KRONOS Tournament of Champions Brand / KRONOS Card #21

A video of Solaris in his office was shown on the giant videoscreen before the matches started. Solaris was in his VERY spacious office, sitting behind his absolutely humongous desk. He was going over plans which concerned the upcoming tournament to crown new ToC Gemini Tag Champions, since Magnus Colby had left with the Belts in tow at the end of the PPV.

Cupid entered the office, unannounced.

"Excuse me? Solaris? Um, your secretary wasn't at her desk, so I hope I'm not intruding...?"

"Huh?" Solaris looked up. "Ah, no. Come on in and have a seat. What's on your mind?"

Cupid sat down. "I was wondering since Pegasus is teaming with Jupiter as the Overmen here in ToC and are being managed by Honos, while Olympia is over with the Greek Gods in the Battle Lines brand, I was wondering if maybe, ah, I could manage the Greek Gods...?"

The wheels in Solaris' head began churning. With Cupid as the Greek Gods manager, it would free up some time to look for Colby and the Gemini Belts! What a stroke of genius!

Solaris smiled for the first time since the PPV. He said, "Cupid, I know you have no experience in being a manager, but it would save me some very precious time. You know what? You have yourself a deal!"

With that, he and Cupid shook hands. And so begins Cupid's career as a manager!

A bit of a quick match, as Thantos proved the better wrestler here.
Bishop Hell & Thantos won when Thantos used his finisher - MASTERLOCK on Shoot in a time of 4:37.

TOURNAMENT FOR ToC GEMINI TAG BELTS - FIRST ROUND
Cool & True Blue VS Nosfera & Total Anarchy
Evil intentions by the heel team here, as they seemed to only focus on cheating here.
Cool & True Blue won when Total Anarchy was disqualified against Cool in a time of 3:55.

Infinity VS Encubus - COSMIC CAGE
A surprisingly quick match here as the still-injured Infinity made quick work of Encubus in this one.
Inifinity won after an Infinity Challenge in a time of 2:39.

TOURNAMENT FOR ToC GEMINI TAG BELTS - FIRST ROUND
Jupiter & Pegasus VS Darkest Justice & Mandrill Gorog
A good match here with both teams working well together, then Pegasus was able to get the win this time.
Jupiter & Pegasus won when Pegasus pinned Gorog with a Jumping Piledriver in a time of 17:13.

TOURNAMENT FOR ToC GEMINI TAG BELTS - FIRST ROUND
Orrus & Basilisk VS Murdok Antilla & Ruin
This was mostly a brawl, with the Swamp Things team coming out on top in this one.
Orrus & The Basilisk won when Ruin was disqualified against The Basilisk in a time of 19:48.

ToC Aries Inter-Planetary Champ Avenging Force VS Star Warrior - Non-Title Bout
It was over in a flash, as Avenging Warrior wanted no part of Star Warrior in this one.
Star Warrior won when Avenging Warrior was disqualified in a time of 2:03, thus Star Warrior receives a Title Bout on the next ToC fight card!

TOURNAMENT FOR ToC GEMINI TAG BELTS - SECOND ROUND
Cool & True Blue VS Bishop Hell & Thantos
Thantos showed off his skill once again, as he got the win for his team here.

A surprisingly easy match for Matador as he got an easy win here.
Matador won with Matador Death Run in a time of 2:07, thus Matador receives a Title Bout on the next ToC fight card!

Jupiter & Pegasus VS Bishop Hell & Thantos
An excellent match here, with Jupiter & Pegasus getting the win and the Belts!
Jupiter & Pegasus won when Jupiter won over Bishop Hell with his Finisher - CHAMPION SUPER DROP in a time of 12:14, thus Jupiter & Pegasus are the NEW ToC Gemini Tag Team Champions for the first time!!

ToC Grudge Master Champ Chaos VS Tongsoon - TITLE BOUT (Earth Ladder)
A solid match, with Chaos barely surviving a good gameplan by Tongsoon in this one.
Chaos won with his Finisher - BOW OF DEFEAT in a time of 12:35, thus Chaos retained the ToC Grudge Master Belt!

The Gladiators were backstage, going over strategies for their matches that night. Mayhem Unleashed had a particularly WILD look in his eye, so wild in fact, that it unnerved his teammates quite a bit.

"So, what do you think of this guy Cupid managing the Greek Gods?" Mayhem began.

Aethran Overmaster replied, "He's not on our radar tonight. We will deal with him when the time comes. Let's focus on our opponents tonight, shall we?"

Spike, the Kronos Heavyweight Champion, chimed in. "He's a newbie! We don't need to concern ourselves with him at this time, don't you think?"

Raven stated, "What can he do to us? Nothing, that's what. I'm more concerned with Vyper! At the PPV, I saw Splatter hand over that club, Arsenal, to him before he left! Are we going to have to keep our backs guarded in case Vyper lets loose with his version of the Lottery?"

Mayhem Unleashed scoffed. "Ha! Vyper wouldn't DARE attack the Gladiators! I'd like to see him try!"

This got a chuckle from the team, although the team was still a bit weary of their new teammate since Mayhem Unleashed still had that wild look in his eye...

