Chat?

There is a "Chat" room on this Board (as you can see above to the right of "Messages". Question: Does anyone ever use it?

Another question: If not, is it going to remain there (it seems pretty OBSOLETE to me)?

I never really thought about it. I clicked it and there was no chat room or anything like that there. Just banners and a link to remove banners.
