In the match between Steamboat and Roberts, I heard a while back that Jake really knocked out Rick on Sat. Nights Main Event. Did he really?

that is the story, yes. As Jake tells it he warned Ricky that there was no way to protect him with the DDT on the floor, but Ricky insisted it would be fine and he could take it. Steamboat apparently had a giant knot on his head for a while afterwards according to Bruce Prichard's telling on the "Something To Wrestle" podcast.
