Welcome to TGW: Total Glory Wrestling. The Future is Now as the best up-and-coming independent talent battle to determine who will get the glory and who will be left with nothing but shattered dreams! Live from the National Guard Armory in Piqua, OH THE TGW Championship Tournament!!!opening round- TRENT ACID upset Delirious, winning with the ACID BOMB in just over five minutes. - DRAKE YOUNGER beat Ricky Landell with DRAKE'S LANDING in an exciting bout. Landell almost won early, but Drake made a comeback and took the win. - MIKE QUACKENBUSH defeated JD Michaels with a running palm strike to stave off the upset. JD was angry after the decision, claiming he raised his shoulder before the three count. - ARIK CANNON broke out the BURNING HAMMER to defeat Chris Hero and earn a spot in the next round. - HARKER DIRGE beat Larry Sweeney following a jumping knee drop in the best match of the opening round. - Fabulous Phil Davis defeated Diehard Dustin Lee after using a foreign object. Lee lived up to his name and withstood three piledrivers and several pin attempts in a row before Davis resorted to breaking out the brass knucks to keep him down. - JOHNNY KASHMERE upset Claudio Castagnoli, winning with a CRADLE BREAKER. Claudio dominated early, but couldn't get the pin with the RICOLA BOMB. Claudio used the Alpamare Waterslide but did not go for the pin. Instead, he got careless and tossed Kashmere into the ropes for a backdrop. Kashmere used a sunset flip for a near fall and hit the CRADLE BREAKER after that to take the big win. - NECRO BUTCHER beat Adam Pearce in the main event of the opening round. The match went all over the ring and ringside area, in typical Necro fashion. Pearce handed out a horrendous beating to Necro, but the Butcher would not stay down. In the end Necro moved out of the way of an avalanche and delivered a beatdown in the corner before dragging Pearce to center ring to get the win. Notes: Claudio, Hero, and Delirious were considered three of the favorites going into the tournament, but find themselves on the outside looking in as the second round begins. JD Michaels, not considered a favorite anywhere but in his own mind, has promised that Quackenbush and the entire TGW will pay for the "unfair treatment" he has received. Pairings for round two: Trent Acid vs. Drake Younger Mike Quackenbush vs. Arik Cannon Harker Dirge vs. Phil Davis Johnny Kashmere vs. Necro Butcher

Total Glory Wrestling The Future Is NOW! "The Quest For Glory" Dayton, OHJD Michaels came to the ring before the opening bout. Firstly, he insulted the ring announcer and demanded that he be called by his REAL name, a name fitting of the NEXT TGW champion, from now on. He walked away and told the announcer to try again. This time the ring announcer introduced him as JD MAVERICK and the arrogant Maverick strutted down to the ring. He told everyone in attendance that they would see history made tonight as Mike Quackenbush became the shortest reigning champion since Andre handed over the belt to DiBiase in '88. He said Lightning Mike was lucky once, but lightning won't strike twice and the man with all the glory at the end will be JD MAVERICK. - Delirious beat Ricky Landell with Chemical Imbalance. Both men fought hard in an attempt to atone for poor performances in the title tournament and climb the ladder in TGW, but Delirious had just a little more in the tank at the end and hit Shadows Over Hell to set up his finisher and the win. - Naptown Dragons beat Heartbreak Express with Kiss of the Dragon on Sean. This match was a display of everything good about tag team wrestling. Both teams worked extremely hard, with the Express enraging the fans by cutting off the ring and using underhanded double-team tactics on Dustin to nearly steal the win. In the end, Lee fought back and made the tag. Vortekz came in and cleaned house, setting up the win with one of the Dragons' big finishers. The Backseat Boyz came out for Trent's singles match and drew the ire of the fans. The referee in charge, much to the crowds' delight, said Kashmere did not have a manager's license and ordered him to leave. Kashmere tried to argue, but Harker Dirge rushed out, steel chain in hand, and chased Kashmere away. Acid attacked Dirge from behind and the match got underway. - Harker Dirge beat Trent Acid with DIRT NAP. Acid started strong, but was quickly put away with the DIRT NAP. After the decision Johnny Kashmere raced out with a baseball bat and attacked Dirge from behind. After the damage was done Kashmere grabbed a mic and said that Dirge may wear bats on his ring gear, but they call him "the batman" for a whole different reason, raising the bat in the air as he finished his thought. The Backseat Boyz took off to a resounding chorus of boos as Dirge struggled to recover. - Adam Pearce beat Necro Butcher with Jumping Piledriver. Pearce gained a measure of revenge for the loss in the title tournament, winning a very close, very physical encounter. - IN the main event, JD Maverick won by DQ over Mike Quackenbush in a TGW title match. The match devolved into a brawl on floor. Maverick rolled back into the ring to escape the beating Quackenbush had delivered and pulled out brass knucks as the ref argued with the champ over his actions on the floor. JD rushed to attack Quackenbush with the knucks as he got back into the ring, but Mike countered and kicked JD in the stomach, knocking the knucks out of JD's hand in the process. Quackenbush picked them up and hit JD in retalitation. Quackenbush went for the cover and the ref began to count the fall before seeing the knucks on Mike's hand. The referee immediately called for the bell and awarded the bout to the challenger as a result of a disqualification. Maverick rolled to the floor and, still in pain, celebrated his win as Lightning Mike argued his actions with the referee to no avail.

