Does anyone play Glory Days Boxing? Last week I won a full printed set of everything he has available. The main game has 100 heavyweight boxers. There's another 100 heavyweight fighter set, plus 100 fighters sets for welterweight, bantam weight, lightweight, light heavyweight, and middle weight. Everything can also be purchased as a pdf.
I'm still learning how to play and know there's a few little things I don't think I'm doing quite right. But I've set up a roster of 32 heavyweight fighters starting by their debut year (listed on the roster sheets) so I started in the late 19th century up to early 1900s and have done two fights in my world heavyweight title tournament so far.

I actually just ordered this Ty, just the base game with the 100 heavyweight boxers. If I like it enough I will add on other cards in the future. How are you liking it so far?

I am liking it. It feels like I'm watching a boxing match. I know there's a couple things I'm not doing right so still learning. It's not too difficult just some little things to roll in certain situations.

I am going to check this out, I've been looking for some new games to play!
EDIT - Looks like they are using wacky dice to play? I don't really know much about this game - have to watch more videos on it.

I don't know what wacky dice are. It takes two sixes, two 10s, and one 20 sided die.

I am not a boxing fan but I like it. If you buy the main game you'll get the dice needed to play. If you order the pdf you'll have to get some dice. With just the main set you get 100 heavyweight fighters. Then he has a second set of 100 heavyweights, plus 100 middleweights, lightweights, light-heavyweights, welterweights and bantam weights. He is going to be doing featherweight and flyweights next.

So I've been having fun with this. I set up my boxing promotion starting with the oldest fighters that are in the game. So a bunch from before 1900 and I ended up going to 32 total for a heavyweight title tournament. I set the game year at 1908. I have four fights left to play in the second round. I space the dates out, began Jan. 4, 1908 and the next four bouts are on March 27 or something. After the first round was over I had all the guys who lost get a fight and then went to the second round.

I actually e-mailed the guy who created the game when I looked at the heavyweight lists to ask him why Sonny Liston and Larry Holmes weren't included. He said that was an error and they are in the heavyweight set that comes with the main game. Credibility restored.  I played Gary Brown's Legends of Boxing for a long time. Great game. Might give this a look. Watched a couple of the youtube vids and like the way the game flows. |

It does flow nicely and it's easy to visualize the action as it goes back and forth. The creator seems good with helping people, answering questions, correcting any issues with cards or orders. I think he's working on flyweight and featherweight sets next.
