Okay, with that card done, the Semi-Finals of Thakur's Tag Team Tournament and the quarter finals of the Aethra Warfare Cup have been confirmed, and those matches will all take place on Card 37.
The matches are as follows (in the exact order I'm placing them in).
Scar VS Alpha Female
Thrash VS Minister of War
Rage & Sledge Hammer VS Turmoil & Cyclone
Heathen VS Cataclysm
Disaster VS Berserk
Rush & Pandemic VS Fracture & Nytro -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to know two things going into this.
1. What are your predictions for Card 37?
2. The four teams in the Semi-Final could become official tag teams going forward, so I'm curious to see what names you all would give these select teams (of course, this is in addition to the tag teams we may have going forward).

Card 37
Scar d. Alpha Female via Pinfall (DEATH BY AETHRAN) DUD
Alpha Female tried to use her power to take down Scar, but Scar was too heavy, causing Alpha Female to struggle with her power game. Scar was slow, but Alpha Femaleās strategy didnāt work against the menacing for. After failing to win a test of strength, Scar hit a full power slam and followed it with a DEATH BY AETHRAN to win the match.
Minister of War d. Thrash (3) via Pinfall (AETHRAN MASSACRE) 1.5*
Minister of War started the match with the Gladiator Bionic Elbow and pinned Thrash for an early two count. Afterwards, Minister of War constantly beat down on Thrash on the outside to the point where she struggled to get back into the ring. Minister of War then went easy on Thrash, giving her a chance to fight back. Thrash would hit a huge lariat and throw Minister of War outside the ring to do some damage to him, but Minister of War hit Thrash hard and threw her back into the ring to hit the AETHRAN MASSACRE. After that, Minister of War picked up the win.
Rage (1) & Sledge Hammer d. Cyclone (4) & Turmoil via Submission (DEATH AFTER DEATH) 1.25*
Rage and Cyclone started off the match with Cyclone in control. He eventually tagged in Turmoil once to hit a Double Table Breaker onto Rage, but Rage was able to fight back against Cyclone. After that, Sledge Hammer got in and beat down on Cyclone. Both Rage and Sledge Hammer kept Cyclone isolated, and then Rage would go for ALL THE RAGE multiple times before following it with DEATH AFTER DEATH alongside Sledge Hammer. They had the submission on and before Turmoil could get in and save his partner, Cyclone tapped out in the ring.
Cataclysm d. Heathen (6) via Pinfall (Aethran Powerbomb) 3*
Cataclysm and Heathen started the match off hot and heavy, but when a Deathjump attempt went wrong, the referee was down and Cataclysm went to town. Hitting the CATASTROPHIC and pinning Heathen multiple times for the time the referee was down wore Heathen out. Cataclysm then proceeded to try and beat Heathen with big move after big move, but Heathen would not stay down and he tried to fight back. Heathenās adrenaline rush was short lived, however, and Cataclysm would work on Heathen enough to finish him with an Aethran Powerbomb.
Disaster d. Berserk via Pinfall (RAMPAGE) DUD
This was a very short match with only a double-arm DDT, an Atomic Spike off the Irish whip rebound, and the RAMPAGE. Berserk did not get any amount of offense as he was out for the count.
Rush (1) & Pandemic (5) d. Fracture (1) & Nytro (3) via Pinfall (THE TEMPEST) 2.5*
The battle started back and forth between Nytro and Rush, but after a little while, Fracture got in to deal some damage to Pandemic, tagging Nytro in after the fact. Nytro would hit NYTROāS HAVOC and the NYTROGLYCERINE multiple times on Pandemic, and while Pandemic would fight out the first time, it took Rush starting a brawl to save him the second time.
After that, Rush would get a tag in and would fight off Nytro, hitting him with the ADRENALINE RUSH multiple times, requiring Fracture to make a save at one point. Nytro would tag Fracture back in, but thatās when it went downhill for the unhinged duo.
Rush would keep Fracture in the ring as long as possible and with the help of Pandemic, they were able to do just that. Rush would hit the ADRENALINE RUSH and THE TEMPEST to put Fracture down for the three count.
After the match, as Rush and Pandemic were celebrating, Rage and Sledgehammer made their way to the ring to stare at Rush and Pandemic. The two teams were standing toe to toe in the ring, with one team guaranteed to win Thakurās Tag Team Invitational, all while the cameras faded to black.

Card 38
Fuel (3) d. Fist (1) via Pinfall (TOTAL MAYHEM) 2*
The match started with Fuel in control and he held it until Fist hit him with a weapon on the outside of the ring. Fist would then hit the WEAPONS multiple times on Fuel, who kicked out every time. Fist had enough and threw Fuel outside the ring. This proved to be Fistās downfall, as Fuel threw Fist into the steel steps. Fuel then proceeded to hit 2 TOTAL MAYHEMS to finish off Fist.
