You see 900 fans gathered at the Globe Theater, as the laser lights with the smoky atmosphere of the venue kicks off the show. Austin Aires with the Fite TV belt, strolls to the ring with Matt Sydal and Roderick Strong flanking him!
AUSTIN AIRES: “So yet another promotion, and here I am, the current Fite TV Champion! You see, HFW started this belt……gone…..came back….gone! LRP came in…..went away…..I guess you wanting an answer to this history lesson? These are all promotions that had this in common…..The Fite TV Title…..Which I am holding right here! The NWA Wrestling Showcase here on Fite is the latest promotion and I’m your Fite TV champion plain and simple……………”
EEEEEE-Li DDDRRRRRake! Booms out as the former Fite TV Champion strolls out onto the venue’s stage!
ELI DRAKE: “Yeah…..yeah….yyyyyyeah! Let me talk to ya…..History sucks dummy! But you want to talk about history…….History shows that Austin Aires is a chicken, not a champion! I’ve never got my rematch for the belt! Until tonight, (pulls out a paper) This here is a contract, yeah those past promotions used the belt, but Fite TV owns it, and contractual obligations of it! I got my rematch, and it also states those 2 morons has to stay away from the ringside area! I’ll see ya later, champ…..I mean chicken!”
LODI RAIDER 209: “Welcome to the debut of NWA Wrestling Showcase……Our main event is for the Fite TV Championship, we’ll also see NWA World’s Champion Nick Aldis in a non title match as he will face Scorpio Sky, and tag team action will kick off this debut as The Crusher and The Sandman will face Konnan’s Rottweilers!”

The 2 teams started the match in the ring but is broke down and turned into a brawl that ended up at 1 of the 2 bars close to ringside as the 4 wrestlers continued to brawl as the referee counted 20 thus making this a double countout both team ignored the bell as it was ringing. Romero has The Sandman as Konnan has a bottle of Jack…..Sandman moves as Konnan hits his own man…..Crusher and Homicide was back in the ring fighting as security finally breaks up the chaos!
DOUBLE COUNTOUT
David Marquez is with the number 1 contender to the NWA World’s Title…..Barry Windham!
DAVID MARQUEZ: “Barry Windham, on April 17 at UnFinished Business, you’ll get your shot at Nick Aldis for the NWA World Championship, a man you pinned in Boston right before the national shutdown because of the pandemic…….”
BARRY WINDHAM: “ David, I don’t mean to cut you off! I did pin the champion, in a tag team match, different than a title match! I know Nick is ready, I have been watching tape, and working out, I’m ready………”
The NWA World’s Champion strolls into the camera’s view!
NICK ALDIS: BW, are you ready? On April 17, the world will find out, and I will also! As your champion, the world’s champion, the champion that represents the National Wrestling Alliance, I’m ready…..(pokes Windham’s chest) Watch and learn…What Strictly Business is all about!”
We see Scorpio Sky waiting in the ring as Nick Aldis walks out of the entrance with Nigel McGuinness, Aldis has the microphone.
NICK ALDIS: “Scorpio, I know you’re a world class athlete. I am the dealer, and here’s the deal….I win, you’ll never get a title match as long as I’m champion. If you can go the distance, or beat me, like that’ll ever happen……You’ll have a upcoming title match!”
Scorpio Sky waived the champion over and is excited for his opportunity at the NWA World’s Champion!
NON TITLE CHAMPIONSHIP ELIMINATION MATCH

NICK ALDIS w/Nigel McGuinness

SCORPIO SKY
The 2 start the match with the traditional collar & elbow hook up as Aldis backs Scorpio into the corner, pats Scorpio on the chest mocking him……Scorpio with a slap to the champ’s face and the 2 trade blows, and forearm shots. The champ quickly grounds his opponent with some mat skills. The champion over confidence was Scorpio’s chance as he now has the champion on the run. The champion tried to escape only for Scorpio taking out both Aldis and McGuinness with a suicide dive over the ropes and onto the two British wrestlers! Scorpio has Aldis in trouble as he hits an Ace Cutter and a 2 count. As Scorpio was set to hit a move off the turnbuckle McGuinness shakes the ropes making Scorpio lose his balance enough for Aldis to recover and slam Scorpio off the turnbuckle onto the mat. Barry Windham walks out as does JJ Dillon trying to get BW to leave the ring area as the champion softened up his opponent enough to get a tap out from Scorpio as he locked in the King’s Lynn Cloverleaf!