Total Glory Wrestling The Future Is Now! No Guts, No GloryMiddletown High School, Middletown, OH TGW Champion Mike Quackenbush stepped into the ring to start the show. He recapped what happened on the last show in Dayton and said everybody knows he wouldn't stoop to cheating like that to beat JD Maverick and that he wants to be known as an honest, fighting champion. That's why he wanted to give Maverick a rematch tonight and put any controversy to rest. After that JD Maverick came to the ring to confront Quackenbush. He said everybody knows that Middletown Ohio is the hometown of Charlie Root, the all-time career wins leading pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. But Root also threw the pitch that Babe Ruth predicted he would hit into the seats in the 1932 World Series. And, just like Babe Ruth, JD said he's calling his shot tonight: when all's said and done, he predicted, the "top rope elbow drop heard round the world" will put Quackenbush down for the count and the TGW championship is going home with him. JD stood nose-to-nose with Quackenbush and, after a brief staredown, slapped him in the face. That set off a brawl that sent refs and security guards racing to the ring to break apart. After the situation was settled, the action got underway. - Delirious beat Larry Sweeney w/Chemical Imbalance. This match got things started out right, as Sweeney's mouth and underrated skills worked the crowd into a frenzy. The fans cheered Delirious on to victory, as he moved out of the way of a Sweeney dive off the buckles, then used the Chemical Imbalance to pick up the win. - Ricky Landell beat Drake Younger in a wild and competitive match. Both men looked impressive in trying to score a much-needed win to get to the next level in TGW. Landell had just a little bit more in the tank at the end and picked up the win with his Fisherman Buster. Trent Acid came to ring w/Johnny Kashmere for Kashmere's bout with Harker Dirge. The ref tried to send Acid to the back like he did to Kashmere on the previous show, but Acid presented an "official Ohio state wrestling manager's license" and was begrudgingly permitted to stay. - Johhny Kashmere beat Harker Dirge thanks to interference by Acid. Dirge had the match won and went for the pin, but Acid reached in from outside of the ring and poked Dirge in the eye to break the pin. Dirge got up dazed and turned around into the CRADLE BUSTER for the cheap 3-count. After the decision The Backseat Boyz retreated to the back with their tainted win. Dirge took the mic and said that one-on-one he knew he wouldn't have any trouble demolishing either one of the Backseat Boyz. Since they insist on doing everything as a team though, Dirge stated that he would bring a partner to the next show and see if they're still tough when the sides are even, or if they'd just curl up in a little ball in the backseat and snuggle together like they're used to. - Necro Butcher beat Adam Pearce. Necro didn't waste any time getting down to business in this escelating rivalry in TGW. He ran out and attacked from behind in the aisle during Pearce's intro. They brawled to the ring where Necro took over and put the match away after delivering a savage beatdown. - Lightning Mike Quackenbush defeated JD Maverick by countout in a TGW title match. JD was determined to win and put forth a tremendous effort, much to the chagrin of the decidely pro-Quackenbush crowd. JD kicked out of the Quackendriver 3 times. JD rolled out of the ring to catch a breather, but Quack did a bodypress from the top rope to the floor. JD couldn't get back into the ring and was counted out. Quackenbush addressed the crowd once again to close the show. As Maverick attempted to steady himself on the floor, Quackenbush said that was not the way he wanted to win. He told the fans they deserved better and that, instead of settling the controversy, they just added to it. He said that, if the championship committee agrees, he'd love to face JD Maverick one more time and make sure the fans get a clear-cut winner. The fans cheered in approval and Maverick accepted the match, telling Quackenbush that it was a challenge he'd live to regret.

