I think that if we do Kickstarter, it would be for one of 2 things:
1. Something that we are not sure if we will have enough ongoing sales to invest in a big printing of, but is something that would be of interest to game fans. That way there is less risk and the opportunity is there if enough folks are behind it.
2. Some larger project, most likely in conjunction with a 3rd party where we need to raise funds and publicity.

Kickstarter is cool, but I will never use Patrion, that site is run by crap people.

I do use Patreon to support some things but I gotta be honest, I feel like Promoter Prime is already the Filsinger Universe's Patreon, and I wouldn't be too crazy about double-dipping.

Set full of enhancement wrestlers (Iron Mike Sharpe, Mulkey's, Italian Stallion, etc) or if there's currently a lot of signed wrestlers who may not be very well known and unlikely to get released anytime soon, if at all. 2. Unlikely but how much would it take to sign someone like Flair or Hogan. Maybe work something with Conrad Thompson's podcasts to get cards for Bischoff, Anderson, Schiavone, JR, Prichard & Angle. |

THESE projects I can see myself backing: 1.) EARLY CLASSICS: I absolutely NEED this set, LOL! If someone is willing to pay $200 for the original, there's a built-in audience for this set to get funded! 2.) Official card for Hogan / Flair / Mick Foley / etc: Just like offering Bruno $5mill to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, maybe a bit of $$$ would go a long way in coaxing these TRUE legends of the sport to sign? (Although I do realize future legends would want money as well...) 3.) New artwork from Larry Snelly: I've said it several times that Snelly is the reason I first got into this game, and I'd be more than willing to pay for new Snelly artwork! I'm not sure about other projects, but THESE are the ones that I'd cough up some good cash for!  Todd C WTIC

I could see a Kickstarter or Pateron for help in signing a big name talent to the game. Outside of that Tom has made this game from day one for us, keeping the cost low but always giving us more then we pay for. I think if we could help him in getting a big name to the game I could see that happening but nothing else really.

Yes we have cards of the bucks, Kenny, hangman and some others but the likes of penta, private party, FTR, all the new or less known talent. Plus how cool would a shaq or sting card be. |
