WWC Wrestling Superstars #22 Bayamon, Puerto Rico Jan. 9, 2119
The week after the first ever WWC payper view, Wrestling Superstars is back on the air with a double steel cage main event!
BOB ORTON SR. def. S.D. JONES
Two newcomers to Puerto Rico. Jones hasn't been seen in awhile but Orton has been in ICW. Orton controlled things the entire way ending with a big slam.
ONE MAN GANG & KING KONG BUNDY def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS by C.O.
Larry Sharpe's men got a much tougher match from the Davis' then anticipated. The Gang and Bundy dished out tons of punishment, but the Express stayed in the match with several chances to win it. Finally the Gang crushed Sean Davis against the turnbuckle on the outside and he was counted out.
VACHONS def. KONNAN & IRON SHEIK
The Vachons reform and tore right through the Iron Sheik and Konnan. Mad Dog piledrove the Sheik and came off the top for the pin.
BOB ARMSTRONG def. BUDDY ROSE
Bullet Bob moves to Puerto Rico from ICW. He and the playboy had a good match that Armstrong came out on top of with an atomic drop. Konnan and the Iron Sheik came back out to "welcome" Armstrong to Puerto Rico.
NECRO BUTCHER & ARIK CANNON def. YUKON ERIC & BRODIE LEE
Last week Necro and Cannon jumped their opponents at Eurphoria after they had just wrestled. Lee never made a tag as both Necro and Cannon came off the top for the pin.
SANDMAN def. IVAN KOLOFF
The Sandman attacked the Russian Bear last week. This was another great brawl with Koloff using his chains and each man fighting on the floor. Sandman came back to win with the singapore cane.
STEEL CAGE MATCH TERRIBLE TURK def. MISSING LINK
The Link keeps coming back for more from the Turk. The Link was just slammed over and over into the cage and then the Turk won with the stranglehold.
STEEL CAGE MATCH NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MONGOLS def. JIM DUGGAN & CRUSHER (ch)
Yet another war between these four men. It seemed like the champs were heading to another victory, but the match kept going back and forth. The Mongols used the chains on both opponents and eventually put the Crusher down for good to capture the gold.
For three months and six days the Crusher and Hacksaw had been the tag team champions, making five title defenses.

WWC Wrestling Superstars #23 San Juan, Puerto Rico Jan. 16, 2119
MISSING LINK def. S.D. JONES
It was all S.D. at the start as he looked to grab the upset. The Link turned it around and won with the flying head butt.
BUTCHER VACHON def. BOB ORTON SR.
A very long, back and forth battle here. Neither could hold onto the upperhand for very long. Butcher got his Hangman applied once and that's all it took.
BRODIE LEE fought NECRO BUTCHER to a DOUBLE D.Q.
Another long fight. Nobody could control these two and they just stayed on the outside trying to kill each other and the bell rang.
ARIK CANNON def. YUKON ERIC
A big win for the youngster. It was all Eric for quite awhile but Cannon kept finding an opening for his exploder suplex. After a third time with that move he hit the Glimmering Warlock for the win.
ONE MAN GANG & KING KONG BUNDY def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS by D.Q.
Last week the Gang and Bundy won by countout. This time around they again pounded on the two Davis boys, but they double teamed the Gang on the floor with steel chairs.
KONNAN def. BOB ARMSTRONG
Bullet Bob beat Konnan's fellow Foreign Legion member Buddy Rose. This week he took on the leader and turned in a real good match. Konnan came away the winner after the Tequila Sunrise, and Rose came in to work him over until the Crusher made the save!
CRUSHER def. BUDDY ROSE
The Crusher beat on the Playboy all around the ring and on the outside until winning with the Crusher Bolo.
IRON SHEIK def. JIM DUGGAN
A great battle here between two men that have gone toe to toe many times before. This was an all-out knock down drag out fight. The Iron Sheik finally got the Camel Clutch on to win the match.
SANDMAN def. IVAN KOLOFF
Another rematch after the Sandman beat the Russian Bear last week. He did it again this week by totally dominating the match. Koloff couldn't slow the Sandman down and was pinned after the singapore cane.
OX BAKER & TERRIBLE TURK def. ANTONINO ROCCA & DALLAS PAGE
Universal champ Ox Baker and his henchman the Turk faced off against two former WWC champions. Baker is on top of the wrestling world having beaten the Destroyer for the U.S. title. Rocca was isolated and worked over mercilessly until the Heart Punch ended the match.