Pandemic (2) d. Rage (2) via Pinfall (UNCURABLE) 2*
Pandemic and Rage put on a solid one on one encounter with Rage showing his prowess in the ring. He locked in ALL THE RAGE twice and kicked out of the UNCURABLE twice, showing that heās wanting to win. The big mistake came when he tried to fight Pandemic outside of the ring in the final moments of the match. Pandemic threw Rage into the steps, threw him back in, and hit the UNCURABLE one more time to put Rage down.
Sledge Hammer d. Rush (1) via Pinfall (THE DEMOLISHER) .5*
The match started with Rush taking control early, working on Sledgehammer with Moonsaults from the top. However, when he threw Sledge Hammer into the ropes, he received a flying shoulder table from his opponent for his troubles. Sledge Hammer then proceeded to hit two Piledrivers before going for the cover. Rush kicked out, but was met with THE DEMOLISHER to end the match.
Before the next match starts, Thunder is seen in a dome like building with a thunderstorm going on in the background (this was done through LED technology).
Thunder: Welcome everyone, to the THUNDERDOME! I am your host, Thunder! Tonight is our first night on the job, and tonight, we have a wrestler who made it far in the Aethra Warfare Cup, someone whoās shown that you can overcome anything if you put your mind to it, itās Strafe, or as you may all know her as, Alpha Female!
Alpha Female walks into the frame and shakes Thunderās hand.
Alpha: Thank you for having me Thunder. Itās an honor being your first guest.
Thunder: Donāt mention it. So, you made it to the Quarter Finals in the Aethra Warfare Cup. How does that make you feel inside, knowing that you defeated two other Aethrans to get here?
Alpha: Itās wasnāt easy, but as a Gladiator, itās my duty to fight with everything Iāve got in that ring every single time! Calamity, you tried your hardest, and I respect that. As for Spike, youāve proven to be one of my toughest foes yet, and I admit, I probably should have lost. But in the end, it was heart and desire to show that I am as worthy of a fighter as any guy on the AWC roster!
Thunder: You ended up losing to Scar in your match against him. What do you have to say to him before he goes into battle against Minister of War tonight?
Alpha: Scar have better win this one. If he doesnāt then that Minister of War could have some leverage over the civil war, and I will not allow that! The Rebellion will not fall, and the Rebellion will rise up to everything that is terrible about the Aethra regime!
?: I suggest you stop your antics right now!
As if on cue, the Aethran Overmaster appears in the frame, guarded by 2 Aethran Soldiers.
Overmaster: Alpha Female, I must ask you. What makes you think youāre mighty enough to take on the greatest gladiators in the world?
Alpha: I certainly have a better track record than you. You lost in the first round of the Aethra Warfare Cup.
Overmaster: Shut up! If you wish to prove that you are mighty, then you will have to beat me! On Card 39, I want to have a match against you. And since Iām feeling generous, letās make this match an Aethran Death Match.
Thunder: Ooh, the challenge has been laid out by the Overmaster. Strafe, are you going to accept this challenge?
Alpha: You bet I am! Overmaster, prepare to feel your body suffer, as I will take great pleasure in destroying you!
Thunder: There we have it. On Card 39, we will have an Aethran Deathmatch between Alpha Female and Aethran Overmaster! Back to the ring for some more exciting AWC action!
The cameras then head to the ring for the next match.
Storm (3) & Bulldoze (3) d. Calamity (2) & Crisis via Pinfall (TAG TEAM FINISHER) 2*
The match started with Storm and Crisis in the ring. After a while, Calamity was in the ring with Bulldoze. Calamity hit Bulldoze with the BRAIN STEW multiple times, but to no avail. One time, Storm made the save for her partner.
Crisis also hit the SPINAL SNAP multiple times, but those didnāt put either Storm nor Bulldoze down. After a little while, Storm and Bulldoze were able to get Calamity right where they wanted her. Bulldoze put Calamity on her shoulders and Storm came down with a Flying Decapitator to put Calamity down for the three count.
Scar d. Minister of War via Pinfall (DEATH BY AETHRAN) DUD
This match was relatively short with Vengeance starting hot and heavy with a Gladiator Bionic Elbow. He then proceeded to throw Scar outside the ring, in which Scar took control. The two of them would go back and forth inside and outside the ring until Scar hit the DEATH BY AETHRAN. Minister of War was out and Scar pinned him for the 3.