Total Glory Wrestling The Future Is Now! National Guard Armory Piqua, OH- Drake Younger beat Larry Sweeney w/Drake's Landing. SWEENEY was introduced, took the mic, and began to insult Younger, saying the only thing worse than an Ohio State Buckeye was an Indiana Hoosier. He questioned what a Hoosier was, and said it was just like Drake's last big win: a figment of someone's imagination. Drake had heard enough, rushed the ring, and the fight was on. Sweeney gave Younger all he could handle, but Drake got the decisive win in the end by using DRAKE'S LANDING. After the bout Sweeney warned that he'd be back and he is bringing back-up next time. - Arik Cannon won by DQ over Delirious. This bout never really got started before it became a brawl on the floor. Delirious grabbed a baseball cap from a ringside fan and began whipping Arik with it before putting it on his head. The ref tried to retrieve the cap and Delirious shoved him away, bringing on the disqualification. Cannon climbed back into the ring and challenged Delirious to bring the fight back in, but Delirious was too distracted and chased the ref to the back instead. - Necro Butcher beat Ricky Landell. Adam Pearce ran out and interferred late in the match, almost costing Necro the win. Necro managed to fight back and use the TIGER DRIVER for the pin. After the bell, Pearce jumped in and attacked Necro, laying him out with a PILEDRIVER. Backseat Boyz beat The Naptown Dragons. The referee was trying to restore order during a team brawl. While he was focused on Kashmere and Lee on the floor, Acid used a low blow on Vortekz to set up the ACID BOMB. The ref turned around and counted the "3" to give the Boyz the win. After the decision Harker Dirge came to the rinside area with a mic in hand. He said the time for talk was over and the time for blood is now. With that proclamation the familiar music of SABU blared over the PA system and the ECW legend joined Dirge in rushing the ring and attacking the Backseat Boyz. Acid threw a punch, but Dirge ducked and locked on the DIRT NAP as Sabu floored Kashmere with a spinning leg lariat. As Dirge kept Acid down Sabu grabbed a chair and performed the Triple Jump Moonsault to finish the beatdown as the fans cheered wildly. -In the main even, JD Maverick beat Lightning Mike Quackenbush to win the TGW championship. This bout started slow, as the champ and challenger went through a "feeling out" process, exchanging holds and counters. Maverick kicked it into high gear, but Quackenbush came back and showed how and why he won the TGW title tournament. However, Maverick was the better man on this day, moving out of the way as Lightning Mike dove off the top rope, then climbing the opposite corner and using his TOP ROPE ELBOW to score the win and become the NEW TGW champion.

Total Glory Wrestling The Future Is Now! National Guard Armory Piqua, OH Lightning Mike Quackenbush came to the ring and thanked the fans for their support. He introduced himself to the TGW fans and said that he is putting together the greatest group of villainy the world has ever known. Ultramantis declared Quackenbush his first victim and said the baddest of the bad would be lining up to join him after his display of power tonight. - Mike Quackenbush easily beat Ultramantis Black, ending it with QUACKENDRIVER III. UMB was unable to mount any offense and ended up making the exact opposite statement than the one he was hoping to deliver, as several fans didn't seem to take him too seriously after the woeful performance.Larry Sweeney came to the ring, full of confidence. He said he'd found just the man to beat Drake Younger and show the "Psycho Shooter" just what toughness and attitude is really all about. Sweeney introduced his latest "contracted assassin", CHUCK TAYLOR. - Drake Younger extended his winning streak by beating Chuck Taylor after a powerful spinebuster slam. Taylor looked good in his debut, and the combatants put on a solid wrestling match. After the decision Taylor rolled out of the ring and headed to the back, leaving Sweeney high and dry. Younger welcomed the challenge and said once he goes through another paid fall guy he's coming after Sweeney. - Brodie Lee defeated Necro Butcher in a quick, lopsided match.
