MSWA Card # 1 02.22.from Mid-South Coliseum
Commissioner Charlie Cox welcomes everyone to Mid-South Championship wrestling. He says tonight we will crown Mid-South Tag Team Champions. And that we are going to kick things off with an 8 man battle royal where the winner gets a future title shot of his choice.
- 8-Man Over the Top Battle Royal - Vampire Warrior vs. Ricky Landell vs. The Mountie vs. Dupae Rupa "The Belgian Brawler" vs. Timber "The Insane Lumberjack" vs. Delirious vs. Adam Pearce vs. Mondo Kleen
Starts off wildly and everybody tears into each other. After about four minutes Adam Pearce gets eliminated by Belgian Brawler. Mountie and Brawler seem to be in cahoots. Delirious fights back on both of them and charges Mountie who backdrops him over the top rope. Meanwhile Mondo Kleen and Timber assault each other one on one throughout this match. so far. After fighting each other exclusively, Mondo Kleen eliminates Timber. A long battle sequence follows with the tandem of Mountie and Brawler trying to dictate the flow. Landell charges Brawler and both go over the top rope but Landell manages to hang on and Brawler is eliminated. This is quickly followed by Mountie getting eliminated by Vampire Warrior. Then immediately after that Landell gets eliminated by Mondo Kleen. Kleen and Warrior square off for a few minutes but Warrior hits his IMPLANT DDT allowing him to dump Kleen out and win the match
Order of Elimination (eliminated by)

- Mid-South Tag Team Tournament - The Backseat Boyz w/Jonny Fairplay vs. Kings of Wrestling

- Mid-South Tag Team Tournament - Samoan Island Tribe vs. Supernaturals w/James Mitchell
Fun match. Samoans become instant fan favorites with their agility moves. 285 pound Samu hitting a running cross body block on Sam Hayne was a highlight. WINNERS BY DQ: Samoan Island Tribe
- Mid-South Tag Team Tournament - Sweet 'N' Sour Inc. w/April Hunter vs. Naptown Dragons
Interesting bout, Naptown Dragons are probably the favorites to win, but admit all the glitz and glamour of Sweeney's entourage, the Naptown Dragons get caught napping as Sweeney hits hit '68 Comeback Special on Scotty Vortekz WINNERS: Sweet 'N' Sour Inc.
- Mid-South Tag Team Tournament - Heartbreak Express w/Eddie Fyne vs Super Friends
Last first round match. Heartbreak Express on loan tonight from the Eddie Fyne collection taking on the SuperFriends. Quackenbush manages to survive and make a hot tag to Chris Hero who comes in and cleans house. Hero and Sean Davis fight to the floor where Davis gets nailed by a moonsault and a dropkick from Hero. Hero then tags Quackenbush who hits a swanton dive to the floor, Sean Davis never has a chance to get back in the ring WINNERS BY CO: Super Friends

Security quickly breaks up the brawl WINNERS: The Backseat Boyz
- Mid-South Tag Team Tournament - Sweet 'N' Sour Inc. w/April Hunter vs. Super Friends
Straightforward match here. Male fans distracted by April Hunter's attire but it wasn't enough to distract the SuperFriends. Quackenbush gets his cut re-opened by JD Michaels, who focused on the injury. Again Quackenbush perservered and tagged Hero in and he downs JD and pins him after two Hero Sandwiches WINNERS: Super Friends
Necro Butcher vs. "Pyscho Shooter" Drake Younger
Another short singles match here as Drake Younger gets the duke on Necro Butcher following a DRAKE'S LANDING WINNER: DRAKE YOUNGER
- Mid-South Tag Team Tournament Finals - The Backseat Boyz w/Jonny Fairplay vs. Super Friends
Decent match. Super Friends control the offense much to the chagrin on Jonny Fairplay. After Hero nails Acid with a Hero Stomp, Kashmere runs in. Hero fights Kashmere off and Quackenbush charges through the ropes taking Kashmere violently to the floor. Ref is distracted so Fairplay enters the ring and nails Hero with a chair. Acid then tags out to Kashmere after ref restores order. Kashmere hits a CRADLE BREAKER on Hero for the 1-2-3! WINNERS AND NEW MSWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE BACKSEAT BOYZ

Ariel vs. Trinity DeNucci
The start of this match was slightly delayed due to Alofa needing some medical attention. Both women trying to secure a title shot. Just as match begins, manager Eddie Fyne comes out and watches the action at ringside. A quick paced match here, Ariel gets the drop this time after an Ariel Go Round. Fyne enters the ring after the match and approaches both women and finally goes to Trinity and offers her a spot in his Fyne Collection stable. He states he needs a female title contender and thinks Trinity would do well under his managerial advice and also perhaps a makeover to improve her Jersey girl image. Trinity tells Eddie to shove it and walks off. Ariel then grabs Eddie and says that she is interested in being in the Fyne Collection, but Eddie seems hesitant and doesn't think she is good enough based on her current win-loss record. Ariel argues that she is just hitting her stride and will bring the US Women's title to him. Eddie says that he is not interested and leaves. WINNER: ARIEL
Claudio Castagnoli vs. "Pyscho Shooter" Drake Younger

Adam sees her at ringside talking to his manager and he yells from the ring at Eddie to focus on the match. This gives the Belgian Brawler an opportunity and he takes it to the champion. Brawler hits his BELGIAN WAFFLE and covers Adam when Ariel grabs the ref's leg and pulls him out of the ring. Ref calls for the bell. Eddie yells at Ariel but she protests that she was only trying to help. She leaves in a huff and Adam has words with his manager postmatch about his priorities. WINNER BY DQ: BELGIAN BRAWLER
