I recently got the COTG: Tournament of Champions Starter Set and the card that stood out the most to me was Hector the Holy Brown Bear.
He makes me think of Scare Bear from the Venture Bros tv series. I just wish he had a "knife power" like in the show.

Hector is absolutely one of my favorite characters in the game's history. Great visual and a character with a lot of story possibilities. Why does he do what he does? Because he's a secret Discordian saint and it's his mission to spread chaos (not canon, just obvious to me at least. You don't see it? Look closer. It's there....trust me).

I am definitely hopeful that Hector shows back up in the GWF. It just feels like there's still so much potential story to tell there.

I've had a theory that Hector is already back, in the form of Godsend. Hector's unmasked persona, The Main Event, looks a lot like Godsend and it's something I haven't been able to shake.

Hector was always the guy in my fed who was breaking the 4th wall in wrestling... much like CM Punk did telling the things that management didnt want you to know.

I really like Hector only problem is I really like the main event too so in my current timeline I think I'm gonna split them.

I never really had much fun with Hector - For some reason, that blasted bear outfit really stifled my creative flow... But, I've really enjoyed seeing some of the things other promoters have done with him - This being one of my favorite examples... Thought it was really cool that Hector blamed management for the failed gimmicks of his past and decided to get the last laugh by adopting the most outlandish image of them all... It was a nicely crafted story. |

I enjoyed Hector so much I ran the Leauge of Hectors for a while.