Proteus (with Cupid) VS Warfare
Being a bit hot-headed was not good for Warfare here, as he lost this one by DQ.
Proteus won when Warfare was disqualified in a time of 6:33.

Destructon 4300 VS Nebula Bloodline
A classic back-and-forth match here, as Bloodline eventually took over and won this one.
Nebula Bloodline won with his Finisher - CETUS SLEEPER in a time of 12:24.

General Aegis VS Paganax
A dominant match for Paganax in his debut, as he used his Finisher three times to win here.
Paganax won with his Finisher - PAGAN VOID in a time of 4:59.

Kronos Tag Champs Density & Rune Larrs VS Infinity-Plex & Rack - Non-Title Bout
After Rack had absolutely no offense, Infinity-Plex finally got in and won for his team.
Infinity-Plex & Rack won when Infinity-Plex used his Finisher - INSTABILITY GRIP against Density in a time of 9:31, thus Infinity-Plex & Rack receive a Title Bout on the next BL fight card, also Density is injured for FIVE fight cards (NO suspension)!

Olympia VS Mensar Synistarr (with Tyranny)
Synistarr lost his temper and was DQed here, as Olympia was in full control this time.
Olympia won when Mensar Synistarr was disqualified in a time of 10:04.

Kronos Victory Champ Avalanche (with Johnny Rocket) VS Galactic Punisher - Non-Title Bout
Not easing up on the punishment, Punisher used his Finisher several times in order to get the win.
Galactic Punisher won with his Finisher - VIGILANTE JUSTICE in a time of 11:03, thus Galactic Punisher receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!

Blazing Holocaust & Wolf (with Warden) VS Mayhem Unleashed & Raven
An easy match for Raven here, as Holocaust was very low-energy in this one.
Mayhem Unleashed & Raven won when Raven used his Finisher - BLADE RUNNER against Blazing Holocaust in a time of 3:42.

Kronos Heavyweight Champion Spike (with A.Overmaster) VS Max Shield - Non-Title Bout
A good outing by Shield as he went on to win this time around.
Max Shield won with his Finisher - OMICRON FORCE in a time of 10:43, thus Max Shield receives a Title Bout on the next BL fight card!

Cool & True Blue VS Swarm & Vyper (with Krakan) - BRAND CROSS-OVER
The Hitmen were not playing games as they dismantled their opponents with ease.
Swarm & Vyper won when Vyper used his Finisher - VENOMOUS STINGER against Cool in a time of 7:25.

Kronos Cage Wars Champion Monolith VS Actagon - TITLE BOUT
This was almost a squash match, but even with a comeback by Actagon, it was not enough so Monolith won.
Monolith won with his Finisher - I BREAK YOU in a time of 11:51, thus Monolith retained the Kronos Cage Wars Belt!

Infinity was in the ring with his arms crossed before the night's fights began. He had this to say:

"Chaos. It's at times like these that the truly great are made. Some will falter and whither away, others will excell and overcome. What will you do tonight, Chaos? You have an opportunity to prove your worth tonight. I will be gunning for your Grudge Master Belt, I feel that I deserve it.

"Are you up to the challenge? It's sink-or-swim time, Chaos! Do you still have enough left in the tank to come out victorious tonight, or is it your destiny to falter and stumble like so many champions before you?

"Think about it before our match, Chaos. You could be IMMORTAL after tonight, or just another loser that couldn't get the job done!"

The Basilisk VS Ruin
A long match to start off the card, with The Basilisk finally able to get the win.
The Basilisk won with a Gaze of Stone in a time of 23:11.

Orrus VS Thantos - TITAN DEATH
After a slow start, Thantos came back and was able to get the victory in this one.
Thantos won with a Running Clothesline in a time of 13:19.

Shoot VS Nosfera
A quick match here, as Nosfera won without much trouble here.
Nosfera won with his Finisher - SPRING HEEL KICK in a time of 1:32.

ToC Gemini Tag Champions Jupiter & Pegasus
VS Darkest Justice & Mandrill Gorog - Non-Title Bout
This could have gone either way with plenty of pin attempts, then the challengers got the win!
Darkest Justice & Mandrill Gorog won when Gorog used his Finisher - SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER on Jupiter in a time of 24:30, thus Darkest Justice & Mandrill Gorog receive a Title Bout on the next fight card!

A drag-out knock-down fight here, with Total Anarchy getting the win eventually.

A determined Star Warrior was able to get the win and take the Belt here!

Encubus managed to frustrate True Blue enough to the point that Blue was DQed in this one.

ToC Grudge Master Champion Chaos VS Infinity - TITLE BOUT (Lepus Stun Rod)
A all-time classic match here, with Infinity getting the win to the delight of the crowd!
Infinity won with a Regulus Regulator in a time of 22:01, thus Infinity becomes the NEW ToC Grudge Master Champion!!

Tongsoon VS Paganax - BRAND CROSS-OVER
A surprise upset here, as Tongsoon was able to secure a victory in this one.
Tongsoon won with his Finisher - BATTLE CRY in a time of 3:37.

