I'm absolutely loving this fed my friend. Very cool to see PCO having great success. 14 tokens combined in the match with James Storm, now that's a war! I'm definitely pulling for PCO in the title match with Callihan.
Salina de la Renta ditching Lio Rush was something I didn't see coming but I'm intrigued to see who she replaces him with. The action in the trios division has been great but now the first champs are history, literally!

The action in the trios division has been great but now the first champs are history, literally! Although Salina clearly wants to get rid of Lio Rush, it looks like Hammerstone wants her to reconsider... After all, Odyssey had a decent run as the inaugural KOT Frontline Trios Champions and a title rematch might be coming their way... Replacing a member of the team at this point in time might not be the smartest move... A lot may depend on what happens on the next few cards. As for the new KOT Apex Heavyweight Champion... Callihan is gonna have his hands full... There aren't many competitors as dangerous as PCO... Plus, Mark Briscoe will be waiting for a chance to reclaim that gold. Always appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friend... Many thanks!

Looks like the new warriors for Coronado are having some trouble winning starting out for him. There is definitely something between Lio Rush and CW Anderson, and even though Hammerstone wants Rush to stay, Salina may not entertain that idea at all. Killer Kross is having great success no matter who he faces, as Davey Boy Smith Jr. is no pushover! I was hoping the match between King and Page would have been more hard hitting, but that is an impressive win for King in such a manner! Some good heat between the Saints and the Militia! Time to see what will come of it. As much as you like La Sangre, they just cannot seem to make an impact and win when it counts! I am not sure what they need to do, to turn their luck around, but they need something. The PCO/James Storm match was awesome and did not disappoint! PCO is not human, and I await the match with Callihan for the KOT Apex Championship! That match may be the hardest hitting one yet, and I am pulling for PCO to claim the title, though I a, always a fan of the World Wide Desperado/Callihan Death Machine! Great action, and keep it up my friend!

Great action, and keep it up my friend! There's no way around it... Callihan could very well be facing the fight of his life in his very first title defense... And it might be time to start rethinking La Sangre's overall position in the pecking order... Could they be on the verge of receiving the same treatment as the Anti-Heroes before them? I'm happy that it looks like the Militia and the Saints have moved past their earlier rivalries and into a program with each other... Either team has the potential to become trios champs, imo... And in case you missed this little stats nugget earlier - Hammerstone and Killer Kross are BOTH undefeated in singles and tag team (with each other as their partner) competition. You always manage to raise some interesting points and I value your input, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

