I thought Edge and Orton put on a stellar match last year, so I think he will be a good opponent for either Drew or Roman at Mania this year. He will bring some old school storytelling to the show of shows main event.

I didn’t mind Edge winning as he did fight his heart out the entire time. I’m just glad Goldberg lost. He looked horrible put there, physically and work rate. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt that Drew carried 90% of the match. As for the women’s RE, I have no complaints, though I didn’t know either of the finalists so I didn’t care who won. I’m also glad Lesnar didn’t show up. Hopefully he skips WM this year. You know, when Goldberg made his comment about the new guys not being able to do what he does (or whatever it was) my first response was "Yeah. That's right, Bill! Brag about having some of the worst matches humanly possible for ridiculous amounts of money!" I haven't watched much WWE at all in at least a year and it's largely because of their philosophy of constantly relying on the old guy nostalgia instead of building new stars/top guys. Make no mistake, the inability of the current roster to get over to the level the stars of the past did is a deliberate choice. At least, it looks that way to me.

To follow up on my slamming of Edge winning the Rumble...I really enjoyed him coming out on NXT and the promo he gave. He mentioned that he didn't like the "E" in WWE and that NXT focused more on the middle "W". Then he mentioned that him watching NXT from home reignited his passion for wrestling. I must admit I'm the same way, as NXT is my favorite wrestling show right now. Simple storylines and strong character development.
That was fantastic, and then he put both Dunne and Balor over big, and finished by saying the NXT Title is something he's never won. Hoping this ends up with him putting over one of them (or maybe Cole or Gargano) at Mania.

lol speaking of old guys comments Undertaker recently made some . When they asked Roman Reigns about it one of the things he said was "Steamboat Savage at WrestleMania 3 had 20 kickouts. That's a friday on Smackdown."
Yeah but those guys were kicking out of rollups in one of the biggest blowoff matches of all times. You guys are kicking out of powerbombs and missile dropkicks halfway through the match. there's not logic.
