstacles to regain the gold. Flair locked in the Figure Four and had Bockwinkel in trouble but Heenan motioned to the back and Curt Henning and Rick Rude walked down to ringside. Flair let go but the official immediately ordered them to the back. Heenan tried to distract Flair but was chopped to the floor. Flair was able to use his feet one ropes without the ref seeing to win the bout and regain the title.

-Deep South Wrestling-
-LWA United States Heavyweight Title Tournament-
-First Round-
1) Sting defeated Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (w/J.J. Dillon) with the Scorpion Deathlock in 5:25. -The Stinger was dominant in this one and had the grizzled vet tap out to his signature hold.
2) "Magnificent" Muraco beat "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes with a Neckbreaker in 9:32. -This was a close match but Muraco used some foul play to get the victory. A low blow in the corner led to the neckbreaker and a three count. Muraco didn't stop there though and delivered a Hawaiian Hammer in the center of the ring. He was ready to inflict more punishment until Blackjack Mulligan stormed the ring and sent Muraco fleeing.
Mulligan demanded the mic. "I want everyone to listen to me. Muraco and especially you Billy Graham. You may have hurt this big Texan but here I am. I stand before everyone here ready to fight and I will get my revenge on you Superstar. Myself and Dusty are ready to stand against anyone who thinks they can just do what they please here in the Deep South. So Muraco I'd start looking over my shoulder if I was you 'cause you are next on the list"
3) "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/J.J. Dillon) defeated "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant with the Superstar Bearhug in 7:55. -Valiant made a match out of it and was pushed on by the crowd. He wasn't able to solve the incredible power of his adversary and slumped over when he locked in the Bearhug.
4) Lex Luger (w/Jimmy Hart) defeated David Von Erich with the Torture Rack in 11:21. -These two had a great match that could have gone either way. Von Erich clamped down with the Iron Claw but fell victim to the distraction by Hart. Luger took control and hoisted his opponent over his shoulders and got the submission to advance.
-LWA United States Tag Team Title Match- 5) The Heavenly Bodies (Stan Lane & Dr. Tom Prichard) (w/Jimmy Hart) defeated The Fantastics (c) (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) when Prichard pinned Rogers with an Enzugiri in 18:22. -A fast paced bout with two experienced teams. In the end the champions could not hold off Jimmy Hart and his team. All four men battled in the ring and the ref lost control. Lane cracked Rogers with Hart's megaphone and Prichard finished him off with a devastating kick to the cranium to capture the gold.
-Semi-Finals-
6) Sting defeated "Magnificent" Muraco with the Scorpion Deathlock in 10:18. -Sting rode a wave of momentum and hit a pair of Stinger Splashes and then locked in on the Deathlock to gain a ticket to the finals.
7) "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/J.J. Dillon) beat Lex Luger (w/Jimmy Hart) with the Superstar Bearhug in 15:33. -Both managers interfered in this match helping their respective proteges. Hart and Dillon began arguing and then fighting over Hart's Mega-Mouth. The ref stepped over to admonish them and it fell into the ring. Luger scooped it up but was thwarted by Graham with a kick to the gut. He then whipped Luger off the ropes and locked in the Bearhug in the center of the ring for the win.
-The HOT SEAT w/ Bill Apter - (Guest: Jerry Lawler) BA: Hello fans and I hope that you have enjoyed the action thus far and are ready for an exciting main event to decide the new United States champion. But before we present that match to you I'd like to bring in Jerry "The King" Lawler. JL: Apter. I don't really know why I agreed to do this? I've got nothing to say to you or these idiots out in those seats? BA: Well, maybe you agreed to come here because you have been suspended by Eddie Marlin for your actions towards Tracy Smothers. JL: I have been a bit bored but this no one more boring than Tracy Smothers. Ha ha. BA: I'm sure everyone would love to know why you chose to shoot a Fireball at Smothers the last time you met in the ring? JL: Look. This sport is tough. Things happen. Tracy Smothers needs to realize when he's in the ring with me that I am the hottest attraction in this sport. Too hot to handle and too cold to hold. Now I understand that he actually wants to wrestle me again, is that right? Next time this two bit promotion pops open its' tent in Memphis, Tennessee that he wants to face me in a Texas Death Match. You must be dumber that I even thought you were. You will meet your end with a one way ticket out of professional wrestling for good. Now if you'll excuse me. I need to be anywhere but here. (crowd boos)
-Finals- 8) Sting defeated "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/J.J. Dillon) with a Flying Clothesline in 17:33. -Dillon was ejected from the match after he put Graham's foot on the ropes during a pin attempt and the official caught it. Without Dillon Sting was able to use his agility to fluster the stronger Graham. He went to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline that was enough to get the pin.