WWC Wrestling Superstars #24 Carolina, Puerto Rico Jan. 23, 2119
MISSING LINK def. BOB ORTON SR.
A real stiff, back and forth fight. Orton tried to use the top rope but missed and the Link took the pinfall.
IVAN KOLOFF def. BUTCHER VACHON
The Russian Bear obliterated the Butcher with his steel chain. Koloff battered Vachon over and over until the man stopped moving and then took the pin. Mad Dog Vachon tried to get his hands on the Russian Bear but Koloff escaped.
YUKON ERIC def. ARIK CANNON
A rematch from last week. This time Eric needed little time to put away the youngster with a power slam.
NECRO BUTCHER def. BRODIE LEE
These two went to a double D.Q. last week. Another real brutal fight ensued and Necro found barbed wire under the ring and used it to his advantage.
ONE MAN GANG & KING KONG BUNDY def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS
For the last two weeks these teams have battled it out with the Gang and Bundy winning by countout and D.Q. This encounter turned out to be the best actual tag team match between the four men. The huge duo of the Gang and Bundy were on top most of the way. The Gang missed his splash twice. Bundy splashed Phil Davis to finally get the pin.
TERRIBLE TURK def. MAD DOG VACHON
The Turk was all over Mad Dog who was not focused on the match and kept looking for Ivan Koloff. The Turk and his Stranglehold put the Mad Dog down.
IRON SHEIK def. BOB ARMSTRONG
Bullet Bob has been taking on Konnan's Foreign Legion since coming to Puerto Rico this month. The Iron Sheik needed no time at all to win with a Boston crab.
JIM DUGGAN & CRUSHER def. KONNAN & BUDDY ROSE
The former North American tag team champions were in a lot of trouble early on. The hardcore tactics of Duggan and the Crusher carried them to another win. After a long brawl the Crusher downed Konnan with a stomach claw, but the Iron Sheik came in for a three on two attack.
ANTONINO ROCCA, PEPPER GOMEZ & ILIO DIPAOLO def. OX BAKER & MONGOLS
Ox Baker, the U.S. and WWC Universal champion, and the new North American tag team champions have been on a huge roll of late. Pepper Gomez slowed that down just a little with a quick pin of Bepo coming off the ropes.

WWC Wrestling Superstars #25 Rio Grande, Puerto Rico Jan. 30, 2119
JIM DUGGAN & CRUSHER def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS
The former North American tag team champions dominated the matchup. The match went awhile though before a spear by Duggan and the Crusher Bolo downed Sean Davis.
IVAN KOLOFF def. MISSING LINK
The Russian Bear ran in and destroyed the Link. First it was a huge clothesline, then he leveled him with the chain for the pin.
BOB ARMSTRONG def. BUDDY ROSE
Bullet Bob took a second win over the Playboy. These two had a really good match though. Everything was real even but Armstrong got the sleeper on for the win.
ARIK CANNON & NECRO BUTCHER def. YUKON ERIC & BRODIE LEE
These four have been battling it out since the New Year at WWC Euphoria. Another grueling, hardcore matchup. Necro Butcher was hammered over and over but finally made a tag. Cannon kept things going against both men, coming off the top and beating Lee with the Glimmering Warlock.
THE SHEIK def. THE SANDMAN
Fans were ready for a very serious hardcore battle between these two. The Sheik was DDTed twice but is too tough to go down early in the match. The Sandman pulled out all the stop but missed off the top rope and the Camel Clutch ended the match.
IRON SHEIK def. MAD DOG VACHON
Another great contest between two of the top ranked WWC wrestlers. A lot of back and forth action. The Iron Sheik used the Camel Clutch to secure the win.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. KONNAN
The leader of the Foreign Legion gave Rocca a great fight but couldn't come up with the win. Rocca won with the Argentinian Backbreaker.
PUERTO RICAN STREET FIGHT CARRIBEAN HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP BRUISER BRODY (ch) def. TERRIBLE TURK
Brody and the Sheik made their in-ring return after injuries sustained at Euphoria and the month long series of hardcore matchups they went through at the Royal Rumble two days ago. Brody came back to Puerto Rico for this title defense. The Turk has been very good of late as Ox Baker's right-hand man. These two are great brawlers and spent a lot of time on the floor before Brody won with the jumping knee drop.

