Pete amazingly yesterday was my FIRST ever match using vintage cards since charts were released (Road Warriors v The Stranglers) . I wasn't sure what to do . I might stick with just using them for vintage guys only in a match .

I Vintage Rules as a type of match variant. Higher chance of DQ for weapons or interference but lower DQ chance otherwise (like Turk's Stranglehold), and titles change hands on count out. Then I just use the new charts normally. All participating wrestlers must agree to the match though champions can make any title defense under vintage rules. That way wrestler can use normal rules or vintage and I can jump back and forth between charts.

I was thinking of doing that with the referees. Winner gets to pick who refs title match, etc.

so for me, vintage guys and guys like Thesz are usually Vintage....if the guys are from an era pre 90s, I have one of the wrestlers choose their preference...heels usually go for modern, faces tend to go for vintage. I dig this idea.