Cataclysm d. Disaster (1) via Pinfall (CATASTROPHIC) .5*
The match started with both Cataclysm and Disaster going back and forth, trying to gain the upper edge. Cataclysm was able to get that upper edge with a Scorpion Deathlock followed by a camel clutch. Cataclysm would then hit an Aethran Powerbomb into a pin, only getting a two count. After a scuffle outside the ring and a Deathjump from Cataclysm, he would hit the CATASTROPHIC to pin Disaster for the three count.
After the match, Scar would come out and stare down with Cataclysm. As soon as they are about to get to blows, Thakur and the Aethran Taskmaster appear on the screen.
Thakur: Hey, Scar, Cataclysm, congratulations on making it to the Finals of the Aethra Warfare Cup. I have some special announcements for you two, as well as Rage, Sledge Hammer, Rush, and Pandemic.
Taskmaster: Now, we have two cases here for the both of you, and these contain the prizes you will be fighting for on the next card. Thakur, can you take over for now?
Thakur: Of course. Thakurās Tag Team Tournament was my idea, hence why it has my name. So, to make it special, I got these custom made!
Thakur pulls off a black cloth over one of the two cases, revealing a set of championship belts.
Thakur: Thatās right. The finals for the Tag Team Tournament will crown our first ever AWC, Tag Team Champions!
The crowd roars, soon going to have their own championships, and they can only imagine what the second case holds.
Taskmaster: Now, for the Aethra Warfare Cup, we needed something special for it as well. So, I shall reveal whatās in the second case.
The Taskmaster removes another black cloth from the other case, revealing another championship belt, this one looking different from the other two.
Taskmaster: For the winner of the Aethra Warfare Cup, they will become the first ever AWC World Heavyweight Champion!
The crowd roars some more as Scar stares down Cataclysm.
Taskmaster: Thank you for your time. Weāll see all of you on Card 39.
Scar and Cataclysm stare each other down in the ring as the camera fades to black.

Card 39
The show begins with Curtis Freeman and Samuel Snyder in the ring getting some cheap heat from the Aethran crowd, but mostly Curtis. He ends his speech with āI am, THAT, good!ā The crowd boos until they see two familiar faces make their way to the ring. Itās the Defenders of Aethra, Hack and Slash! The crowd chant for them to destroy Curtis and Samuel in the ring, to which the Defenders of Aethra are more than willing to comply to.
Hack (1) & Slash (1) d. Curtis Freeman (6) & Samuel Snyder via Pinfall (AETHRAN DOMINATION) 2*
Hack and Slash had control over Curtis from the word go. After hitting a big AETHRAN DOMINATION at one point, Samuel had to come in and hit Slash with a huge move just for Curtis Freeman to make a cover on Slash. Hack and Slash did not play around as they constantly worked on Curtis Freeman until he could do no more. A final AETHRAN DOMINATION saw Curtis out for the count.
Thunder appears once again in a dome like building with thunder storms implemented by LED lights.
Thunder: Welcome back to the Thunderdome! Tonight, my guest is the Minister of War himself!
The Minister of War makes his way to the frame and sits down without even shaking Thunderās hands.
Thunder: Well, the pleasureās all mine. Anyway, you were a strong force in the Aethra Warfare Cup until you lost to Scar. How do you feel about that loss?
Minister: Thatās the big question you wanted to know, Thunder? Iāll tell you how I feel! I feel embarrassed that some lowlife Aethran in that stupid rebellion run by Havoc! I hope that Scar loses that title match against Cataclysm, because Aethra forbid that he wins a tournament that the Rebellion oh so sought to win. I heard Havoc had a match tonight as well, so Iām going to make this simple. That former tag partner of yours is looking to take your head off for being a worthless partner.
Thunder: Now hold on there, Minister. Havoc tried his hardest to make sure that he helped Devastator in that matchup, but there was only so much he could have done through the refereeās discretion.
Minister: He should have tried harder then. He didnāt even think to bring someone who could help him some more.
Thunder: You know the rules and so do I. There was no way he could legally bring someone to the ring without suffering any consequences. What happened to Devastator was not purely Havocās fault. They were in the ring with a team that wanted to win just as much as they did, and what happened out there was just an unfortunate circumstance.
Minister: What gives you the right to talk to me like that, traitor!?
Thunder: This is the Thunderdome, and here, I speak my mind and Iām not afraid to stand up to anyone! If you donāt like it, then youāre free to leave!
Minister: Fine. Youāll be sorry that you crossed me, Thunder.
The Minister of War walks out of the dome as Thunder looks at the camera.
Thunder: There we have it. Back to you.
