KINGDOM of TRUTH KOT #1 - A BIG BANG (01.Jan.01) from the Pariah Palace, Neverwhere, USA
Commentary: Trish Stratus and Vampiro
In The Ring: With his identity concealed by robe and mask, the Governor officially opened the Kingdom. In a little over three weeks, there will be a 20-Man Battle Royal to crown the inaugural KOT Apex Heavyweight Champion. The outcome of each upcoming contest will be integral in determining who will be invited to compete in this Battle Royal.
SHANE STRICKLAND def. AR Fox. - Strickland pinned Fox after a SWERVE STOMP. - These high flying competitors delivered some exciting action to kick off the show. Strickland offered to shake hands after the match, but Fox waved him off. - Strickland became the first man to earn a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. - Tokens: Fox 2 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Salina de la Renta discussed strategy with her clients, a three man stable known as Odyssey. Alex Hammerstone, Killer Kross and Lio Rush were confident they would emerge triumphant in their upcoming trios match.
ELI EVERFLY, LUCHASAURUS & SPACE MONKEY def. Alex Hammerstone, Killer Kross & Lio Rush (w/ Salina de la Renta) - Monkey hit Rush with a Moon Landing and covered him for a fast three count. - Salina's crew were in complete control for the majority of this encounter. Rush nearly finished Luchasaurus with a DRAGON'S CALL, but Everfly leaped into the ring for the save. Hammerstone tried to intercept Everfly, but was cut off by the referee. Everfly hit Rush with a springboard elbow and Luchasaurus tagged Monkey into the match for a thrilling finish. - For scoring the pinfall, Monkey was awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. However, Everfly and Luchasaurus would each have to win a singles contest on the next card to qualify. - Tokens: Everfly 1, Luchasaurus 3 - Rush 1 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Although they were not scheduled to appear, Brody King, Darby Allin and Tommy End solidified their alliance by calling themselves the Anti-Heroes. The Governor stated they would be competing against each other in a Triangle Elimination match on the next card and only the winner would receive a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship.
DAVEY BOY SMITH JR & LANCE HOYT def. Lenny Lane & Petey Williams. - Smith avoided a running clothesline by Lane, dropping him into a pinning combination after he crashed against the turnbuckles. - Williams landed some hard hitting offense, but pushed things too far by trying to put Smith down with a CANADIAN DESTROYER. Using his power to counter the move, Smith forced Williams to make a much needed tag. Smith and Hoyt followed up with some vicious teamwork that forced Lane into a desperate situation, causing him to make a critical mistake. - Smith and Hoyt were each awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. - Tokens: Smith 1 - Lane 4, Williams 2 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Salina de la Renta tried to keep the peace as her Odyssey members argued about who was to blame for their loss. The trio was interrupted by the Governor. He stated that since they were not involved in the fall, Alex Hammerstone and Killer Kross would each receive a second chance on the next card. Hammerstone would meet Eli Everfly and Killer Kross would face off against Luchasaurus with the respective winners being granted a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. Lio Rush was not happy with the news.
MICHAEL BENNETT (w/ Maria) def. Samuray Del Sol. - Bennett pinned Del Sol following a Side Effect. - Just as Del Sol was starting to gain momentum, a distraction by Maria caused him to lose focus for a brief instant while preparing for a high risk move. The moment of hesitation allowed Bennett to knock him off the top rope and take firm control of the match. - Bennett was awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. - Tokens: DelSol 3 - DQ warnings: n/a
MATT SYDAL, RICOCHET & WILLIE MACK def. Austin Theory, Daga & Sammy Guevara. - Mack landed a standing moonsault on Guevara and hooked the leg for a three count <snake eyes>. - Shortly after the opening bell, Ricochet wiped out all three members of the opposing team with a shooting star plancha. Theory and Daga failed to have any impact as Mack made relatively short work of Guevara. - Pandemonium erupted after the bell! Recovering quickly, Guevara brought Mack down with a low blow. Sydal retaliated by tossing a steel chair at Guevara and Ricochet followed up with a roundhouse kick, driving the chair into his face. This led to a wild brawl and security was needed to restore order. <Guevara injured for 6 cards. Sydal and Ricochet each suspended for 5 cards.> - Mack was awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. Sydal and Ricochet were deemed ineligible due to their suspensions. As a result, Theory and Daga were each awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. - Tokens: Guevara 1 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Making a late arrival, Hanson and Raymond Rowe were confronted by the Briscoe brothers. Before the heated verbal exchange could escalate into a brawl, security pushed the two teams apart. The Governor declared that all four men would compete in a tag match on the next card with both members of the winning team receiving a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. To make things more interesting, Jay Briscoe would be Rowe's partner while his younger brother, Mark, would be paired with Hanson. Despite some loud objections, the Governor added another stipulation. Both members of the losing team would be exiled from the Kingdom.
SAMI CALLIHAN def. 'Hangman' Adam Page. - Callihan pinned Page with a high risk forearm smash from the top rope. - The Hangman came in hot, but Callihan stopped him cold with a bicycle kick to the face. - Visibly impressed by his opponent's apparent mean streak, Callihan suggested they should work together in the future. Page seemed receptive to the idea. - Callihan was awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. - Tokens: Page 1 - DQ warnings: n/a
In The Ring: The Governor provided a recap of the night's action and reminded everyone that in a little over two weeks, a 20-Man Battle Royal would decide who would be crowned the inaugural KOT Apex Heavyweight Champion. Thus far, the following competitors had qualified for Battle Royal: Shane Strickland, Space Monkey, Davey Boy Smith Jr, Lance Hoyt, Michael Bennett, Willie Mack, Austin Theory, Daga and Sami Callihan.
Fatal Four Match PCO def. 'Cowboy' James Storm, Mil Muertes (w/ Karlee Perez) and Moose. - PCO pinned Moose following a scoop powerslam. - The advantage changed hands at a fast and furious pace as all four men pulled out all the stops. Storm appeared to have the upper hand after hitting PCO with a high impact combination. Displaying savage resiliency, PCO immediately bounced back and plastered Storm with a series of machinegun chops. Muertes hit Moose with a Reaper's Trident and claimed victory, but Storm nailed him with a BEER BOTTLE SMASH. Before Storm could capitalize, PCO shoved him out of the ring and snared the win. - PCO was awarded a spot in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship. Since neither was involved in the fall, Storm and Muertes were advised they would each receive a second chance to qualify when they faced each other on the next card. - Tokens: PCO 3 - Moose 6 - Storm 4 - Muertes 1 - DQ warnings: PCO - Muertes

