I had never checked out a Manders set prior to just a couple months ago after seeing people post about him on here. Definitely glad we are getting him now! I'm sure indy fans are happy but he can fit in well with a Legends fed as well. As his description on the FG main page states, he's very much in the vein of someone like Stan Hansen. Just a big, tough, hard hitting cowboy.

I'm really happy that we're getting Manders in this set. I appreciate his throwback style and look that would have made him a solid territory-era performer, but I also like that he's being represented in his Iowa colors. I teach at UI, but I'm sorry to say that I didn't have him in any of my classes.

Manders is a great guy! It's been cool seeing him evolve with his gimmick over the past few years. I first saw him at a Zero One USA show in 2018 when he was Hawkeye Steve Manders. He's come a long way in a short time. |

I haven't, but they looked interesting. He's wrestled quite a few times for us in IPW. It's great to see home grown talent get chances across the country. |

I haven't gone to any of the Hawk-a-Manias yet. I didn't really get back into indy wrestling until early 2020, and since the pandemic I haven't been looking for shows. Now I see that Manders was here with Benjamin Carter and Shane Hollister also on that card in July, so that would have been a good one. I'll have to check out a future show with him on the card (and some of your IPW shows, of course).

Did Manders team up with Mance Warner? They look like a good pairing 🙂 Yes, they are both members of the Second Gear Crew. When I went to The Collective back in October, 1 Called Manders and Mance Warner teamed with two other Second Gear Crew members in an 8 man tag at Effy's show. |
