I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and really look at this set after purchasing mine AT the T/T Hall of Fame Impact Wrestling show in Waterloo Iowa.. mark your calendars for 2022! (July 21-23rd)
Is this, besides the starter pack obviously, the greatest set of all time?

First of all, I strongly recommend the book Shooters by Thomas Snowden. It covers a number of technical wrestlers from all the way back to the turn of the century. And the very first wrestler mentioned is William Muldoon.
Since the book mentioned he had a Roman gladiator gimmick, I paired him in his first match against the Greek Hero Jim Londos. Pretty good back and forth action with Londos winning the first fall and Muldoon winning the second and third.
John Pesek meanwhile faced Dick Hutton. Now in Shooters, he is described as failing in his big push due to being boring both in and outside the ring. Apparently my dice agree because the match did nothing but boost hot dog sales. I find it funny that Pesek (who back in my B&B fed) won Match of the Year against Jim Duggan, but he couldn't get a good fight with Hutton. It's like Hutton just refused to hit a -3 move while no-selling all of Pesek's attacks. Finally, Pesek just dropped him into a wristlock until Mr. Personality tapped.
I teamed up Gorilla Monsoon with Butcher Vachon, but I'm stuck with a team name. For now, I'm going with The Monsters as a placeholder. Collins and Bop Roop formed the UA (UnderAppreciated and allies with Hutton) who defeated Thunder and Lightning (Patterson and Fenton) in their debut. Piper, Backlund, and Angle entered a battle royal with the rest of the Legacy division. Angle and Backlund got tossed out early while Piper made it to the end, losing to Kowalski.

Got mine today! They look awesome! Thanks to all involved. Top to bottom, this is Werner's best set imo. I agree, the artwork for this set is great. I really like the way they went with Thunderbolt Patterson using a full body shot and highlighting his ring entrance jacket. Bob Backlund, Kurt Angle and Gorilla Monsoon also really stand out to me but overall the art is killer.

Even though it's not available online (YET!), I absolutely love how Piper's new look has a rougher edge - not as clean cut as the B&W version... Plus, I thought it was really cool that he was given a different outfit for his Piper's Pit card... Stellar work indeed!

Just ran my latest PPV with the new wrestlers. John Pesek defeated Ox Baker in a cage. Kurt Angle pinned Killer Kowalski to win the Legacy Title. The Stranglers (Ed and Evan Lewis) beat The Monsters (Gorilla Monsoon and Butcher Vachon) to win the Tag Team Titles. William Muldoon pinned The Terrible Turk, ending Turkโs undefeated streak, to win the World Title.

Probably a dumb question, but is Backlundโs finisher an atomic drop or an atomic knee drop? Card and the booklet are different
