I meant to check back in on this. I got my copy of the base game with the 100 heavyweight boxers. I love how it plays. I have done four matches so far and as Ty noted it does flow nicely once you have a handle on the rules. I admittedly read through the rulebook a couple of times because it is easy to forget things.
My favorite result was a 0:34 first round KO victory for Sonny Liston over Lennox Lewis! Talk about making a statement. The dice rolls required for that are hard to hit but it happened which was pretty cool. I had a second round KO in another fight while the other two went to a ten round and twelve round draw with judges decisions coming into play.
Overall I am very happy with the game and it's a nice go to if I take a break from Legends (which is not often!). Highly recommended if you like boxing.

I ordered the pdf sets of this. Paid but never heard a thing. Have chased by email but nothing yet. Pretty poor. I assumed i would get the files to download straight away

I got my mail order pretty quickly so I'm not sure why you would have this problem. Keep us posted on this if you can. |

Well email Anthony. I just saw someone on the fb group say they didn't get the download link and he got it sent to him right away. Could be a problem with the website.

I play Title Bout 2. It's available as a board game, also as a PDF and there's a computer version. I highly recommend it for its realism and the wide range of historical boxers available.

Well after not playing the boxing game for a long time I finally finished my world heavyweight championship tournament. James Jeffries knocked out Sam Langford in the 9th round to win the All World Boxing heavyweight championship!
Now I have set up a tournament using all of the lineal world heavyweight champions. There were 6 qualifying matches to set the 32-man tournament.

I'm down to the finals of the Lineal World Heavyweight Champions Tournament. It's Gene Tunney vs. Muhammad Ali. A lot of great bouts. A few upsets. Tyson and Ali went 12 rounds to a Split Draw. I had a sudden death 13th round and Ali was able to get a majority decision to reach the final. I had another bout go 12 and the same thing but needed 2 more rounds to get a winner.
