For anyone who's not familiar, JD Michaels has wisely dropped the Shawn Michaels "homage" and is now calling himself JD Maverick. He's got a new look that's less reminiscent of Shawn's and should hopefully get a chance to step out and make his own name for himself now. Maybe now he'll be known as something more than "Mr. April Hunter". ;D
seriously, I like this guy as a performer and think he has some potential. You can check out the results of mine in the fed forum to see how I'm using JD in Total Glory Wrestling.

Yeah I have started using him as JD Maverick as well. He is also in my group of top contenders for the FCCW Heavyweight championship.

Would this involve a major overhaul of his card to incorporate, or has he kept the same in-ring style?

As far as I know it is in name only and really you don't need to change anything on the card. He is currently teamed with Pat Buck as the TST aka The Top Shelf but that doesn't mean you could not put him with someone else that we currently have in the LOTF or LOW sets and continue with said team/stable. I know I will use that team name in the near future when LOTF II comes out.

JD is working his way up the ladder in my developmental fed NWA--Northeast. So far holding his own against the devious Larry Sweeney. A solid midcarder, but in line for a title shot against Claudio.