KINGDOM of TRUTH KOT #23 - RISE OR FALL (01.Jul.11) from the Pariah Palace, Neverwhere, USA
Commentary: Trish Stratus and Vampiro
FLIP GORDON def. TJ Perkins. - Gordon pinned TJP following a Spring Blade. - This was a tight back and forth exchange, highlighting the technical ability of both men. - Tokens: Gordon 2 - TJP 3 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Johnny Gargano appeared slightly disoriented as he wandered that halls of the Palace, making odd remarks about wanting to thank Karlee Perez for the Lick of Death that put him on the sidelines. He stated that it provided time for valuable reflection.
Space Monkey vs. Juan Francisco de Coronado resulted in a no contest. - Before either man entered the ring, CW Anderson jumped Monkey and repeatedly struck him with a steel chair. Coronado ran for cover as Bear Boulder & Bear Bronson arrived to pull Anderson away from his victim. The Enforcer ordered his deputies to stand down, but they ignored his commands.
Backstage: Deciding that he was no longer capable of being an impartial head of security, the Governor relieved CW Anderson of his post. As a further insult, the Governor advised Anderson that he would be holding onto his deputies, Bear Boulder & Bear Bronson.
SAMURAY DEL SOL def. Lance Hoyt. - Del Sol finished Hoyt with a RISING SUN. - Relying on hit and run tactics, Del Sol remained one step ahead of Hoyt for the duration of this fast paced match. Salina de la Renta arrived to taunt Hoyt, proclaiming this was another example of the Killer Elite Squad failing to live up to their name. - Tokens: Hoyt 2 - DQ warnings: n/a
ALEX HAMMERSTONE & KILLER KROSS def. Matt Sydal & Shane Strickland via count-out. - Sydal was counted out after Kross draped him across the ringside guardrail and landed a diving knee drop from the apron. - Managing to put aside the differences between their respective teams, Sydal & Strickland worked well together. It was not enough to withstand the relentless aggression of Salina's Odyssey. - Tokens: Kross 1 - Sydal 2, Strickland 3 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: When the Governor informed Salina de la Renta that Odyssey was next in line to challenge Daga, Hanson & Moose for the KOT Frontline Trios Championship, she immediately stated that she no longer wanted Lio Rush representing her team. Alex Hammerstone told her to reconsider her position. He thought it was unwise to add an unfamiliar member a title rematch right around the corner. Killer Kross had no opinion on the matter.
RICOCHET def. AR Fox. - Ricochet hit Fox with a 630 SENTON for the pinfall. - The heat between these two men continued to build as they pulled out all the stops in this emotionally charged encounter. Things started going sour when Fox sent Ricochet crashing through a ringside table on the last card. Ricochet returned the favor by driving Fox into the concrete floor. Based on the verbal insults that continued to be hurled after the bell, it was obvious that very little was settled here. - Tokens: Ricochet 4 - Fox 1 - DQ warnings: Ricochet
Backstage: Stokely Hathaway advised his client and former KOT Apex Heavyweight Champion, Mark Briscoe, that defeating WALTER in their upcoming match would be integral in keeping him at the top of the rankings. Briscoe told his manager that he was willing to resort to any measures to reclaim the title.
MARK BRISCOE (w/ Stokely Hathaway) def. WALTER. - Briscoe put WALTER away with a Saito suplex. - WALTER dictated the pace with authority and Briscoe quickly chose to improve his chances by fighting dirty. Stunning WALTER with a cheap shot out on the floor, Briscoe repeatedly rammed his face into a corner post until he was busted wide open. Blood loss took its toll and WALTER simply ran out of steam. - Willie Mack made an appearance after the bell, calling out Briscoe for his underhanded tricks. Admitting that WALTER was no friend, Mack made it clear that he could not stand to watch anyone get beaten unfairly. When Hathaway tried to intervene, WALTER grabbed him from behind and tossed him against the rails. Finding himself trapped, Briscoe told them to back off and agreed to meet both in a Triangle Elimination match on the next card. - Tokens: Briscoe 4 - WALTER 5 - DQ warnings: Briscoe
In The Ring: 'Cowboy' James Storm was annoyed that he was missing out on a chance to become the KOT Apex Heavyweight Champion, but said he was not one to cry over spilled beer. He called out Johnny Gargano, wanting to know where the man had been for so long and why he decided to make his return during Storm's match against PCO on the last card. After waiting several minutes, Storm realized Gargano was not coming and stomped towards the backstage area to seek out his answers.
KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship Match SAMI CALLIHAN def. PCO via DQ. - PCO was disqualified when he crushed Callihan with a blatant chairshot to the face. - As PCO gradually started to gain momentum, he was distracted by the surprise appearance of Michael Bennett and Maria. Unable to focus on the task at hand, PCO allowed his temper to take control of his actions and it cost him the match. - Satisfied with the outcome, Maria returned to the backstage area. As he turned to follow, Bennett stated that he would never forget PCO striking Maria several weeks ago. With that in mind, he planned to become a constant thorn in PCO's side. - Tokens: Callihan 3 - DQ warnings: PCO Sami Callihan retained the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship for a successful version one title defense.

Some solid action all around this show. A DQ and a count-out on the same card... Thankfully, technical decisions are a rarity in the Kingdom... But, sometimes they point things in a cool direction!
