I am not surprised since Blake Christian lost that match against RSP last month with the stipulation that he leaves GCW if he lost that match, now he can join Alex Zayne and his girlfriend Elayna Black.
A new report has surfaced revealing that WWE has signed another top talent from the independent circuit days after the signing of Christian Casanova.
According to Fightful Select, pro-wrestling star Blake Christian is joining the company following an impressive run with IMPACT Wrestling, where he had been competing regularly and even had a strong showing in their Super X Cup. He’s also recently worked tapings for NJPW Strong, the promotion’s U.S. based show that films from California.
The report mentions that there was a clear indication Christian had signed somewhere as he recently lost a career vs. title matchup with Game Changer Wrestling, another federation he appeared for regularly. The details of the contract are not yet determined, but one would assume he’s on a developmental deal and will be traveling to Florida to go through WWE’s Performance Center.

Between AEW and WWE there's going to be no one left on the indys;) Good luck to him though.

Blake Christian is someone I discovered through Filsinger. He reminds me of Sami Zayn a lot. In my opinion Sami Zayn is probably the best wrestler besides AJ Styles and Kevin Owens in WWE. Happy to see he's signed!

Between AEW and WWE there's going to be no one left on the indys In terms of high level talent who aren't working for major companies on either actual contracts or per appearance deals, there's already nobody left. They're just strip mining an already depleted scene because they think they need to have every wrestler possible under contract.

I only know about Blake Christian from his card, though I’m kind of partial towards him as he shares the name of my favorite writer; William Blake.
