one major difference is that Wolf was on the Gladiators team a position Monolith has never had.

I am not a COTG expert but I thought Monolith was an AniMen? He is billed from Andromeda. Right, correct. Wolf too is an AniMen. He went through a cleansing, like Monolith also did, which is why Wolf was a participant in Civil War, and why he unlike Brute, Massacre, and Spike, was able to remain in the GWF. It would echo it perfectly, get the “older guard” Paralyze, Fist, and Aethran Overlord out, Monolith remains and maybe we get three new Aethrans out of the deal. yeah I knew Monolith had a cleansing like Wolf and I could see a role for him as you suggested in a Gladiator civil war (although I do not think that is likely to happen.) I was just wondering about your description of Monolith as "Aethran" because I was not sure if getting a cleansing made you Aethran (perhaps it does, I don't know.)

It is more that the Civil War is between the Gladiators, and Wolf was allowed to participate due to the cleansing. Same would be for Monolith. I don’t think it will happen either, but it would be awesome.

We gotta be getting kinda closer to Origins 2137. I mean it would be kinda cool even if Spike (one of the Gladiator originals) or Thunder came back and brought four Aethrans with him (I know it is probably just a 12 card set) that would fight against the Aetrhans for supremacy over the final two sections of Origins.
I'd also love a true Animan tag team like Battering Ram and Incredible Badger. I hate tag teams without tag finishers. They never seem to do that well in my fed.

I think the Aethran Overmaster had Spike killed or something of the sort. But maybe your not too far off. Origins 2136 shined like on the Titans & CTA-102 feud. Maybe 2137 focuses on the history behind Aethran-Animen feud in a way. I think changes are ahead for both teams

Wolf's not going to last forever, Kill Prey was wedged on to fill a roster slot....definitely the AniMen either need some new blood or to break up. Monolith might eventually start aging or feeling the effects of the Transevolver. The Gladiators have been too quiet since their shakeup in 31.

I thought that in 31 and moving forward Tom was going to do something big with the Aethrans. I'm all for the larger storytelling since 27, but the older press conferences gave the characters personality and I kinda miss that. I understand that creativity wise you can only write 10 press conferences differently for so long before getting burned out or writers block. With guys from Black Death and Future Shock now gone from the GWF... Where do we go from here? I'm interested to see if some of the future shock guys like Euritar and Code Destroyer turn up in CWF or if other promoters will add them in now. I think the only way those who would like to see another Aethran Civil War can get that from Kronos.

I think it is safe to say no will be surprised when he leaves we would just need what two Animen to replace him.