Before the next match begins, Havoc heads to the stage when he spots a familiar face. It was the Dark Menace!
Havoc: Dark Menace? What are youā¦
Dark Menace: I came back to help you guys. You were lost without me, and Iām more than willing to offer you my services.
Havoc: Did you talk it over with the higher ups?
Menace: Thakur said I was allowed to come back to my manager role. So, I guess you have a manager.
Havoc: Very well. Thanks Menace.
Havoc then makes his way to the ring with the Dark Menace by his side, and Devastator also made his way out with the Aethran Taskmaster by his side.
(Dark Menace decided to give Havoc greater stamina before the match, reducing his pin rating by 1.)
Havoc (2) w/ Dark Menace d. Devastator (1) w/Aethran Taskmaster via Pinfall (Gothic Skull Spike) 1.5*
This was a short match with both wrestlers doing what they could at the start, but a few outside brawls saw Havoc taking control and hitting the Gothic Skull Spike to put Devastator away.
Alpha Female d. Aethran Overmaster in an Aethran Deathmatch via Pinfall (DIRE STRAPH) DUD
This was a short and very anti-climatic match with the Overmaster and Alpha Female fighting each other with whatever they could use inside and outside the ring. Alpha Female got the advantage on the outside and threw the Overmaster back in to hit the DIRE STRAPH to put the Overmaster away.
The crowd goes silent as they await the next match.
āThis next match is for the AWC Tag Team Championship! The winners will also be crowned the winners of Thakurās Tag Team Tournament!ā
The crowd begins to applaud as they await the first team to arrive.
āIntroducing first, at a combined weight of 506 pounds, Rage and Sledge Hammer!ā
Rage and Sledge Hammer make their way to the ring as a unit, ready to take the AWC Tag Team Championships home to themselves.
āAnd their opponents, at a combined weight of 525 pounds, Rush and Pandemic!ā
Rush and Pandemic make their way to the ring also as a unit. As they enter the ring, both teams look at each other as the referee shows off the AWC Tag Team Championships. Rage and Rush start things off as the bell rings.
Rush & Pandemic (2) d. Rage (4) & Sledge Hammer (1) via Pinfall (THE TEMPEST) 1.75*
Rage and Rush battled early with Rush constantly getting into the corner to try and make the tag. After a little while, Rush gained control over Sledge Hammer and tagged in Pandemic. Pandemic did some offense before tagging in Rush to hit the MAIM MACHINE onto Sledge Hammer. Rage made the save for Sledge Hammer before eventually getting the tag into the match, locking Pandemic in ALL THE RAGE. Pandemic was able to get out, and he was able to get back in control to hit the MAIM MACHINE onto Rage. Sledge Hammer broke it up and the battle continued. Rush eventually got the tag back into the match and worked on Rush with the ADRENALINE RUSH. Another tag to Pandemic later and they hit the MAIM MACHINE again, this time with Rage kicking out of it. Rush saw the opportunity however, and went up to his THE TEMPEST to pin Rage to the mat.
āHere are your winners, and the NEW AWC Tag Team Champions, Rush & Pandemic!ā
Rush and Pandemic celebrated their victory over Rage and Sledge Hammer as Thakur came to the ring personally to hand the winners the AWC Tag Team Championships. Rage and Sledge Hammer made their way to the back with Rage struggling to walk, but Sledge Hammer was there for his partner and they made it to the back together.
As Rush and Pandemic were celebrating, the Defenders of Aethra made their way to the ring and stepped in the ropes. Thakur grabbed the microphone.
Thakur: I forgot to mention this, but as the winners of Thakurās Tag Team Tournament, you have earned the right to defend your AWC Tag Team Championships at the upcoming Supercard. Your challengers are Hack and Slash, the Defenders of Aethra!
The crowd clapped and the two teams stared each other down for a little while.
In the back, Rage and Sledge Hammer made it to the locker room, with Sledge Hammer sitting Rage down in the chair.
Sledge Hammer: Hey Rage, I wanted to say, even though we lost, we made a pretty good team.
Rage: Yeahā¦ I think so too.
Sledge Hammer: What do you say we stay as a tag team for a little while, and potentially become the tag team champions somewhere down the line?
Rage: Iām glad you asked. Letās do it.
Rage and Sledge Hammer shook hands and the unity was formed.
Sledge Hammer: Wait, so, do you want me to join the Rebellion, or should you come back to the Order?
Rage: To be honest, I think the civil war is pretty stupid. The teams in this tournament were usually a mix of Order and Rebellion members, and I think we did pretty well regardless. I wouldnāt worry too much about it. If the Rebellion gives you trouble, Iāll have your back.
