MWA Conflict - Episode 1 (3/14/2021) The inaugural event for the Magnificent Wrestling Association kicked off with a six match card broadcast from The World Records Banquet Hall in Bakersfield, CA, attendance 378. Match 1: Shazza McKenzie vs. DanhausenThe match started off with Danhausen playing to an appreciative crowd while Shazza quickly grew tired of his shenanigans. Shazza took control of the match with a series of strikes, even accomplishing a two count from a Northern Lights Suplex. Danhausen was able to turn the tide with a flurry of European uppercuts. Neither wrestler was able to maintain an advantage for long. Shazza lifted Danhausen up to the top turnbuckle for a likely superplex, but Danhausen grabbed his trademark jar of teeth from the corner. Danhausen poured the jar of teeth into Shazza's mouth, then sent the teeth flying with a high speed tornado DDT from the top. Danhausen attempted to follow this up with a choke slam that was reversed by Shazza into a pump handle gut buster. Incsensed at the indignity of the teeth, Shazza tossed Danhausen out of the ring. They brawled near the ring steps until Shazza hit a wheelbarrow bulldog onto the steel steps. The cumulative damage to Danhausen's ribs was too much and he was unable to answer the referee's ten-count. Winner via Count-Out: Shazza McKenzie Match 2: Jon Davis vs. Dominic GarriniRealizing his opponent's power advantage, Garrini captured strikes from Davis and was able to transition them into a variety of submission moves. Both competitors ended up brawling on the floor but managed to roll back in by the seven-count. Davis sent Garrini flying with a Pounce as Garrini re-entered the ring. A huge corner lariat followed, sending Garrini reeling. A cat and mouse game began with Garrini trying to roll out of the ring and Davis sending him back in. Garrini transitioned a flying knee into a backbreaker followed by a deadlift German suplex. Davis was then smashed with a flying elbow drop from the top, something well outside of Garrini's usual repertoire. Garrini sunk in a deep Kimura on Davis that nearly led to a submission. Davis made it to the ropes and both wrestlers went tumbling outside. You could feel the crowd's unease at seeing another count out here. Garrini and Davis threw huge bombs, but Davis came out on top hitting a Spiral Bomb against the ringpost before sending Garrini crashing into the wood panelled floor. Davis threw Garrini back in the ring and put him away with 3 Second Around The World (Argentine Backbreaker spun into a powerbomb drop). Winner via Pinfall: Jon Davis Match 3: Killer Kelly vs. Hallowicked (with Frightmare)The match started with an intense staredown between the two competitors. An attempted vicious handshake from Hallowicked was twisted into a top wristlock by Kelly. An attempted contest of strength came out in favor of Hallowicked. He took a few shots at Kelly's arm while trying to keep her grounded. Following a big shoulder tackle, Hallowicked flew from the top turnbuckle with a picture-perfect cross body block that got a one-count on Kelly. Unfazed, Hallowkicked charged in with a Yakuza Kick for a two-count. Never Wake Up (crossleg DDT) sent Kelly crashing into the mat but still only garnered a two-count. Hallowicked threw Kelly out of the ring as MWA ownership started to worry about their security deposit at this point. Kelly made her way to the apron & was able to catch Hallowicked with a fast left cross that sent him stumbling. She made her way to the top turnbuckle only to be distracted by Frightmare jumping up on the ring apron. This gave Hallowicked the time he needed to scale the ropes and crush Kelly with a top rope fisherman's buster. He kept the move locked on and scored a definitive three-count. Winner via Pinfall: Hallowicked Match 4: Omega Flight (Andrew Everett & Trevor Lee) vs. Team Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo)Vox and Lee started the match for their teams as Lee hopped over a legsweep from Vox, followed by a kick to her knee and a clothesline. In a hurry to see the Bakersfield nightlife, Lee went to his Carolina Caveman I finisher (small package driver) for an extremely close 2.8 count. Vox rolled to the floor and was levelled by a tope con hilo from Lee. She then scurried to her team's side of the ring, re-entered and tagged