Hi
I had seen a video on Youtube some time ago about making a dice tower out of a Pringles can. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this, or actually bought and use a dice tower?
I do have the material to make said dice tower, but never got around to making one. I may do that this weekend!
This isn't the exact video I had found before, but you get the idea, here:
Later!

It's funny you brought this up I just bought one off of Amazon a couple of weeks ago. I used to use a shoe box with one end cut out to roll in. The one I got has "Legacy" on it and came in about six pieces and took about 1 minute to put together. I really like it and it takes up alot less room. I put one drop of glue on the connecting pieces to hold it better and it works great. Wish I would have had it years ago.

I have a nice dice tray I bought and use. It has a canal around the sides that I can store quite a few dice in.

I see Dice Tower and I think of the company (which uses dice towers once in a while)

So I did do up that dice tower FINALLY!
I will take a pic of it this weekend and post it. The inside works but isn't pretty, LOL!
The outside... well, I will talk more about that when I post the pic.

So yeah... Here's my dice tower, finally! Sorry for the pic quality, it's the best I could do! I took a Pringles can and made it just like in the video posted. Then I glued it to a corkboard with Elmer's glue after using a permanent marker to color the outside of the box. The tower works, and I should have no problem with it for awhile! To decorate the outside of the Pringles can beforehand, I tore off strips of masking tape and covered the Pringles can with it. I then took a paper towel and smeared the whole thing with shoe polish. Learned to do this in crafts activities as a kid! Took a bit of time to get over the smell of shoe polish though, whew! So that's my dice tower! It works well, at least! Todd C WTIC

That's pretty cool. I wonder how hard it wound be to make one that looks like a ring post with some turnbuckles and segments of ring rope on it.