World Tag Grand Prix
*Winners to take home $50,000 and the LWA World Tag Team Titles!
-First Round-
1) The Rock N' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeated Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake) (w/J.J. Dillon) when Morton pinned Valentine with a Hurra-canrana in 11:32. -Fast paced match to start the tournament. Gibson hit Beefcake with a surprise Cross Body and almost had the pin but Dillon placed his charges foot on the ropes. Later on all four men fought in the ring and Gibson hit Brutus with a dropkick that sent him to the floor. Morton jumped on the front shoulders of the Hammer and cradled him up for a big win heading into the next round.
2) The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry Gordy & Buddy Roberts ) (w/Michael Hayes) beat "Ravishing" Rick Rude & "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig (w/Bobby Heenan) when Gordy pinned Rude with a Piledriver in 13:45. -A wild affair that saw the ref lose control as both Hayes and Heenan interfered at various points in the bout. Amidst the chaos Gordy hit a lariat to Rude off the rope and then dropped him on his head to gain the win.
3) The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) defeated "King" Jerry Lawler & "Superstar" Bill Dundee by Disqualification when Lawler used a steel chair in 8:31. -The double teaming by the fan favorites wore on Lawler and Dundee. Rogers had Dundee in trouble with a Sleeperhold and Lawler simply saved his partner with a chair shot. The ref called for the bell and a two on one ensued until Fulton grabbed a chair his own to save his partner.
4) Ivan Koloff & Krusher Kruschev beat Rick & Scott Steiner by Count-Out in 10:41. -The Russian team was able to outsmart the Michigan tandem and Koloff was able to roll in and beat the count before Rick to be able to advance.
5) Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen defeated The Heavenly Bodies (Stan Lane & Dr. Tom Prichard ) (w/Jimmy Hart) when Hansen pinned Prichard with a Lariat in 7:33. -This was a brutal mismatch as Brody and Hansen overpowered Hart's team. Hansen ended things for the United States tag team champions with a stiff looking Lariat for the three.
6) "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & Blackjack Mulligan defeated Prof. Toru Tanaka & Mr. Saito (w/Capt. Lou Albano) by Count-Out in 15:09. -All four men fought on the floor as the count rose. Saito was backdropped by Rhodes and Tanaka took a shot to the ringpost as Mulligan and Rhodes beat the count to take the win.
7) Kevin & David Von Erich defeated Demolition (Ax & Smash) (w/Mr. Fuji) when Kevin pinned Ax after he ran into the turnbuckle in 9:29. -A mild upset as the popular Texans took the match. Ax went running towards Kevin in the turnbuckle and Von Erich dodged him. Ax fell backwards and Von Erich cradled him up for the victory.
8) Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton) (w/Jim Cornette) defeated The Killer Bees (Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) when Eaton pinned Blair after a Top rope elbow in 11:08. -A pier six brawl broke out late in the match. Blair reversed a cradle on Condrey and Cornette distracted the ref. Eaton came crashing down from the top rope and covered Blair for the pinfall.
-LWA Hollywood Heritage Title Match- 9) Mr. Fuji beat Masked Superstar (c) by Disqualification in 12:08 when Superstar delivered a Spinning Neckbreaker to the concrete. -A fast developing rivalry between these two was far from settled in this one. The masked man was in control for most of the match. He hit a Spinning Neckbreaker in the middle of the ring and then pulled up Fuji at the two count. Then he tossed him to the outside and delivered another on the floor! The ref had seen enough brutality and called for the bell. Superstar bowed over the fallen opponent and Ax and Smash quickly rushed to help their manager as the masked champion left the scene.
-Quarterfinals-
10) The Rock N' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) beat The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Roberts) (w/Terry Gordy) by Disqualification in 16:22 when Gordy interfered. -An even contest that could have gone either way. The Rockers hit their patented Double Dropkick on Roberts and Gordy slid in to make the save as Hayes was half conscious in the corner from an enzugiri.
11) Ivan Koloff & Krusher Kruschev defeated The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) when Rogers submitted to Kruschev's Cobra Clutch in 14:05. -The Russians used power and double teams to gain the upper hand. Kruschev locked in a Cobra hold that put the smaller Rogers out to punch a ticket to the semis.
12) Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen defeated "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & Blackjack Mulligan in 15:43 when Hansen pinned Rhodes with a Lariat. -A classic brawl between these two teams. They fought in and out of the ring. Rhodes got caught on the wrong side of a double team with a big boot from Brody and then a charging Lariat from the big Texan that finished him off.