in Delmi Exo. Ducking a high kick from Lee, Exo locked him in a Dragon Sleeper, then transitioned into an Ace Crusher & elbow drop combination. Vox tagged back in and sent Lee flying toward his corner with headscissors, allowing him to tag in Everett. A falcon arrow from Everett put Vox on the mat followed by a moonsault press. Vox couldn't catch a break as a springboard dropkick sent her flying from the ring where Everett then sailed into her with a graceful corkscrew plancha. Everett leapt to the top turnbuckle and landed a Shooting Skyfall Press on Vox as she rolled back in the ring. Exo tried to break-up a pinfall attempt but Lee managed to catch her with a running double stomp. Vox attempted a kick out that was just a fraction of a second too late. Winner via Pinfall: Omega Flight Match 5: Eddie Kingston vs. Kc SpinelliAlways one for decorum, Kingston rushed Spinelli during the introductions with a knee to the gut. His attempt to bite her forehead was thwarted, followed by an Irish whip and a roaring clothesline from Spinelli. Spinelli hit a flurry of offense with a corner crossbody block, a basement dropkick, and a Tiger Bomb. No sooner had Eddie regained his footing than he was floored by a top rope clothesline! In a questionable move, Spinelli threw Kingston to ringside where they began a wild brawl. Kingston broke two vinyl records over Spinelli's head, but Spinelli grabbed an empty pitcher and smashed it into Kingston's midsection and then his lower back. Neither competitor regained the advantage when back in the ring until Kingston finally managed to bite her forehead. The referee cautioned Kingston who attempted to go right back to the head biting. Spinelli countered it with a chinbreaker that left Kingston dazed. A turnbuckle whip from Spinelli backfired as Kingston rebounded towards here with a huge lariat. Kingston followed this up with a pair of fistdrops from the second turnbuckle. The Sliding D had Spinelli hurt but she managed to counter a Yakuza Kick, then trash talked Kingston and shoved him into the corner. A Booty Splash into the corner was followed with a fisherman's suplex. Both competitors were dropped when they both went for clotheslines. Kingston recovered first and dropped Spinelli with a huge lariat, getting a two-count from the cover. Increasingly frustrated, Kingston tossed Spinelli out of the ring. This proved a mistake when Spinelli Tiger Suplexed him into the merch table which didn't break! Both competitors made it back to the ring as the ring announcer made a two minute warning announcement. Spinelli looked worried for a moment, then kicked Kingston in the gut and Tiger Bombed him into the mat. She climbed to the top rope and landed the Spin Cycle (moonsault) for the three count!Winner via Pinfall: Kc SpinelliMatch 6 (Main Event): Jordynne Grace vs. Chris DickinsonBoth competitors showed mutual respect with a handshake after the bell rang. Neither wrestler could get the advantage during the lock-up, pushing each other back from corner to corner several times over. Grace ran the ropes towards Dickinson who demonstrated tremendous strength in dropping her to the mat with a military press slam! A follow-up wheelbarrow German suplex had Grace rocked. Dickinson attempted a headlock takeover but Grace powered one of his arms back into a hammerlock. Grace tangled Dicksinson into a cobra clutch before sending him headfirst into the mat with a cobra clutch suplex. Fall From Grace (Vaderbomb) got a two count on Dickinson. A backpack stunner and a spinebuster left Dickinson in agony on the mat. He rolled out of the ring and grabbed ahold of Grace's leg, dragging her outside and shoving her into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Dicksinson dropped Grace with a dragon suplex. A series of corner clotheslines had Grace stumbling. Dicksinson went for a snapmare into a kick to the back, but Grace fired up and smashed Dicksinson into the mat with a Samoan drop. Diamond Dust laid Dickinson out but a pinfall attempt only got a two count. A Michinoku Driver put Dickinson back down and a second Fall From Grace was enough to get the three count!
Winner via Pinfall: Jordynne Grace
Next week's show will feature Pepper Parks vs. Ultramantis Black, Santana & Ortiz vs. The Bird and the Bee, Cherry Bomb vs. Deonna Purrazzo, and more!