WWC Wrestling Superstars #26 Las Piedras, Puerto Rico Feb. 6, 2119
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block C
GRAN AKUMA def. DANNY DORING
Gran Akuma has been great so far and remained undefeated so far in the tournament. Doring has yet to win a match. Akuma was in charge, with dives to the outside and a top rope cross body for the pin.
BRYAN DANIELSON def. J.D. MICHAELS
The American Dragon and J.D. Michaels turned one crazy, out of control match. Both men took to the air and the outside to try and control the match. Neither man could utilize their finisher but Danielson finally won with a cross armbreaker.
CHRIS CANDIDO def. TRENT ACID
Candido stayed on top most of the way. Tammy helped him set Acid up for the Blond Bomb but he only got a two count. After coming off the top Candido used the Blond Bomb again to win the match.
BILLY RED LYONS def. BOBBY EATON
A gigantic win for Lyons to keep his hopes alive of advancing. Eaton and Cornette had Lyons in a lot of trouble for a long time. Then Lyons came to life and these two thrilled the crowd as if the World Jr. title was on the line. Lyons pulled out the win by catching Eaton off the top rope and grabbing the three count.
Standings 1. Gran Akuma 8 pts. 2. Chris Candido 6 Bryan Danielson 6 3. Billy Red Lyons 4 4. Bobby Eaton 4 5. Trent Acid 2 J.D. Michaels 2 6. Danny Doring 0
NAPTOWN DRAGONS def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS
After the great action from the MWE, the Puerto Rico regulars hit the ring. The Naptown Dragons easily wiped the mat with the Heartbreak Express.
MAD DOG VACHON def. BOB ORTON SR.
Two veterans of the ring went at it in this matchup. The two wrestled a long time and pretty even, but Vachon finally planted Orton with the piledriver for the win.
NECRO BUTCHER & ARIK CANNON def. PEPPER GOMEZ & ILIO DIPAOLO
A totally unbelievable tag team match here as the new duo of Butcher and Cannon move away for a week from wrestling Yukon Eric and Brodie Lee to take on one of the top tag teams in Puerto Rico and Mexico. Gomez and DiPaolo were all over both men and in absolute total control of the match. They couldn't finish them off though and the match kept going and going. Butcher and Cannon were both down and out but fought back. Necro got the Tiger Driver on Gomez and pulled off the great win (Necro 5 coins, Cannon 3 coins; Gomez 3 coins, DiPaolo 2 coins).
BUTCHER VACHON def. TERRIBLE TURK
It looked like the Turk was going to take care of things in this one. After a trip to the floor, the Butcher had him over the ropes choking him out. Vachon made the cover and used the ropes for leverage to get the pin.
FOREIGN LEGION def. JIM DUGGAN, CRUSHER, & DALLAS PAGE
A very long, incredible back and forth battle as the Foreign Legion of Konnan, Iron Sheik and Buddy Rose have a waiting list of people wanting to get them in the ring. This was just an awesome six-man tag. The Foreign Legion made the save and intereferred late in the match. That allowed the Iron Sheik to put the Camel Clutch on Duggan, but he would not submit. After a loaded boot, a powerslam on Duggan ended the match.
THE SHEIK def. THE SANDMAN
For the second week in a row these two hardcore specialists battled it out. The Sheik won a brutal contest last week. He won another one this week but the Sandman showed he can go this style with anybody in the world. The Sandman seemingly had the match won after using the cane and then three consecutive DDTs. The Sheik didn't let the three count happen though. He fought back and the Fire Ball ended the match.
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ONE MAN GANG & KING KONG BUNDY def. MONGOLS (ch) by D.Q.
Just over a week ago these two fought over the belts on USWA Glory. This one matched that one for brutality and intensity. The Gang missed the 747 splash after he and the Gang had double sandwiched one of the Mongols on the floor. Humperdink's men got tired of not being able to beat either man and were disqualified after a long double team as well as bringing chains and chairs into the ring.
WWC UNIVERSAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ANTONINO ROCCA def. OX BAKER (ch)
The long and unexpected run by Ox Baker came to an abrupt end. Rocca exploded at the start of the match and would not be denied in becoming a three-time Universal champion. Humperdink twice had to save Baker but he couldn't stop Rocca's attack. Rocca was too much and after another flurry of moves put Baker down to win the title.