Sledge Hammer: Likewise with the Order.
The camera then heads to the ring and the announcer stands in the ring one more time.
"This next contest, is forā¦"
?: Wait a moment!
The crowd boos and Crush makes his way to the ring.
Crush: Hold on. I wasnāt informed of there being any tournaments being held. I could have easily entered and defeated anyone in the competition, for I am Crush, the mightiest Gladiator!
The crowd laughs and boos at the same time as a man in red face paint and greenish armor makes his way to the ring. He looks like Probation, but he has blond hair, so no one was sure. He steps into the ring and looks at Crush. He then takes his microphone and speaks.
?: You may know me as Probation, little Crush. However, do not be fooled. I am going to destroy you in front of the Aethran fans. Call me, Siege.
The crowd begins to chant āSiegeā and a referee gets into the ring to start a match.
Siege d. Crush (3) via Pinfall (AETHRAN CRIPPLER) 1.5*
Siege completely destroys Crush. He hits him with a few Siege Stunners to kick things off and throws Crush into the ropes for a skull crushing Lariat. Afterwards, he picked Crush up and hit him with a vertical Piledriver that he calls the AETHRAN CRIPPLER. After that, Crush was pinned and taken to the hospital.
With that distraction out of the way, the announcer steps back in and begins his announcement.
āThe following contest is the finals of the Aethra Warfare Cup, and it is for the AWC World Championship!ā
The crowd begins to cheer some more.
āIntroducing first, standing at 6ā10 weighing in at 355 pounds, representing the Gladiator Rebellion Division C, SCAR!ā
Scar makes his way to the ring and steps in, ready to fight.
āAnd his opponent, standing at 6ā6 weighing in at 315 pounds, he is the leader of the Gladiator Order Division C, representing the New Guard, CATACLYSM!ā
Cataclysm makes his way to the ring and steps in it, ready to fight Scar.
Both Cataclysm and Scar stare each other down and the referee holds up the AWC World Championship Belt. After handing the belt to the Taskmaster, the bell rings and the match begins.
Cataclysm (1) d. Scar via Pinfall (CATASTROPHIC) .5*
The match starts off hot and heavy with Scar throwing Cataclysm into the ropes and hitting a huge Decapitator, followed by a Gladiator Piledriver. He went for a quick cover, but Cataclysm kicked out. The two of them would go back and forth inside and outside the ring (but mostly outside), and they hit several big moves on each other. However, it was Cataclysm hitting the CATASTROPHIC on Scar that got the win.
āYour winner, and the NEW AWC World Champion, Cataclysm!ā
The Taskmaster handed Cataclysm the belt and he celebrated in the ring. Cyclone, Decimator, and Hellrazor all made their way to the ring and celebrated their leaderās victory. Scar left the ring and made his way to the back. Cataclysm had help putting the belt around his waist from Cyclone as Decimator handed him a microphone.
Cataclysm: The New Guard, we arenāt new anymore. Tonight, I stand tall as the top of the food chain! I stand here as the AWC World Heavyweight Champion! I donāt care if itās the Order or the Rebellion that tries to take this title from me, but I will not let anyone take this away from me for as long as I live. We will stand here, not underneath the powers of the other divisions, but as our own unit. This is the era, of the Gladiator Republic!
The crowd applauds this announcement and Cataclysm celebrates his victory as the cameras fade to black.
Tl:Dr
Hack (1) & Slash (1) d. Curtis Freeman (6) & Samuel Snyder via Pinfall (AETHRAN DOMINATION) 2*
Minister of War appeared on the Thunderdome to speak his mind, leading to an argument between Thunder and Minister of War in the dome. Minister of War left the dome without any further incident.
Havoc (2) w/ Dark Menace d. Devastator (1) w/Aethran Taskmaster via Pinfall (Gothic Skull Spike) 1.5*
Alpha Female d. Aethran Overmaster in an Aethran Deathmatch via Pinfall (DIRE STRAPH) DUD
Rush & Pandemic (2) d. Rage (4) & Sledge Hammer (1) via Pinfall (THE TEMPEST) 1.75* (Rush & Pandemic are the first ever AWC Tag Team Champions!)
Siege d. Crush (3) via Pinfall (AETHRAN CRIPPLER) 1.5*
Cataclysm (1) d. Scar via Pinfall (CATASTROPHIC) .5* (Cataclysm is the first ever AWC World Champion!)

And with that, Card 39 is done, and that wraps up the tournament arc. Now we have 6 more cards before our Supercard, but to be honest, I don't know where to start. The only confirmed match for said supercard is a Tag Team title match between the Defenders of Aethra and the new Tag Team champions, but not much else.
