WWC Wrestling Superstars #1 San Juan, Puerto Rico Aug. 8, 2118
Puerto Rico was rabid for wrestling action as the first ever episode of Wrestling Superstars hit the airwaves.
YUKON ERIC def. NIKOLAI VOLKOFF
The opening match quickly had the fans in favor of Yukon Eric. A nice hard-hitting contest saw some action on the outside, which is to be expected in the WWC. Nikita Breznikov couldn't help his man and Yukon Eric won after a big shoulder tackle. Ivan Koloff decided to jump him after the match and the Bolsheviks left him in the ring.
WWC UNIVERSAL TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND
HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN def. PEPPER GOMEZ
The fans like both of these wrestlers, but Duggan took charge right away. His power moves were too much for Gomez. After some big knee drops Duggan took the pin with a piledriver.
PLAYBOY BUDDY ROSE def. ILIO DIPAOLO
The Playboy didn't like the harrassment from the fans, but liked his work in the ring. DiPaolo started out with all the offense, but Rose came back to win with the Bombs Away. The former I-C champion has his eyes on gold in WWC.
BRUISER BRODY def. KING KONG BUNDY
Brody is a hug fan-favorite in Puerto Rico, but Bundy took to the offense early with Larry Sharpe at ringside. Bundy couldn't stop Brody from storming back though. Brody hoisted Bundy up for an incredible body slam and grabbed the three count to advance. Superfly Jimmy Snuka was seen watching this one with an intense look on his face.
IVAN KOLOFF def. FRITZ VON GOERING
The Russian Bear went toe to toe with Von Goering. The crowd wasn't sure who they liked, but soon turned on Koloff. The Russian Bear Hug got the win for Koloff. After the match Yukon Eric ran back out and brawled with Koloff around the ringside area.
DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE def. THE SHEIK
A big upset win for Page and the Monster Factory headed by Larry Sharpe. Page was on fire, and didn't let the Sheik hit him with a fireball. Sheik kicked out after two Diamond Cutters, and manager Abdullah Farouk couldn't help the Sheik this time. Another Diamond Cutter and Page scored the win.
THE CRUSHER def. THE IRON SHEIK
The Crusher enjoyed the love from the fans as he battled the Iron Sheik in and out of the ring. Most of the match was spent on the floor, but the Crusher Bolo put the Iron Sheik away.
KILLER KOWALSKI def. KONNAN
Konnan had some fans in attendance, and gave Kowalski a great match. This one was real even and back and forth. Kowalski came away on top after the Claw.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. SUPERFLY JIMMY SNUKA
Two fan favorites went at it, and Rocca took a big win, eliminating the Superfly. Snuka was very upset after the loss, but was consoled by the fact he'd get a shot at Brody in the upcoming battle royal.

WWC Wrestling Superstars #2 Bayomon, PR Aug. 15, 2118
MISSING LINK def. BRODIE LEE
Lee was unprepared for the assault the Link hit him with. Lee did take a lot of punishment, but managed very little in the way of offense. The Link smashed him with the chair, off the top rope, and won with his head butt. Larry Sharpe smiled broadly as he led the Link away from the ring.
FRITZ VON GOERING def. SANDMAN
Von Goering tore into the Sandman and overwhelmed him offensively, winning with a double sledgehammer. Sir Oliver Humperdink then came out with the Mongols and they put a beat down on the Sandman.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF def. YUKON ERIC
A rematch from last week and this one was even better. A very hard-hitting, knock down drag out that went in and out of the ring. Yukon didn't stop fighting after two times taking the backbreaker drop. Volkoff had to whether the storm but was able to win with his finisher. One more time then Nikita Breznikov and Volkoff put the boots to Eric after the match.
ARIK CANNON/TIMBER def. SAM HAYNE/HARKER DIRGE
ECW stars returned to WWC for week two. Timber and Cannon pounded on Dirge and it was the Glimmering Warlock by Cannon that ended things.
ILIO DIPAOLO def. KING KONG BUNDY
An incredible win by DiPaolo after taking the avalanche in the corner. He rallied and stunned the crowd by using the airplane spion three times to get the win, despite Larry Sharpe trying to interfere.
TERRIBLE TURK def. IRON SHEIK
An interesting contrast of styles here as the Turk took control with his power advantage. The Iron Sheik did have the early momentum but couldn't sustain it. Turk won with a rib crusher, but these two continued fighting after the bell.
KONNAN def. PEPPER GOMEZ
A real solid, even match and Konnan won after the 187 then the Tequila Sunrise. Once more they kept brawling after the match.
JIMMY SNUKA def. THE SHEIK
A spectacular war between these two legends and both were a bloody mess when it was over. Snuka controlled the majority of the fight but couldn't put the Sheik away, who kept carving up the Superfly with his various stabbing utensils. Snuka managed to come out with the win, but Bruiser Brody then leveled them both with the steel chain.
UNIVERSAL TITLE TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINALS
BUDDY ROSE def. JIM DUGGAN
Duggan exploded to start the match, but Rose lived through the spear and big knee drop. Rose turned the match around and nailed Duggan with a foreign object to get the win.
IVAN KOLOFF def. BRUISER BRODY
The new Carribean Hardcore champion added a great win over Brody to his resume. It was another great back and forth fight, but Koloff got the bear hug on for the win.
DALLAS PAGE def. THE CRUSHER
DDP again looked awesome in taking out the Crusher. He repeatedly hit Crusher with all his big moves and advanced to the semifinals. Larry Sharpe called for Bundy and the Link to lay some more hurting on the Crusher but Hacksaw Jim Duggan came in for the save.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. KILLER KOWALSKI
Somehow Rocca pulled a win out of nowhere as Kowalski was beating him all over the place. The claw and knee drop didn't finish off Rocca, and he managed a comeback to win with the Argentinian Backbreaker. (Rocca pin 7

