Hey fella promoters I need your help. I've got a new fed than I created, and my secondary division will either belong to the United States belt, or the Cruiserweight belt. But I'm torn at what I should do. Should I have the secondary division the cruiserweight division, like TNA did with the X Division, and have the u.s. belt open for anybody who wants to challenge for it? Or should I have the u.s. title as a secondary Division, and have anybody challenge for the cruiserweight belt who qualifies? I have enough in my league to do either one, but I'm torn between the two because I love both ideas.

It really depends on what you want to do long term. I view the U.S. Title as a secondary title open to everyone. You are probably one of the top 5 contenders for the World Title if you have the U.S. Title. The U.S. Title would be either the peak of a career or a stepping stone to being a World Champion.
A more limited division, say a Cruiserweight division, should be it's own thing. In my fed, the Junior Title has World Title status.

To echo it, you can kind of tell Cruisers or light weight wrestlers are different because their strength and pin ratings all get better by like 1 in matches against lightweights. I myself use the following: 1. World Heavyweight 2. World Tag Team 3. United States 3. Television Title 4. World Women’s Title I am debating about adding a “Special Matches” title as well, but we shall see.

So in my second incarnation, I did weight classes and found it was a very different game but still fun. I think you need to kind of go weight classes or not, its not something you can go halfway on lol. I decided against it on my latest reboot cause I didnt like have to keep figuring out which weight class someone should be in and would it throw my numbers off. Plus I very much like to have ONE UNIFIED champion on top, I dont like multiple top guys or two brands.
I currently have AVALON HEAVYWEIGHT (in this timeline, North & South America are North & South Avalon since Britain hired Columbus in this timeline) Intermediate (depending on the time period the title changes name slightly ... Interstate, Intercontinental, Interplanetary and Intertribal) HEAVY METAL (this title came about due to Andrew Carnegies contributions to help get the federation originally started. The champion gets to choose which kind of match it is if title on the line) AVALON TAG TEAM AURORA WOMENS

Even without the only one I would consider doing away with would be the special matches title - just due to the roster’s size.

I always liked the HEAVY METAL name so I kind of gave it an actual background since my fed dates back to 1946. It also makes things interesting where the champion gets to choose which kind of match takes place in the title match. Buck Steele killed it making them all cage matches. Right now Payback is utilizing the rule having matches be titan hardcore matches.

Yeah - I get that. Are you merging your GWF and LOW feds? Again, my GWF Fed right now has such a small roster - using 2136 with the thinning of the herd (I'm really hoping for only new cards in 2137 to rebuild) - I mean there aren't enough male wrestlers on the roster to have more than three singles titles, the tag team titles are tough too as most of the teams only have one tag team.

So I play one fed throughout time, it's been implied MESMER is watching archive footage (kind of like ESPN classic to find out how to stop something that happened in the timeline.
Right now my fed has four eras: PIONEER ERA (1946-1979), LEGENDS ERA (1980-2079), CHAMPIONS ERA (2087-2186) and DYSTOPIAN ERA (2199-??). I do mix legends and indies and my Dystopian era is a mix of everyone (CZW and Brymstone guys went here instead as did Godsends final incarnation as he will eventually take control of what's left of Avalon and rule with his big card).
One fed throughout the ages with one title lineage so Andre and Savage held the same title that Endgame now has for me. My only regret is not doing a secondary tag or secondary womens title to bring my haul to six total titles (six would have fit perfect in my spreadsheet too).

I will definitely be checking out your results, brother!
