Here is how I do my ratings...
BASIC POINTS
Pin win (regular televised match) = 6 pts Pin win (dark match) = 3 pts Fin win (regular televised match) = 7 pts Fin win (dark match) = 4 pts DQ/Countout win (regular televised match) = 2 pts DQ/Countout win (dark match) = 1 pts Loss (regular televised match) = 1 pt Loss (dark match) = 0 pt Title win (fin) = 12 pts Title win (pin) = 10 pts Title win (DQ/CO) = 3 pts
BONUS POINTS
PPV win = 1 pt Match of the Night win = 2 points MotN loss = 1 point Win Galactic Title = 5 pts Win GWF Tag Belts = 4 pts Win IP Title = 3 pts Win Jr Title (eligible first 3 years in league) = 1 pt Promoter's discretion = as many points as desired (usually only 1 or 2)
That is the easy part...
To get each wrestler's (or team's) rating, do the following...
- Take their career points and multiple by 0.01 --- This allows for a wrestlers career to influence his heat. Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, etc.
- Take 100% of the most recent card, 90% of the prior card, 80% of the card before that, etc. --- This indicates the current heat and is the VAST bulk of the rating.
- Add or subtract the wrestler/team's current winning/losing streak. --- If a "Jobber" goes on a tear and wins 4 or 5 straight, than he would definitely start to get the attention of bookers and fans alike, so this factors that. By the same token, if your Super Stud drops 7 straight, there is no way he deserves a title shot.
I run my fed out of an Access DB I created years ago, so all my rankings are recalculated after each card automatically. I do NOT recommend you trying to calculate each guy's rating every card.

I am currently 1/6th of the way through 2085, and here are my current rankings for each belt (my rosters are SLIGHTLY different from cannon)
Galactic Champion: K.O. Keller #1: Morpheus 34.93 #2: Caiman 34.15 #3: Mighty Grogan 29.93 #4: Torin Caelum 29.68 #5: Cosmos 29.41 #6: Commander Sam 28.59 #7: Jammer 24.50 #8: Omega 17.5 #9: Santon 16.98
I have qualifiers that determine who is eligible for each belt, and currently, there are only 11 wrestlers eligible for the Galactic Belt (Hechilles as well, but he currently holds the IP), thus there is only a top 9 instead of a top 10.
Inter-Planetary Champion: Hechilles #1: Caiman 34.15 #2: Cosmos 29.41 #3: Commander Sam 28.59 #4: Jammer 24.50 #5: Star Warrior 20.51
Jr Champion: Code Enforcer #1: Vice 30.25 #2: Commander Krakan 15.1 #3: Lord Nexus 11.45 #4: Wolf 10.39 #5: Marcel De Sade 9.80
GWF Tag Champions: GameMasters #1: Estorians 20.18 #2: Defiance 17.21 #3: Polarity 15.6 #4: Wind Riders 11.88 #5: Deadly Venom 6.68 (Hechilles/Caiman - they rarely team together, but they are almost surely a HOF team)

What is a Fin win?
Finisher maybe?
How many points of Morpheus and Omega are made up by the .01 currently?
Thanks
Graymar

Sounds pretty interesting... if you'd be willing ot post some win/loss records with it, I'd love to see how it works out.

Yes, a "Fin" is a victory by Finisher (or "add 1" move). I include the "add 1" moves to the finishers because they are still signature moves that really pack a whollup. If the match ends on one of those, the crowd is probably on their feat. (see Hogans Big Boot - not the Leg Drop, but still a signature move)
Here is a quick breakdown of the career highlites of my top 9 contenders for the Gal Belt...
#1: Morpheus 34.93 -- 118-81-1 career record; 943 pts -- 5 time Gal Champ (1st Champ ever, held the belt for 40 cards - 1 year is 30 cards), 2 time WOY, 1 time Tourney Champ
#2: Caiman 34.15 -- 64-38-1; 455 -- 2 time Tag Champ, 1 time IP Champ, 1 Time WOY, 1 Time Tourney Champ, 2 time TTOY, 3 time Tag Tourney Champ
#3: Mighty Grogan 29.93 -- 66-46-1; 533 -- ROY; 2 time Gal Champ, 1 time Tourney Champ
#4: Torin Caelum 29.68 -- 142-77-1; 1128 -- 9 time Gal Champ (Tied with Keller for most ever), 2 time WOY, 1 time Tourney Champ
#5: Cosmos 29.41 -- 77-80; 561 -- 3 time Tag Champ, 1 time IP Champ, ROY, 2 time TTOY
#6: Commander Sam 28.59 -- 89-120-1; 719 -- 3 time Gal Champ, 1 time IP Champ, 1 time Tag Tourney Champ (W/ Keller as "Workout")
#7: Jammer 24.50 -- 51-52; 430 -- 2 time Gal Champ, 1 time Tag Champ, ROY
#8: Omega 17.5 -- 133-105-2; 1110 -- 5 time Tourney Champ, 5 time Gal Champ, 1 time WOY

The early years were dominated by Caelum, Keller, Omega and Morpheus, with Mangus and Santon being the "best of the rest". Currently, Hechilles, Caiman, Grogan, Sam and to a lesser extent, Keller, Caelum, Morpheus and an up-and-coming Vice (I plan on having him stick around for a while. After his attack on Cosmos, he will be dis-owned by Polarity - even Sin - and Pleiades as a whole, and will stay in the GWF) rule the roost.
I will likely have my first HOF Induction somewhere around 2091 or so, and I am still trying to determine how exactly I will be doing it. The first class will either be just Omega and Morpheus, or all four of them (Morpheus, Omega, Caelum, Keller). After that, I am thinking of inducting maybe 4 wrestlers/teams every 5 years or so.
Keller was an UBER STUD before his downgrade. However, even since he is at worst an upper mid-carder. He still gets multiple title shots a year and even pulls in a belt on occasion (he is my current champ, ending Grogan's 20+ card reign)

I really like this system! I have a similar system, although mine is a little more basic and not so well thought out like yours! Very interesting. If I get more time, I might try this system out for my fed! Thanks for sharing it!
