Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first show of Imperial Championship Wrestling’s new program, this is
ICW INTENSITY!
The slow opening tones of Metallica’s “Ecstacy of Gold” hit as the stylized graphic for ICW Intensity fades into view. As the guitars begin, clips of members of the ICW Roster play. The Macho Man Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Stan Hansen, Big Van Vader, Diamond Dallas Page, The Road Warriors, D’Lo Brown, Rob Van Dam and more flash across the screen and the picture turns to the arena.
Straight off the heels of ICW’s first big show, ICW Inauguration, we’re here for the debut of ICW Intensity! Tonight, we’ll see The tag team champions, the Road Warriors! The Contender’s champion, Roddy Piper is here! The ICW Heavyweight champion, the Macho Man Randy Savage will be with us as well!
We’re going to the ring for our first match!
Rob Van Dam
vs
D’Lo Brown
The match takes no time getting started! Rob Van Dam starts off with a flurry of fast offense. RVD starts going after D’Lo with a series of forearm shots, backing D’Lo into the ropes and flinging him to the far side of the ring. On the return, Van Dam hits a spin kick and drops Brown. Van Dam drops a spinning legdrop, then comes to his feet. D’Lo comes up shakily, and RVD shoves him into the corner, then whips him to the opposite turnbuckles. Van Dam runs, leaps, and rolls back, flinging D’Lo with a monkey flip. RVD attempts to land a split-legged moonsault, but D’Lo gets the knees up.
D’Lo pulls himself up by the ropes while RVD gets up slowly, holding his back. Brown runs over RVD with a shoulder block, pulls RVD up and drops him with a back suplex. D’Lo continues his offense with a back body drop and a back elbow. D’Lo lifts Van Dam with a body slam, but RVD slips over Brown’s shoulder and runs to the turnbuckles.
RVD takes flight with a cross body block, but D’Lo catches him across the shoulders and plants Van Dam with a Samoan Drop. With Van Dam down, D’Lo takes flight himself, landing with a moonsault and the pin! The winner,
D’Lo Brown!

youtu.be/c_0bhT98g9YUp next, we go to the locker room for a message from the ICW Tag Team champions, the Road Warriors!
The Road Warriors slam the lockers shut and turn to the camera.
Animal: The Road Warriors are the ICW Tag Team Champions because we tore our way through the competition! At ICW Inauguration, we took to the warpath through the tournament of the other top teams in this company and proved that we are the unstoppable force! So, Bruiser Brody and King Kong Bundy, as big as you are, you are not the immovable object! You can’t stop the hurricane, and you can’t grapple the tornado that is the Road Warriors! Tell ‘em Hawk!
Hawk: While you might be the number one contenders to the Road Warriors, that does not mean that you are ready for the forces you are reckoning with! As big as you are, you’re a challenge we look forward to! If we could take on King Kong, we’d do it with a smile on our faces! Later tonight, King Kong Bundy, you’ll face me in the ring, and you’re going to stand in for the giant gorilla. And just like the movies, I’m going to put you to the ground! YEEEEAH WHAT A RUSH!
We’re heading back to the ring for our next match!
Val Venis
vs
Disco Inferno
Val Venis takes his time making his entrance, playing out his towel removal and banter with the crowd. When Disco makes his entrance, he looks to check his watch at the beginning of his entrance. He stops as he goes to dance in the entryway, at ringside, at the turnbuckles, then stops at the middle of the ring, checks his watch, and dances again to make sure his entrance goes longer than Val’s did.
Val doesn’t take kindly to this. He grabs Disco and turns him around to hit him with a hard right hand. Disco actually ducks under the punch, runs to the rope, and comes back to knock Val down with a running clothesline! Disco puts the boots into Val’s stomach as he comes up, then fires away with right hands of his own. He pulls Val to his feet, then fires Venis into the ropes. Val comes back with a shoulder block of his own, hits Disco with forearm shivers and a huge DDT. When Disco comes to his feet, Val takes the opportunity to throw Disco into the ropes and when Disco comes back, Val is set up for a back body drop.
Disco manages to put on the brakes, catch Val in a standing headscissors, and drop him with a piledriver! They’re both laying on the mat, and Val rolls under the bottom rope to the outside. Disco slowly pulls himself together and goes out after him. Val is leaned against the ringpost and Disco comes at him, picking up speed. But Val collapses to the floor and dodges, and Disco hits the post at speed!
The two men are on the floor on the outside, trying to recover. At a count of 7, they both finally manage to get back into the ring. The two are slowly getting to their feet and turn to each other. They begin trading blows, right hands, back and forth. Val Venis gets the upper hand, landing three shots in succession, then kicking Disco Inferno in the gut and drops him with a fisherman’s suplex. Both are getting up slowly, but Val is doing a little better. He lands more forearm shots, then shoots Disco into the ropes, but on the return, Disco grabs Val and lands a facebuster across the knee before going around Val and leaping into a jumping facebuster. He grabs a pinfall for 1, 2, KICKOUT. Disco Inferno gets to his feet, frustrated, but strikes a pose, then grabs Val for another piledriver and the pin. The winner is
Disco Inferno!