MWA Conflict - Episode 2 (3/212021) The second event for the Magnificent Wrestling Association kicked off with a six match card broadcast from The Mansionin Costa Mesa, CA, attendance 219. Match 1: Courtney Rush (with Kc Spinelli) vs. Frightmare (with Hallowicked)Tensions were high and the crowd was amped for this opening contest between members of We Stand On Guard and The Terror Initiative. Frightmare slapped aside an offered handshake, only to find himself flying towards the turnbuckles with a quick arm drag from Rush. Rush laid in a series of punches in the corner before dropping an elbow onto the downed Frightmare. Frightmare sprinted towards Rush only to get caught with a T-bone suplex. A Skyward Suplex (Angle Slam) from Rush led to a two-count on Frightmare. A short clothesline sent Frightmare stumbling. Rush took advantage of the opportunity and hit a big top rope crossbody. Frightmare took a breather outside and Rush pushed pash Hallowicked to get to him. Frightmare sprinted at Rush and sent her flying over the announce table with a Yakuza kick. A leg drop to Rush back inside the ring kept her down long enough for a crossbody block of his own for an incredibly close two-count. Rush rolled outside and pulled Frightmare out by his leg. The Red Wedding (F-5) onto Frightmare hit hard enough that Hallowicked had to roll him back into the ring. This led to Spinelli & Hallowicked both brawling to the back. A second Skyward Slam was good enough for a 2.8 count, so Rush sent Frightmare crashing headfirst into the mat with a third Skyward Slam that got the three-count!
Winner via Pinfall: Courtney Rush Match 2: Jaka (with Chris Dickinson) vs. Rich SwannThe competitors started the match with a handshake. Neither wrestler could get the advantage for longer than a moment in a quick series of holds and reversals leading to double kip-ups and applause from the crowd. A flurry of aerial offense from Swann culminated in a Tornado DDT into a standing shooting star press. A superkick gave Jaka the advantage leading to a series of double chops to Swann's back and stomps in the corner until the referee broke it up. A Baisuke Knee from Jaka sent Swann flying through the ropes to the floor. Jaka climbed to the top turnbuckle to attempt a dive to the floor. Swann leapt onto the apron and springboarded into a top-rope hurracanrana before Jaka had a chance to get his balance. A tornado spin kick from Swann was enough for a 2.9 count on Jaka. A standing 450 splash impressed the crowd but was only enough for another two-count. The Fantastic Voyage (fisherman suplex driver) drilled Jaka into the mat and was enough for a close three-count for Swann. Winner via Pinfall: Rich Swann Match 3: The Bird and the Bee (Willow Nightingale & Solo Darling) vs. Santana & OrtizDarling and Ortiz started the match for their teams. Darling couldn't seem to keep Ortiz down for long with a series of headlocks and arm drags. Ortiz stopped to taunt her only to get hit with a huge spear! Ortiz quickly tagged in Santana and rolled out of the ring to vent his anger at some fans. Santana laid in some big forearm shots and kicks to Darling. His attempt for a pinfall via sunset flip was only good for a one-count. Unfazed, Santana rebounded from the ropes and hit a big boot that sent Darling skidding across the mat. She quickly tagged out to Nightingale who challenged Santana to a dance off. Santana instead whipped her into the ropes and dropped her with a back elbow smash. Santana chained a superkick into a death valley driver for a two-count on Nightingale. A springboard cutter into another superkick had Nightingale reeling. A Villano Killah (vertebreaker) spiked Nightingale into the mat neck first and was enough for Santana to get the three-count. Winner via Pinfall: Santana & Ortiz Match 4: AJ Gray vs. Madison EaglesGray and Eagles shook hands to start the match. Gray overcame Eagles' leverage advantage and took control via a test of strength. A shoulder tackle sent Eagles to the mat. Wasting no time, Gray quickly lifted her to the top turnbuckle, then sent her crashing back down with a Splash Mountain powerbomb! A quick frog splash from Gray left Eagles winded and in trouble. A spinebuster followed by a German suplex led to Eagles rolling out of the ring for a breather. Gray made the mistake of following and Eagles smashed his head into the merchandise table. The referee gave Eagles a strong warning and insisted they return to the ring. Eagles apologized to the referee before throw Gray back to the outside. A brawl around ringside followed with Eagles getting the advantage via some big stomps while Gray was down. Eagles took advantage