TIMBER def. BRODIE LEE
Timber took over and grabbed the pin after the Log Splitter.
ARIK CANNON def. HARKER DIRGE
Cannon put a stop to Harker's offense and put him away with the Glimmering Warlock.
MISSING LINK def. JIM DUGGAN
The Link nailed Duggan with a huge head butt to pick up the win. The Crusher came in for the save when Larry Sharpe and the Link started for a double team.
SANDMAN def. FRITZ VON GOERING
The Sandman battered Fritz over and over with the Singapore Cane.
PEPPER GOMEZ def. IRON SHEIK
An excellent contest that either could have came away the winner. They went back and forth, in and out of the ring. Gomez got the pinfall after several dropkicks.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF def. TERRIBLE TURK
Volkoff outfought the Turk this time around and beat him with the Backbreaker Drop.
KONNAN def. ILIO DIPAOLO
An excellent and very evenly fought matchup. Konnan took the win after the Tequila Sunrise.
KING KONG BUNDY def. THE CRUSHER by D.Q.
A hard-hitting brawl is what this match was. The Crusher got out of hand with a chair hitting everyone in sight.
KILLER KOWALSKI def. YUKON ERIC
These two renewed an old feud and it was just like old times. An all-out knock down drag out that neither man would stop fighting back. Kowalski picked up the win with the Claw.
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH BRUISER BRODY def. JIMMY SNUKA and the SHEIK
An all-out war that saw all three do everything in their power to destroy the other two. Twice the Sheik knocked Snuka off the top rope. Brody landed the big knee drop on Snuka to get the win.
WWC UNIVERSAL TITLE TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS
BUDDY ROSE def. IVAN KOLOFF
A great match as the Playboy survived against the Carribean Hardcore champion. It was a tough fight all the way to the end. Rose hit the Bomb's Away and then nailed Breznikov before he could do anything. Rose went to the top again with the Bomb's Away for the win.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. DALLAS PAGE
Rocca was just too fast for DDP to keep up with. He flew all around the ring and took the pin after multiple dropkicks.
Coming up on WWC Wrestling Superstars, the next edition will feature the finals of the Universal title tournament between Buddy Rose and Antonino Rocca.
The month of September will feature the WWC North American tag team title tournament. The first round matches have been determined.

SARA DEL REY def. DAIZEE HAZE
The fans were into the first ever womens match in WWC. These two showed they are very evenly matches, but it was Del Rey taking the victory after cross body off the top rope.
SAM HAYNE/HARKER DIRGE def. KILLER BEES
The Bees couldn't come up with a win in their WWC debut. Hayne and Dirge, ECW regulars, looked really good and stayed in control. A double team finished off B. Brian Blair, but both teams will be in the North American tag team title tournament.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF def. PEPPER GOMEZ
The big russian is really building momentum in the singles division here in WWC. He retained the world six-man tag team titles last night at USWA SummerSlam with Koloff and Hackenschmidt. Volkoff beat Gomez with the Backbreaker Drop.
JIM DUGGAN def. MISSING LINK
A rematch from last week when the Link upset Duggan. This was another massive brawl, but Duggan got the win with the Flying Spear and then a big knee drop.
HEARTBREAK EXPRESS def. NAPTOWN DRAGONS
The Heartbreak Express stunned the Naptown Dragons by winning in virutally record time. All four men started fighting and took the melee all the way to the back.
ILIO DIPAOLO def. IRON SHEIK
The Iron Sheik is winless in Puerto Rico. DiPaolo dominated and won with the Airplane Spin.
FRITZ VON GOERING def. BRODIE LEE
Von Goering matched the brawling style of Lee with no trouble. Sir Oliver Humperdink helped make sure he had the upperhand.
KING KONG BUNDY def. THE CRUSHER by D.Q.
Another rematch from last week, this time with the same result. The Crusher was disqualified, but not before standing toe to toe with the big man.
DALLAS PAGE def. KONNAN
These two really had the fans into the match. It went back and forth, before Page won after hitting Konnan off the top rope for the second time.
RUSSIAN CHAIN MATCH WWC CARRIBEAN HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP IVAN KOLOFF (ch) def. YUKON ERIC
The first title defense for Ivan Koloff. Yukon Eric held his own, for a little while anyway. Both men inflicted damage with the steel chain, but Koloff is the master of this match. Yukon Eric was busted wide open, but still fought back. Koloff didn't let him have time to come back and battered him with the chain until getting the three count.
WWC UNIVERSAL TOURNAMENT FINAL ANTONINO ROCCA def. BUDDY ROSE
Rocca gave the fans what they wanted, a title win. Rose had little offense and this one was almost a squash. Rocca was all fired up and after the vicory roll beat Rose with the Argentinian Backbreaker to win the Universal heavyweight championship!

