Thanks sniperniles . After the Valiant Brothers thrashed the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and sent them packing, I was hoping they would carry that momentum into a showdown with the Legion of Doom. It has been a blast rolling out the feud. A singles match between Hawk and Luscious Johnny will be next followed by a showdown between Albano & Ellering…. The loser will be barred from ringside at the Maple Leaf Gardens title match!

Thanks for feedback cruefan68 . Sandman and Race tangled win a Falls Count Anywhere battle on television that was an absolute dud. I am hoping the Sandman has a better showing on the biggest stage the territory has to offer.

Thanks Pariah for the comments. Allen and Blanchard continue to trade wins back and forth. I look forward to the series of stipulation bouts between the two. I am also thinking about moving Blanchard into the tag team division at some point.

Thanks TTX . Three DUDs to close out the show is frustrating for sure. But I liked the face the heels cleaned house in the eight man tag team match. As well, Gordon Solie added to the drama when the action in the ring fell short. I am also looking forward to rolling out the chain match. Thanks for the comments! Winner: Fabulous Moolah * ½ Fabulous Moolah is interviewed by Gordon Solie and has no interest in going over her actions last week that ended up with her injury but she promises the fans that Mildred Burke has not seen the last of Moolah and she had better to continue to watch her back because her time is going to come. Shane Douglas w/ Francine v. George TragosReferee: Morgan Dollar There was some solid back and forth action between these two from bell to bell. Douglas gained the advantage and the fans were all over him until Tragos battled back including a series of double leg pick up to slams. Douglas rolled him up for a two and half count and then nailed Tragos with the PITTSBURGH PLUNGE for the three-count. Winner: Shane Douglas ** ½ Captain Lou Albano w/Valiant Brothers v. Paul Ellering w/Road WarriorsReferee: James Beard The loser of this one is barred from ringside for tomorrow night’s Canadian Open Tag Team Title Match between Road Warriors & Valiant Brothers. Albano is able to avoid a running lariat late in the match and gets his first offensive flurry which leads to a Scorpion Death Lock. Ellering submits and the Champions will be without their manager tomorrow night at Maple Leaf Gardens. Winner: Captain Lou Albano * Captain Lou Albano and the Valiant Brothers stop in with Gordon Solie to gloat and tells the fans they will be the next Canadian Open Tag Team Champions.“Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez v. Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & Warlord) w/ Mr. Fuji. Referee: Morgan Dollar Dollar causes some chaos before the bell sending Mr. Fuji to the back! The Powers of Pain appear off from the outset after the ejection of their manager however both sides are able to make key defensive tags to keep the momentum going back and forth. A Power Plex double team by the Powers of Pain against Williams does some damages but the action continued to go back and forth. Late, Warlord gets the upper hand after shoulder tackling Williams and then is joined by Barbarian for a POWER HEAD BUTT. The pin saves is blocked and Dollar makes the three count. Two fun editions of Ringside. That Londos vs. Von Goering match was intense. Great rivalries going with the Road Warriors vs. Valiant Brothers (I love the physical involvement of both managers as well) and Mildred Burke vs. Fabulous Moolah.

Well no surprise Race regained the gold. Though Roadies vs Valiants has been fun, I think some new blood in the tag ranks might be nice.