Great first show! I always like the Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr & Lance Hoyt) and seeing them win is awesome! The Governor is a hard man, as he has effectively split up both Warmachine and the Briscoes with the match on the next card! The main event was awesome! I figured Mil Muertes would take it, but there were just too manyd bodies that prevented him from winning. I look forward to the 20 man battle royal to establish your KOT Alex Heavyweight Championship! I will be tuning in to see whag kind of ride this will be!

Although no one knows his true identity (yet), the Governor is ruling the Kingdom with an iron hand... And he's showing off his authority by not only splitting two of the highest calibur teams in the business, but also preventing either from coming back together... The stakes could not be higher. KES was a pair that I knew would be coming to this fed as soon as I started planning... And Muertes might have missed this opportunity to qualify for the big Battle Royal, but he gets a second chance on the next card... Can he beat James Storm for his shot to become champion? Truly appreciate you taking the time to check out the landscape, my friend... And hope you enjoy what's to come!

Wow,you have a very stacked Roster there. π A lot of big Names. And not many DQ Warmings happen.I did expect more. Have to admit that I was expecting more DQ warnings as well... Normally, I can't roll an entire show without at least a couple DQ decisions... Go figure, HA! My plan is to consistently keep the roster at about 40 wrestlers... Keep in mind, that some of these guys will be only appear on a handful of shows while others might wind up being 'one and done' performers... So, expect a lot of turnover to keep thinks interesting. Hope you're enjoying the action, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Nice to see PCO come out on top. Great start. I was secretly rooting for Moose or Storm to win, so I could pit Muertes against PCO in the second chance match... Still, I'm excited to see where this development leads. Always great to see you in the crowd, my friend... Truth!