After the match The Champion and McGuinness mocked Windham……..Windham shoved Dillon away and has the microphone!
BARRY WINDHAM: “Ok McGuinness let’s see what you got, you and I next week…..Aldis take notes….I’m going to take you to school………”
JJ DILLON: “No match, no match……….”
BARRY WINDHAM: “I don’t need you or Blanchard….Dillon….I’m doing this on my own right now!.....next week let’s go!
The Brits smiled as McGuinness has a microphone.
NIGEL MCGUINNESS: “ all right sunshine…..you got it….next week!”
David Marquez is holding an old but familiar championship belt!
DAVID MARQUEZ: “Next week on NWA Wrestling Showcase 1st round of the Western States Heritage Championship tournament will begin! Highlighted by Ricky Morton ½ of the NWA World’s Tag Team Champions facing Tully Blanchard w/JJ Dillon!”
RICKY MORTON: “David, Tully and I go way back, we know each other’s moves, and what we’re capable of doing! JJ Dillon you come to ringside, I’ll have Robert with me just to make sure you stay your nose outta our business……whoo!”
ROBERT GIBSON: “JJ, I’m going to watch you, Tully you’ve got your hands full….Rock-N-Roll is here to stay!”
As R-N-R leaves Larry Zbyszko enters the camera’s view.
LARRY ZBYSZKO: “ how can you have a tournament to determine a western states Heritage Champion, when I am already the champion?”
DAVID MARQUEZ: “Simple that title was retired, thus vacating the championship. The NWA & the promoters of Wrestling Showcase has reinstated the championship! So you’ll have to compete in the tournament to regain the championship!”
LARRY ZBYSZKO: “ I’m not in the tournament, this is a fraud. I have the original belt right here, and I’m the champion……I’m getting my lawyer on the phone right now!”
LODI RAIDER 209: “It’s time for our main event, and I am being joined by Willie Mack! Who will face the Fite TV Champion or whomever it is on April 17!.”
WILLIE MACK: “I can’t wait, UnFinished Business, I don’t care who’s champion……I’m ready and I’m after some gold!”

The 2 wrestlers wasted little time hooking up and jockeying for position as Drake takes charge using his power advantage over the champion. Drake was in control until he got a little cocky as Aires makes a brief comeback, Drake managed to hit his Gravy Train finisher outta nowhere….1….2…the champion has his foot on the ropes! Drake continued his dominance until a missed time change into the turnbuckle as Aires avoided a shoulder charge by the challenger as Drake hits the post…..Aires moves him into position and hits a 450…..1…2….Drake gets a shoulder up…Aires hits a brainbuster, Drake rolls to the outside only for a suicide plancha by the champion! The champion rolls his pray into the ring, stops and chats with some fans around ringside as he returns to the ring he grabs his opponent…..Drake rolls up Aires in a small package….1…2…Aires escapes…Aires charges Drake only for Drake to catch him and uses an atomic drop, placed the champion on the top turnbuckle….. elevator superplex….1…2…Aires again escaped rolled outside the ring where Drake followed….Drake tried to whip the champion into the guardrails…reverse Drake is thrown hard into the guardrails…..the champion rolls into the ring And measures his prey…heat seeking missile…..Aires rolls his opponent back into the ring….frog splash….and hooks in the Last Chancery…..Drake tries to hold on by ultimately tapped out!

You see the Fite TV Champion celebrating as he climbed the turnbuckle showing off his gold strap looking towards the announcer’s table at Willie Mack as we see the NWA-WS logo and we fade to black!

As for the NWA World’s Title that will travel and will post some matches around the world from time to time, example just rolled Antonio Inoki VS Nick Aldis from Japan that I’ll post just before the UnFinished Business PPV.
