I've never seen the WWE for years. And I mean, years.
Then I watched 30 minutes of a highlights show they've recently began showing on UK TV on weekends. I saw Triple H and Stephanie McMahon doing a news sketch, then a stupid match with a female wrestler who starts happy then turns angry (complete with differing costume and make-up). The constantly changing camera angles made me feel nauseous.
Thank goodness there's old stuff on youtube!

Ha, that spastic camera technique is awful. I'm just about in the same way lately. If it wasn't for classic content on WWE Network and shows like Broken Skull Sessions I'd probably barely watch any WWE programming at all.

NXT is so much better than Raw or Smackdown. Storylines that make sense and move along nicely, interesting characters, and more of an old-school feel.

GWF for me all the time. Ya can't beat it. (And you can create your own camera angles.)

NXT is so much better than Raw or Smackdown. Storylines that make sense and move along nicely, interesting characters, and more of an old-school feel. It's got the same camerawork, same rehearsed entrances, same rehearsed promos, same in-ring style dependent on MOVEZ and making boo boo faces for the camera, the same style of announcing, the same style of storytelling, same GM shtick that got old like 15 years ago, same type of shitty characters you'd find on the main roster (Dexter Lumis, looking squarely at you). There's really nothing "old school" about it. It feels exactly like WWE has felt since I was a kid. It's really not that different from the main roster shows at this point. I did love the O'Reilly/Balor matches though, but that's because Kyle O'Reilly is going to deliver the goods no matter what situation he's in.

I only watch WWE on Youtube through their replays, and even then, I usually skip most of them.
I prefer Impact, Beyond, and WWR on Pluto.

You guys don’t like choo-choo noises and cartoon birds? Thought it was just me. 🙄
