Good to see Alexander Hammerstone, Killer Kross, and Lio Rush all led by Salina de la Renta advance to the Semi-Finals! I'm really pleased that Salina's Odyssey have made it past the opening round of the KOT Frontline Trios Championship tournament... I've gotta feeling this group will be a staple of the Kingdom for awhile... Totally appreciate the constant support, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

KINGDOM of TRUTH KOT #6 - DEFENDING THE CROWN (01.Feb.12) from the Pariah Palace, Neverwhere, USA
Commentary: Trish Stratus and Vampiro
'COWBOY' JAMES STORM def. Brody King. - Storm pinned King following a LAST CALL. - The advantage changed hands several times in this hard hitting exchange. King suffered a serious setback when Storm countered a hurricanrana with a wicked buckle bomb. - Storm called out Mil Muertes after the bell. The Man of 1000 Deaths immediately answered, but Karlee Perez held him back. The two men swapped verbal threats as security quickly surrounded the area. Perez convinced Muertes to wait, prompting an angry response from Storm. - Tokens: Storm 2 - King 2 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: The Kingdom's recently appointed head of security, CW Anderson, spoke with Space Monkey regarding the mysterious assault that took place last month. Unfortunately, his investigation had reached a dead end. The Governor provided some compensation for the missed opportunity by offering Monkey a shot at the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship next week.
Holidead & Thunder Rosa vs. Priscilla Kelly & Vanessa Kraven resulted in a time limit draw. - Holidead and Rosa relied on fluid teamwork to keep the action moving while Kelly did her best to hide behind Kraven. A slick double team combination had Kraven on the ropes, but it was not enough to end the contest before the clock expired. - Tokens: Holidead 1, Rosa 3 - Kelly 1, Kraven 3 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Looking for someone to watch his back, Juan Francisco de Coronado tried to purchase the loyalty of the Anti-Heroes. With a shared expression of disgust, Tommy End slapped the money away and Darby Allin chased Coronado from the room.
JUAN FRANCISCO DE CORONADO def. Trevor Lee. - Coronado put Lee down with a CORONADO CLUTCH (+2). - Things became heated as these two men started brawling outside the ring. After receiving an official warning for his conduct, Lee turned his back on his opponent to argue with the referee and Coronado capitalized on the mistake. - Tokens: Coronado 3 - Lee 3 - DQ warnings: Lee
Backstage: Maria reassured her man, Michael Bennett, that regardless of what took place during the KOT Frontline Trios Championship tournament, she would remain vigilant for any additional opportunities. After all, she believed the Prodigy deserved suitable recognition.
KOT Frontline Trios Championship Tournament Semifinal Match BRIAN KENDRICK, PAUL LONDON & TJ PERKINS def. Austin Theory, Daga & Michael Bennett (w/ Maria). - London executed a high risk hurricanrana from the top rope to sweep Bennett into a successful pinning combination. - The energetic teamwork of Kendrick, London & TJP resulted in Bennett being completely cut off from his own corner. It was a frustrating situation for Theory and Daga, who were prevented from tagging into the match. - Kendrick, London & TJP advanced to the KOT Frontline Trios Championship tournament final. - Tokens: Bennett 3 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Stokely Hathaway argued with the Governor, claiming that Space Monkey did nothing to earn a title shot against his client. The Governor offered a valid reminder that Mark Briscoe might not even be the champion next week, depending on the outcome of his upcoming defense against Willie Mack.
HANSON (w/ Stokely Hathaway) def. PCO. - Hanson pinned PCO following a SPIN KICK OF DOOM. - This was an impressive test for two tough competitors. Taking one risk too many, PCO missed a diving senton from the top rope and Hanson delivered a powerful finish. - Tokens: PCO 1 - DQ warnings: n/a
Backstage: Sami Callihan interrupted a meeting between Maria and the Governor, making it clear that he still wanted revenge against Michael Bennett for tossing him from the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship Battle Royal last month. Maria protested, stating the Prodigy had nothing to prove against a man with a reputation for lunacy. The Governor disagreed and stated Callihan would face off against Bennett on the next card.
KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship Match MARK BRISCOE (w/ Stokely Hathaway) def. Willie Mack. - Briscoe finished Mack <snake eyes> with a CUT THROAT DRIVER. - Hathaway provided a prematch distraction that allowed Briscoe to tear into his challenger with some Red Neck Kung Fu. When Briscoe made the cover, Hathaway held onto Mack's legs to prevent him from kicking out. - Eager to send a message to future potential challengers, Briscoe continued his assault after the bell. With Hathaway offering vile encouragement, Briscoe smashed Mack in the face with his title belt. Eli Everfly, Luchasaurus and Space Monkey rushed the ring, forcing Briscoe to make swift exit. <Mack injured for 1 card.> - Tokens: n/a - DQ warnings: n/a Mark Briscoe retained the KOT Apex Heavyweight Championship for a successful version one title defense.