of her opportunity and hit Hell Bound (Ushigoroshi) on Gray for a two-count. A roundhouse kick had Gray reeling only for Eagles to plant him with a big brainbuster. The Soaring Eagle (springboard moonsault) had Gray writhing on the ground clutching his midsection. Another roundhouse kick from Eagles is enough for a two-count on Gray. Eagles locked in cattle mutilation for over 30 seconds on Gray before he got a foot on the bottom rope. The hold wore down Gray enough for Eagles to heft him up for another Hell Bound which was enough for a definitive three-count. Winner via Pinfall: Madison Eagles Match 5: Deonna Purrazzo vs. Cherry BombPurrazzo spurned the offer of a handshake from Cherry Bomb before both wrestlers locked up. A corner whip by Purrazzo led to Cherry Bomb bouncing back from the turnbuckles with a running clothesline that turned Purrazzo inside out. A senton from the second turnbuckle from Cherry Bomb landed hard on Purrazzo. Cherry Bomb followed up with a flurry of turnbuckle smashes and corner knee strikes as Purrazo seemed completely off her game. An Irish whip from Cherry Bomb was followed by a superkick that landed squarely on Purrazzo's jaw. A second senton from the middle turnbuckle was enough for a two-count on Purrazzo. A jawbreaker and a sit out faceplant further dropped Purrazzo who seemed to lack an answer for Cherry Bomb's offense. Purrazzo rolled out of the ring only to be pursued by Cherry Bomb. Cherry Bomb rounded one of the ring posts only to get blindsided by Hallowicked who seemed to appear from nowhere. The referee called for the bell as Frightmare also scrambled over and started laying shots into Cherry Bomb. Purrazzo went scrambling to the back while Courtney Rush and Kc Spinelli ran past her for the save. They managed to scare The Nightmare Initiative away and carried Cherry Bomb to the back. It seems Rush's victory earlier this evening was not appreciated by The Initiative. Winner by DQ: Cherry Bomb Match 6 (Main Event): Pepper Parks vs. Ultramantis BlackParks ran down the crowd before the match, calling Costa Mesa the Knott's Berry Farm of Orange County. "It's where you go when you can't afford Disneyland." Between his attempts to antagonize the crowd and earlier behavior from Ultramantis's cohorts the crowd was uncertain of who to root for in this match. Ultramantis dazed Parks with a pair of jabs followed by a flurry of chops to the chest. A swinging neckbreaker dropped Parks to the mat. Ultramantis sent Parks into the ropes with an Irish whip before sending him flying with a back body drop. A second Irish whip led to a double clothesline with both wrestlers falling to the mat. The grounded Ultramantis shoved Parks to the floor and then rolled out after him. An elevated STO to the wooden dance floor had Parks reeling. Back in the ring, Ultramantis leapt towards Parks and caught him a lungblower. A second lungblower dropped Parks but was only enough for a one count. Ultramantis charged Parks with a running forearm but Parks managed to reverse it with a drop toe hold. Parks dazed Ultramantis with a big boot and then dropped him back to the mat with a big headbutt. A suplex into the corner rocked Ultramantis and sent him rolling to the floor. Parks follwed him out and punched and kicked Ultramantis around the entire ring while the crowd wildly booed them both. A scoop powerslam back in the ring was enough for Parks to get a two-count on Ultramantis. Feeling he had the advantage, Parks slowly climbed to the top turnbuckle but Ultramantis recovered in time to knock Parks' legs out from under him, then crashed Parks into the mat with a musclebuster. Ultramantis leapt for another lungblower on Parks but only got a one-count. Parks reversed a corner whip by Ultramantis and followed it up with a big kick to Ultramantis's masked face. A gutwrench powerbomb planted Ultramantis. Parks quickly picked Ultramantis back up and hit Varsity Blues (single knee facebreaker) that had Ultramantis rolling around clutching his face. Parks swung Ultramantis over with the Pepper Shaker (swinging fisherman suplex) and held on for an extremely close two-count. Unfazed, Parks waited for Ultramantis to regain his footing before leaping at him and catching him with Nemesis Enforcer (flatliner) for a decisive three-count.
Winner via Pinfall: Pepper Parks
Things are certainly getting tense between The Nightmare Initiative and Stand On Guard. Deonna Purrazzo is furious about her disqualification loss and has asked MWA management for another singles match next week. We'll also see Best Friends vs. Omega Flight, Jordynne Grace vs. Madison Eagles, and we'll hear from Eddie Kingston.
