I've seen alot of tabletop/board game companies using these for exclusive limited content and was curious if filsinger would ever do the same. Think it could be pretty cool say a 2 or 3 month Kickstarter with the higher package you go for the more cards you get or maybe match rulesets or a exclusive gameboard.
Thoughts?

Headlocked wasn't their item they just gave a bit of bonus content for it...they did do a kickstarter for the COTG Live Event. I believe it's one of those things that's been discussed but not implemented.

The higher tiers having a few packs and maybe a game board coyld be pretty cool. Knowing it's a limited time offer as well would make it all the more interesting.

I feel like there would have to be a reason for it. A lot of brand new game companies do it so they don't have to up-front the cost of printing all of the game components. What would the product be that is so costly and unknown that they would feel the need to do something like this? Also, FG did do a kickstarter to help fund their Live Event and the DVD for the event.

We have discussed kickstarter for some things as well as doing a patreon. I think a good chance you will see one or both in the coming year.

Yeah alot of game companies now are using Kickstarter for expansion packs to their base game. I have a lot of board games with friends and games that have been out years are doing Kickstarter to release exclusive content. It seems to sell well because people know once it's gone from there you can't get it

Of course kickstarter has some funky rules so will be interesting to see how this is handled.

I'm not really a big fan of the Kickstarter idea. I'd be okay with Patreon, though.
