CotG HIstory Question

Hi

Here's a CotG history question I always wondered about:

I remember way back when the CotG set "The End" set was actually going to be THE END of CotG sets.

Just curious as to why it really WASN'T the end? Anyone wanna dish on the behind-the-scenes happenings that made it possible for all this CotG Madness to continue? (Sure glad it did, I always wondered about THE END!)

Well of course, Tom decided he simply wanted to continue. He thought about ending the game due to his teaching job and what goals he wanted to pursue. The whole story is in his first book.
