Swerve is an awesome character. It will be interesting to see how he’s evolved away from his initial card. I’m especially interested in his art.

For fans unfamiliar with Astarte, he was designed by Pete Beck. But the original Astarte character was designed by Tom. Astarte was the guy whose body Doomsayer stole. This Astarte is that characters son. He took his fathers name and entered FTR with hopes of restoring honor to the family name, currently best known for the Doomsayer drama. We will find out where ASTARTE is on his path in Suspects.
But long story short, Astarte looks like what Doomsayer once looked like (but in a new costume).
A little story for the history buffs.

The original "Astarte" story was one of those "unexplored" branches of the COTG-verse that I thought would be cool shed some light on as it just went off into stardust when Doomsayer was forced to "give" the body back. I am excited to see what everyone thinks of his new path in Suspects! |