Nice to see Juan Francisco doing his thing. Definitely a big win for JFdC... And didn't do any favors for the Carolina Caveman's time in the Kingdom... Oh, snap!

James Storm defeating Brody King is huge. He is definitely ready to go toe to toe with Mil Muertes again, which should be an awesome match. Stokely Hathaway is seeing great success for his men, as he is making sure they are on the winning end of their matches. However, he needs to be careful, as if he is too successful then both his men may face one another for the Apex Championship, and that never goes well. Great job and keep it up my friend!

That is always the big dilemma for a lot of managers -- How far can you take one of your clients before the others become jealous? A question that Mr Hathaway might want to give a little consideration. Always appreciate the valuable input, my friend... Many thanks!

Hey Bri ... Here are the Triple Threat Rules I promised... HA! It appears a lot more complicated than it really is... Just takes a bit to get into the groove with the different charts. * In all cases, wrestler C will refer to the wrestler that is NOT currently involved in the action. Always roll 1d6 BEFORE defensive wrestler rolls on 'into the ropes' or 'into the turnbuckle' chart and consult the following... 1-4: Play normally. 5: Wrestler C cuts into the action and rolls on Level 2 Offense against the wrestler that was previously on offense. 6: Defensive wrestler still rolls on 'into the ropes' or 'into the turnbuckle' chart, but with Wrestler C as the active opponent. Always roll 1d6 BEFORE defensive wrestler rolls on 'out of the ring' chart and consult the following... 1-4: Play normally. 5: Defensive wrestler still rolls on 'out of the ring' chart, but with Wrestler C as the active opponent. 6: Offensive wrestler rolls on 'out of the ring' chart with Wrestler C as the active opponent. Always roll 1d6 BEFORE defensive wrestler rolls on 'deathjump' chart and consult the following... 1-4: Play normally. 5: Wrestler C cuts into the action and rolls on Level 3 Offense against wrestler that was previously on defense. 6: Wrestler C cuts into the action and rolls on Level 3 Offense against wrestler that was previously on offense. Roll on Triple Threat PIN SAVE Chart before any PIN is attempted. *Note: Always add one fatigue token to defensive wrestler's PIN rating anytime a PIN is attempted, regardless if SAVE is successful or not. 2: Wrestler C cuts into the action, knocking offensive wrestler aside. Defensive wrestler still rolls for PIN, but with Wrestler C as the active opponent. (Ignore any Finisher adjustments and DO NOT roll for another PIN SAVE.) 3-6: PIN SAVE succeeds! Consult After the Save chart to see what happens next. 7: PIN SAVE might succeed. Wrestler C rolls 1d6 and if result is higher than wrestler C's current fatigue token count, then it IS successful. Consult After the Save chart to see what happens next. If save is NOT successful, have defensive wrestler rolls for PIN as per usual. If the match is NOT over, consult After the Save chart to see what happens next. 8-10: PIN SAVE does not succeed! Defensive wrestler rolls for PIN. If the match is NOT over, consult After the Save chart to see what happens next. 11-12: MAYHEM ERUPTS! Add one fatigue token to all three wrestlers and then randomly determine who takes control of the match. That wrestler rolls on Level 3 Offense against the opponent of their choice. After the Save Chart (roll 1d6): 1-2: Wrestler C rolls on Level 2 Offense against wrestler on offense. 3: Wrestler C rolls on Level 3 Offense against wrestler on defense. 4: Offensive wrestler rolls on Level 2 Offense against wrestler C. 5-6: Offensive wrestler continues on Level 3 Offense against defensive wrestler.
