NWA WRESTLING SHOWCASE: TV TAPING

The show opens with the brawl that ended last week’s episode as we go to taped comments from Magnum TA!

MAGNUM TA: “Nick Aldis, you talk about Strickly Business, I’m all business that’s why I got the nick name the Boss! Coming up on the 17th it’s going to be me and you, and my chance to finally be the NWA World’s Champion!”

LODI RAIDER 209: “On the heels of last week’s brawl, headed into this week’s PPV UnFinished Business we are just counting down the final days even minutes before the clash between Magnum TA and Nick Aldis for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship! I promise the fire is going to be hotter this week on Wrestling Showcase as TA & Aldis will face off in 6 man action tonight, Robert Gibson VS Jay Briscoe…the Western States Heritage Championship Tournament match Bryan Danielson and Pete Dunn…….”

Tully Blanchard, Steve Corino, and 2 Cold Scorpio’s victories are highlighted as we are set for the last 1st round match of this Western States Heritage Title Tournament! After both competitors entered the ring, Taz was on the stage, Finley was spotted in the fans as was JJ Dillon w/Tully Blanchard.

It was a pure style match from the opening bell as the 2 exchanged a handshake. Danielson took control from the beginning using his vast knowledge of Wrestling holds. Dunne managed to gain advantage after Danielson missed a dive through the ropes to the outside. Dunne using a variety of holds softened up the American Dragon for the Bitter End…….1..2..3….Danielson was hurt, Dunne looking down at his fallen opponent, picks him up delivering another Bitter End…..looking down again at his fallen opponent yelled “I’m the Dragon Slayer!” and leaves as EMT’s arrives to help the fallen Danielson.
WINNER PETE DUNNE

After a look back at the brawl that ended last week’s show, Jay & Robert entered the ring as their partners are barred from the ring area……Eddie Edwards makes his way out!

EDDIE EDWARDS: “Since we have a 3 way coming up for the Tag Belts, let’s do this now and see who’s going to UnFinished Business with the advantage!”

The 3 wrestlers started to brawl as Briscoe was sent to the floor as Edwards used a plancha to Briscoe, Gibson sent Edwards to the guardrails as he rolled Briscoe into the ring. Gibson took the fight to Briscoe trying an elimination pin on Briscoe only for Edwards to break it up sending Gibson over the top rope, hitting a quick Boston Knee Party…..Edwards pins Briscoe……
JAY BRISCOE IS ELIMINATED….Gibson and Edwards are remaining and exchanged holds until The Briscoe’s, Morton, and Mack showed up distracted the referee not seeing Davey Richards come in and super kick Gibson, as Edwards looked at Richards, Richards decks Edwards with brass knuckles….dragging Gibson over Edwards….the referee turns after helping security escort the non-competitors out sees Gibson’s pin…1…2…3!
WINNER ROBERT GIBSON

You see Pete Dunne walking towards the exit as Taz walks up to him!

TAZ: “Kid, I like your style, I like how you win. You don’t need to give me any answer at all….I know you’re focused on winning the Western States belt……I’ll get your answer next week….Champ!”

Taz, extended his hand out. Pete Dunne looks at Taz, smiling as he leaves through the door! As Dunne was waiting for his car to be dropped off by a valet…..JJ Dillon walks up……

JJ DILLON: “Mr. Blanchard and I can use a guy like you! Just think you can be an associate at Tully Blanchard Enterprises!”

Dillon waves a limousine to pick up Dunne…….Dunne smiles as the valet pulls up with Dunne’s car…..Smiling at Dillon as he gets into his car and drives away!

A brief history that leads us to tonight’s 6 man tag team match and UnFinished Business NWA World’s Title Match is shown!

The 6 wrestlers brawled around ringside before order was restored. TA had both McGuinness and Finley out matched as Hansen tagged in. Hansen was in control until Aldis was tagged in as the NWA Champion kept the big guy on the ground with submission holds, As the match broke down and everyone was brawling the referee did not see Kamille enter the ring low blow to Rowe as Finley made the pin….1..2..3!
WINNERS NICK ALDIS, NIGEL MCGUINNESS, & FIT FINLEY

As the NWA Champion and his crew was exiting the building David Marquez intercepted them!

DAVID MARQUEZ: “What is she doing here?......”

NICK ALDIS: “This is my Insurance policy….That’s all you need to know!”

As TA & War Machine gave chase, the champion and his crew jumped into a limousine and sped away……..NWA/WS Logo to dark!