BORIS ZHUKOV def. BUTCHER VACHON
The WWC debut for Boris Zhukov. He immediately took Vachon outside the ring, then a diving headbutt ended the match.
MAD DOG VACHON def. GEORGE STEELE
The Mad Dog didn't have too much trouble with newcomer George "the Animal" Steele. The Mad Dog proved to be the better animal. The two brawled a lot but the piledriver put Steele down.
ONE MAN GANG/KING KONG BUNDY def. PEPPER GOMEZ/ILIO DIPAOLO
The Gang stayed in most of the match and when Bundy came in he immediately landed the Avalanche on DiPaolo. Later in the match he did the same to Gomez for the pin.
IRON SHEIK def. YUKON ERIC
A really good match that went quite awhile and could have gone either way. It seemed like neither wanted to win just to keep on fighting. Finally the Iron Sheik hit Eric with his loaded boot for a second time in the match and was able to get the pin.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. NIKOLAI VOLKOFF
Rocca returns to Puerto Rico without the Universal title after losing it less than a week ago at the Triathlon Survivor Tournament. Volkoff was no opposition this time out as Rocca polished him off with the Argentinian Backbreaker.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE BUDDY ROSE def. MISSING LINK
Playboy Buddy Rose pulled off a real fast win in this one. The fight went outside almost immediately. Rose bashed the Link silly with a chair and won the match. Rose kept up his assault on the Link until the new Universal champion Dallas Page made the save.
LOVE BROTHERS def. MONGOLS
A rematch from last week when the Mongols were disqualified. This time Geeto landed the top rope knee drop early on Hartford Love. The brother duo twice used the double body slam on Bepo to take the win.
THE SHEIK def. JIM DUGGAN by D.Q.
An all-out, non stop wild brawl between these two. They both dished out so much punishment and kept coming back for more. Both were busted open by the time the bell rang. The match ended after Duggan broke the 2x4 over the back of the Sheik causing the disqualification.
CRUSHER def. IVAN KOLOFF
The Crusher stormed right over the Russian Bear. Koloff went down to the Crusher Bolo.
BRUISER BRODY def. FRITZ VON GOERING
Fritz Von Goering has been having success against ECW competition, but not in this one. The Carribean Hardcore champion blasted Von Goering twice with the big knee drop then a piledriver to win the match.
UNIVERSAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP KONNAN def. DALLAS PAGE (ch) by C.O.
These two have had many battles in WWC and this time Konnan got a shot at the title. He didn't care though and only wanted to hurt DDP. Konnan took him outside and piledrove Page on the floor and won by counout.

LOVE BROTHERS def. SAMOAN ISLAND TRIBE
Samu and Alofa really didn't do much at all in this one. The Loves tagged in and out and just kept going to work. Reginald pinned Alofa after an atomic drop.
BRODIE LEE def. THE SHEIK
A big-time upset for Brodie Lee as he beats the Sheik for his first win in WWC. Lee really stood toe to toe with the Sheik in and out of the ring. After some big boots a chokeslam got the three count.
BRUISER BRODY def. GEORGE STEELE
"The Animal" showed his toughness by hanging with Brody the entire match and coming close to beating the Carribean Hardcore champion. Brody would lay into Steele but the Animal kept turning the match around. Brody won after his knee drop but the two battled afterwards all the way to the back.
VACHONS def. ONE MAN GANG/KING KONG BUNDY
The Vachons looked really good in methodically taking down the two big men. The Gang and Bundy had little offense and the Butcher beat Bundy with the Hangman.
IRON SHEIK def. ANTONINO ROCCA
The Iron Sheik with a hard-fought, real big win over the former Universal champion. These two will be in the Takedown Masters Tournament that starts tomorrow. This one went back and forth over and over. The Iron Sheik was really on top of his game though and won with the Camel Clutch.
KONNAN/BUDDY ROSE def. DALLAS PAGE/MISSING LINK
These four have been embroiled in feuds the last few weeks in singles and tags. Both teams had good offense and chances to win. It was Konnan beating the Link with the 187.
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CRUSHER/JIM DUGGAN def. KILLER BEES (ch)
The first title defense since winning the belts two weeks ago in a tournament final. The challengers had a great match in the finals and duplicated that effort. The champs stayed in the match but couldn't slow down their more powerful opponents. Not even pulling off the Masked Confusion switch in the ring helped the Bees. Duggan hit Blair with the Spear and Brunzell came in. They disposed of him and pinned Blair to win the tag team titles.