Another solid show. A bit bummed that Ox dropped the title but Antonino Rocca is a force to be reckoned with. Love the pairing of Necro Butcher & Arik Cannon and that sounded like a great tag match with Gomez & DiPaolo. Cool to see Gran Akuma faring so well in Block C particularly with such tough competition.

I am surprised to a degree that Akuma hasn't lost yet. I think all his matches were tough, good ones that he very well could have lost. So far he's come out on top. MWE is next up as all the cruiserweights return for the fifth match in their respective blocks.
I was also a little put out that Ox lost. He is still the U.S. champion so the USWA is trying to get him back to defend the title.

I'm really enjoying the multi-block light heavyweight title tournament. All I can say about Ox is "Go Ox Go" I'll have to check out your USWA fed to see if he returns.

WWC Wrestling Superstars #27 Humacao, Puerto Rico Feb. 13, 2119
HEARTBREAK EXPRESS def. YUKON ERIC & BRODIE LEE
An unlikely win here given how this match played out. Phil Davis was literally pummeled senseless but made a tag after a long time in the ring. From there the teams went back and forth with plenty of pinfalls. The Express pulled out a win with the Heartbreaker on Lee.
ARIK CANNON & NECRO BUTCHER def. JIM DUGGAN & CRUSHER by D.Q.
A wild and crazy match here that saw Cannon and Necro go toe to toe and actually control the match against the former North American tag team champions. Duggan was busted open by Necro Butcher. Both men used their finishers on Duggan and the Crusher. Duggan finally lost control and battered his assailants with the two x four.
BOB ORTON SR. def. BOB ARMSTRONG
Orton snaps a month-long losing streak after violently piledriving Armstrong two times in a row.
PEPPER GOMEZ & ILIO DIPAOLO def. SHEIK & TERRIBLE TURK
Gomez and DiPaolo were in charge of the Turk, tagging in and out. Finally the Turk got to the outside and the Sheik joined him in attacking DiPaolo and the bell rang.
IVAN KOLOFF def. DALLAS PAGE
The Russian Bear was all business and gave DDP a heck of a beating. Page always battles back but could not derail Koloff and the match ended with the bear hug.
FOREIGN LEGION def. BRUISER BRODY, MAD DOG VACHON, MISSING LINK
A very brutal see saw fight between these six men. The Link was hammered down, but his side turned it around and gave it to the Iron Sheik. Back and forth they went until Konnan downed Brody with a pair of Tequila Sunrises.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. DANNY HODGE
A rematch from this past weekend in Mexico between the WWC Universal heavyweight champion and the NWA World Jr. heavyweight champion. It was another great one that Rocca really dominated. Hodge was determined not to lose again and fought and scrapped to stay alive, not giving up to the Argentinian Backbreaker on two occasions. Rocca maintained the edge and finally beat Hodge with his finisher.
STEEL CAGE MATCH NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MONGOLS (ch) def. ONE MAN GANG & KING KONG BUNDY
For a month these teams have gone to war over the North American tag team titles. The Mongols have held on to the belts in Puerto Rico and the United States with matches in the USWA and ECW. The Gang missed his 747 and the Mongols landed the Mongolian Drop for the huge win.
