I got this book for Christmas. I'm a big fan of Dick Bourne's other books, including "Ten Pound of Gold", "Big Gold" and "The Mid-Atlantic Championship". As with his other "belt" books, Bourne examines both the history of the physical title itself, along with the people who held the championship during their title reigns. It's a unique concept that I've only seen otherwise used by the late Roger Deem's "The Strap".
This book has a lot of great historic info, especially about the Thesz to Hutton to O'Connor title changes, and how this belt came (or didn't come) into play. There's also some interesting info about Buddy Rogers' WWWF championship belt too! Highly recommended!

Interesting era for sure including the last run of Thesz and Dory's reign. Would be interesting to read. Enjoy it.