ToC Zodiac Heavyweight Champion Cosmos VS Matador - TITLE BOUT
Proving his worth as champion, Cosmos won this to the surprise of Matador here.
Cosmos won with his Finisher - MASTERLOCK in a time of 10:50, thus Cosmos retained the ToC Zodiac Heavyweight Belt, then Matador was injured for TWO fight cards!!

A very sad-looking and bandaged-up Density appeared in the ring as the night started. With tears in his eyes, he had this to say:

"Mr. Infinity-Plex, please, I implore you not to beat me up too badly tonight. I'm hurt. Really hurt. I'm at the point where I want to quit wrestling. So tonight, maybe I will just hand over the Kronos Tag Belts to you and Rack, okay? You deserve the Belts, you really do. As you can plainly see, I'm in no condition at all to wrestle.

"So please, just go easy on me if I do decide to wrestle. Please see it in your heart to have... a LITTLE mercy, okay?"

With that, he limped back to the dressing room. Was this a SINCERE cry for mercy or--?

Actagon VS Mayhem Unleashed
After countering Mayhem's initial offense right away, Mayhem threw a fit and was DQed quickly.
Actagon won when Mayhem Unleashed was disqualified in a time of 2:13.

Blazing Holocaust VS Paganax
Another quick match, as Paganax fell to one of Holocaust's moves easily.
Blazing Holocaust won with a Heat Seeking Missile Shot in a time of 1:49.

Olympia & Proteus (with Cupid) VS Murdok Antilla & Ruin - Brand Cross-Over
Ruin was trapped in the ring, as Proteus' strategy paid off with a victory here.
Olympia & Proteus won when Proteus used his Finisher - PROTEUS SMASH against Ruin in a time of 5:22.

Nebula Bloodline VS Swarm
Swarm did not like the way the match was going, so he got himself DQed to end it.
Nebula Bloodline won when Swarm was disqualified in a time of 6:28.

Kronos Tag Champs Density & Rune Larrs VS Infinity-Plex & Rack - TITLE BOUT
Playing possum worked well for the injured Density, as he went on to win for his team here.
Density & Rune Larrs won when Density pinned Infinity-Plex with a Falling Knee Drop in a time of 3:57, thus Density & Rune Larrs retained the Kronos Tag Belts, and then Density injured Infinity-Plex for FOUR fight cards (Carter to rule on SUSPENSION for Density)!!

Destructon 4300 VS Mensar Synistarr
As the match wore on, Destructon got more and more angry until he let loose and was DQed.
Mensar Synistarr won when Destructon 4300 was disqualified in a time of 5:15.

Kronos Cage Wars Champion Monolith VS Wolf - TITLE BOUT
These two tore into each other to the delight of the crowd, with Monolith getting the win.
Monolith won with his Finisher - CATASTROPHE in a time of 23:20, thus Monolith retained the Kronos Cage Wars Belt!

General Aegis VS Raven
Aegis looked a bit confused as Raven was able to execute moves with little resistance here.

The ToC Zodiac Heavyweight Champion Cosmos was in the ring as the night started. He had this to say:

"Thantos, you have a Title Bout against me tonight for this Belt," he said, as he pointed at the ToC Zodiac Heavyweight Belt draped across his shoulder. "You kow, when I first was told about you, I was mistakenly told that you were ME from a different dimension. I had been told about the 'Breaking of the Code' and the attack that led to a huge scar on my counterpart's face. It made no sense to me that you were THAT Thantos, since you had no scar, obviously.

"It wasn't until recently that I was told you were some sort of imposter, just USING the name 'Thantos'. Well, maybe not an 'imposter', but someone that looks a lot like the real guy. You use his moves, talk in his voice, and walk about the ring like him, but you are NOT him.

"I bring this up because you need to step up your game tonight. You want this Belt, but you need to be talented enough to take it from me. Well, do you have the talent? Do you want this Belt badly enough to find a way to win it?

I hope, for your sake, that your gameplan is better than mine. No, on second thought, I hope it isn't. I kind of enjoy being the Champ, but I will wish you luck, because you are going to NEED it," he said, with a smile on face before he left the ring.

Monolith was holding onto the Kronos Cage Wars Belt as he addressed the crowd before the night's matches started. He had this on his mind:

"Cupid... your man, Olympia, has a shot at THIS Belt tonight," he said, holding up the Cage Wars Belt. "Make no mistake, Olympia is a great athlete. But do you think he's as great as I am? I am a true legend in the sport, no doubt of it. I have victories over everyone that's stepped foot into my ring, from Thantos to Star Warrior. From Chaos to Wolf. From Infinity to Thunder. What chances do you think Olympia has against me?

"I will tell you what chances he has against me: ZERO! I'm the Champion, and I will remain the Champion for a very long time! My hometown will name buildings, streets, and currency after me! Olympia will fade into obscurity where he belongs!

"Olympia, tonight you will not only embarrass yourself, but your manager as well. I don't know who in the Championship Committee thought you were the Number One Contender, but I'm pretty sure they will be fired after I get through with you tonight. After tonight, there won't be anything left of you except a greasy spot!"