youtu.be/0xzN6FM5x_EBack from the break, it’s time to hear from the first
ICW Heavyweight Champion!
youtu.be/DGkybFKvnYcThe
Macho Man Randy Savage takes the ring, carrying the ICW Heavyweight title. He’s handed a microphone by the ring announcer and turns a slow circle to look out to the crowd.
“OHHHHH YEAH, the Macho Man is here!” he begins. “I stand before you tonight, a proud man. I hold in my hands, a prize that had two brackets of men fighting to hold it. I came to Imperial Championship Wrestling because I saw an opportunity to build not just a new Kingdom of Madness, but an Empire, yeah!” He pauses for a moment, listening to the crowd. “As the inaugural Heavyweight Champion, I know that this title will have the legacy that is built, and I will build a legacy worthwhile of the Macho Man Randy Savage! I fought my way through the tournament, yeah, like cream of the crop, I rose to the TOP… of the mountain. But I want this title to have a history of SUCCESS and QUALITY! So, I challenge for the number one contender, Roddy Piper, to face me at the upcoming ICW Showcase! DIG IT!”
youtu.be/GQDOjPkECHYTo the sound of fief and drum,
Roddy Piper walks down the entryway, stopping about halfway. The
Contender’s Title is belted around his waist and he has his own mic in hand. “Macho Man, it’s true that I’m the number one contender, but you don’t seem to grasp something. As the Contender’s champion, I don’t have to face you at Showcase.” Piper pauses and smirks while the crowd boos. “The Contender’s Champion decides when he will be having his match against the champion, not the champion! I get to say when and where I’ll get to have my match, Macho Man, and I’m not going to let you back me into a corner! You seem to think that you can throw weight around for these decisions, but I got news for ya! You’re not one of the decision makers! You don’t work in the office! You can’t MAKE the match HAPPEN! Only I get to decide that!” Piper grins amid another shower of boos. “So, I don’t know what you’re going to do at Showcase, but it won’t be facing me!”
SELF HIGH FIVE
youtu.be/J9VnChs9Q_gPiper’s head whips towards the entryway, while in the ring, Savage smiles and gestures. Piper starts shaking his head.
Diamond Dallas Page steps out on the ramp, Piper equally between himself and Randy Savage. He stares at Piper, leaning slightly to one side to look at Savage and shoot him a grin. Page is handed a mic of his own. “Ya know what, Rod?” DDP says. “You’re right.” Piper shouts back at Page, gesturing for him to turn around. “The Heavyweight Champion does not get to decide when the Contender’s champion has his title shot. That’s your prerogative. But here’s the thing, I DID talk to the guys in the office. See, since I’m the number one contender to YOUR title, I do have a match at Showcase. You and me for that gold around your waist.” Page smiles as Piper starts getting upset. “Funny thing about the Contender’s title. The title shot you get for it? If you lose that belt before you get that title shot? They’re both gone.” DDP pulls some papers out of his back pocket. “What I got here is a signed contract for me to challenge the Contender’s Champion at Showcase. It’s funny, Rod, that you’re wanting to hold off on getting that title shot. It might be gone, and you’ll never see it coming.”
We head to break as Piper howls in outrage and Savage smiles and nods in satisfaction.

youtu.be/RwM0aMetZ9kBack from break, it’s time for our main event of the evening!
King Kong Bundy
Vs
Hawk
Brody and Bundy enter together first, taking their time. When the two of them reach the ring, they make sure their heavy footfalls sound through the ring. The Road Warriors enter together, walking shoulder to spiked shoulder and the ICW Tag Team titles around their waists. When they reach the ring, they stare down the other two men. Bundy turns to Brody and talks for a moment. Brody points at himself and Animal, then to the back. Animal nods and fist bumps with Hawk. While Hawk removes his shoulder pads and belt, Animal and Brody are making their way to the back without ever taking their eyes off each other.
With the bell, Hawk and Bundy collide. Hawk is throwing more punches, but Bundy is hitting hard. Hawk runs to the ropes and hits a shoulder block, but Bundy laughs, slaps his shoulder and tells Hawk to do it again. Hawk comes off the ropes with a big clothesline and Bundy laughs again. Hawk again hits the ropes, but dodges around Bundy and comes back with another clothesline that staggers the big man. Hawk starts using mobility to move around Bundy, peppering the big man with punches, elbows and kicks. That is, until Bundy gets his hands on Hawk and flings him with a big hip toss across the ring. When Hawk gets back up, Bundy flings him again. Bundy pulls Hawk up, but Hawk kicks Bundy in the knee, then grabs his head, pivots, and pitches Bundy through the ropes to the outside.
On the outside, Hawk gets a head of steam, comes around the corner, and hits Bundy with a big clobbering strike over the top of the head. Bundy is staggered while Hawk continues the offense, but shoves hard, pushing Hawk into the ringpost. Hawk drops to his knees in pain and Bundy throws him back in the ring. Bundy isn’t quick to follow, trying to shake the cobwebs before he climbs back in. He pulls Hawk up and throws him into the ropes, but Hawk comes back with a flying shoulder block, knocking Bundy down. Hawk climbs to the top rope, and when Bundy manages to get to his feet, Hawk takes off with a top rope diving clothesline, knocking Bundy to the ground and catching the pin! The winner is
Road Warrior Hawk!
That’s all for this show, we’ll catch you next time!
