Hi all.
‘Nature Boy’ Buddy Landel was billed from both Knoxville, TN and Jacksonville, FL. He was also declared the most influential wrestler from Kentucky by the state’s Governor and made a Kentucky Colonel!
So the question is, where should he bill billed from (if he were to have a Legends card, for example?)

I'd go with Knoxville, but you can make a case for Jacksonville too. To complicate matters he was even billed from "southern California" a time or two. I think you just have to pick one of the two main ones and go with it.

He was from "Southern California" in JCP, and I'd actually lean towards that. Even in Smoky he portrayed himself as a big-time Hollywood star until he turned face late in the promotion's run.

He was only in JCP from early 85 until the end of that year, though. Granted, a lot happened in about nine months, but the bulk of his career it was either Jacksonville or Knoxville. I think to be safe I'd need to see three different Buddy cards. Can never have too much Nature Boy. |

I suppose you could list all the possible hometowns on his card. Athena has three hometowns listed on her Shimmer card.