13) Kevin & David Von Erich beat The Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton) (w/Jim Cornette) by Count-Out in 17:20. -The finish saw David clamp down with the Iron Claw on Condrey. Cornette distracted the ref and tossed the tennis racket to Eaton who whacked David on the back. Kevin hit a flying dropkick on Beautiful Bobby that sent the racket flying. Kevin picked it up and smashed Eaton who fell out of the rig and then to Condrey who did the same. Both fell to the floor and were unable to get back in the ring to meet the ten count.
-LWA World Heavyweight NON-Title Match- 14) "Nature" Boy" Ric Flair (c) defeated Hulk Hogan with the Figure Four Leglock in 15:03. -Flair was adamant that Hogan would have to prove himself before he got a shot at the gold. The two went back and forth with Hogan's power giving Flair some anxious moments. The champ was able to work on the legs of the bigger man and kept him grounded. Flair continued and locked in the Figure Four. Hogan fought but couldn't take anymore and was forced the give up.
-Semi-Finals- 15) Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen and Kevin & David Von Erich fought to a Double-Disqualification in 10:55. -All four men were in the ring and a brawl erupted that the ref could not contain. Finally he was forced to throw the match out disqualifying both teams. The result now makes the other Semi-Final now a final to see who will win the money and the belts!
-Finals- 16) The Rock N' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeated Ivan Koloff & Krusher Kruschev when Morton pinned Koloff with the Double Dropkick in 18:32. - An epic match that saw the crowd elated over the title win by the Rock N Rolls. Morton ducked a shot of the Russian chain by Koloff and hit him with a dropkick. Gibson then joined in and they hit a Double Dropkick to knock him out.
News & Notes: Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson are the new LWA World Tag Team champions with an inspired run through the tournament. Ric Flair bested Hulk Hogan to settle their issues.. for now. Masked Superstar showed his mean streak as he lost the match but held on to his title against the devious Mr. Fuji. No word yet if Fuji sustained serious injuries. He has vowed to not only get the title off the masked man but to run him out of wrestling as well. 16)

Card #14 Baltimore, MD
-Capitol Championship Wrestling-
1) "Dangerous" Dan Spivey defeated S.D. Jones in 7:45 with a Sidewalk Slam. -Jones put up a good fight but Spivey overpowered his foe to the victory.
2) Wahoo McDaniel beat The Iron Sheik by Disqualification in 9:21 when the Sheik brawled outside the ring. -This was a hard hitting contest with both men unleashing the heavy artillery. A brawl began outside the ring but the Iranian did not like the stiff cops being handed out by the grizzled vet McDaniel. He stomped away with his curled boots on the outside and slammed a steel chair on to his back. The ref was forced the ring the bell.
-LWF North American Tag Team Tournament- - Semi-Finals- 3) Barry Windham & Dick Murdoch defeated Nikita Koloff & Boris Zhukov when Murdoch pinned Zhukov with a Brain-buster in 12:08. -A great match that could have gone either way. All four men fought in the ring and Windham was able to keep Koloff busy while Captain Redneck hit his finisher on Zhukov. The three count was academic and the American team advances to the finals of the four team tournament. After the fall, Nikita was visibly upset and helped Boris up only to land a Russian Sickle on him and leave him in the ring by himself.
4) Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey) (w/ Jim Cornette) beat Hulk Hogan & Hillbilly Jim when Condrey pinned Jim after a Brain-buster in 11:42. -The finish saw Hogan drop the big Leg on Eaton and before the three count was administered Jim Cornette distracted Hogan. The California native grabbed him by his jacket and landed a right hand that sent him to the floor. He chased after Cornette and left his partner in the ring to get double teamed and then droppedon his head for the three count.
5) "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka defeated The Warlord (w/ Capt. Lou Albano) with the Superfly Leap in 10:08. -Snuka rallied after a Warlord beatdown and Albano jumps on the apron. He then flipped the huge Sicilian into the ring and whipped him into Warlord who was in the turnbuckle. Snuka then went up top to finish things off with a huge splash.
6) "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan beat Abdullah the Butcher (w/ Jim Cornette) by Disqualification in 6:01 when he used a Foreign Object. -This match was a huge brawl start to finish. The Butcher got caught grabbing an object from his tights and the ref rang the bell. It should be noted that both men were bleeding and that his one is far from over.
-LWF North American Tag Team Title Tournament Final- 7) Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey) (w/ Jim Cornette) beat Barry Windham & Dick Murdoch when Condrey pinned Murdoch with a Face-First Leg sweep in 18:55. -Classic tag match. All four men were in the ring and Eaton tossed Windham to the concrete. He then hit a quick double team and Condrey slammed Murdoch face-first for the win and the titles.
-LWF North American Title Match- 8) Harley Race (c) and "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas fought to a Double-Disqualification in 15:17. -Race was in danger of losing his title several times and chose to got to the outside and fight with the muscular Atlas. The battled raged on until the official had seen enough and called for the bell. A return match has been signed.
