WRESTLING CHALLENGEGorilla: "Hot on the heels of the big confrontation between the Hulkster Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper, we have a a colossal edition of Wrestling Challenge coming up." Heenan: "That's right, because later on my man Ravishing Rick Rude is going to take Tony Atlas' arm and break it off in the arm wrestling match." Gorilla: Ravishing Rick is an arm wrestling champion in his own right, but I wouldn't sell short the power of Mr USA. We'll also be seeing the debut of Macho Man Randy Savage, the man Ted DiBiase says is going to be the cornerstone of his Million Dollar team. Right now, let's go to the ring."
Adrian Adonis made quick work of Rudy Diamond, nailing a standing dropkick and then going right to Goodnight Irene to put him to sleep.Gorilla: "Impressive showing by Adonis this week, and he's going to need to be on top of his game after the sneak attack he helped perpetrate on the champ. Adrian had better hope his allegiance with Roddy Piper and Ace Orton works both ways because he may need someone to watch HIS back if Hulkster and the Superfly have anything to say about it." Heenan: "Adonis hits so hard he may even be able to crack that coconut Snuka calls a skull, Monsoon." In the event center, Ken Resnick caught fans up on all the recent happenings in the WWF, then cut to pretaped comments by Magnificent Muraco. Muraco said he's ridden the biggest waves, relaxed on the greatest beaches, and dated the prettiest girls, but he's getting bored out there without a man big enough to step up and challenge him. The Magnificent One warned that idle hands are the devil's playground and he may just be ready to raise hell soon. Superfly Jimmy Snuka defeated Brooklyn Brawler via Superfly Splash.Heenan: "Does Snuka even know what state he's in? Or is everyplace the state of confusion for him?" Gorilla: "Will you stop? Jimmy picking up the big win in his return to action here in the WWF over the Brooklyn Brawler, who gave it everything he had but came up short. And now, as Bobby gets ready to head to the ring with Ravishing Rick, let's go to prerecorded comments from WWF tag team champions, The British Bulldogs." In recorded comments The British Bulldogs addressed Johnny V and The Dream Team. Dynamite said they attacked the Bulldogs a few weeks back and stole the belts, but that doesn't make them champions, it makes them cowards. Davey Boy said there's only one way to settle things and that's in the ring in a match for the titles and the belts at Wrestlemania. Gorilla: "Arm wrestling challenge time now, fans. The table is set up in the ring and the referee is trying to get both men face to face to go over instructions. Rude now trash talking Atlas and Tony shoves him! Rude is hot, but Bobby is whispering something in his ear to calm him down. Rude seems to like what he hears and throws his elbow down on the table smirking at Mr USA. The referee is getting ready to start, but Rude pulls his hand away. Come on, let's get this show on the road! Atlas is hot and I don't blame him." "Okay, now maybe the third time is the charm as they are locked up again. Here they go! Rude has him almost beat right out of the gate, but Atlas is muscling his way back up. They're in neutral position again and you can see the massive strain on behalf of both men. Atlas starting to gain a little...." "HEY! What's Heenan doing? He's reaching into his jacket pocket and he just got something out and sprayed it in the eyes of Tony Atlas! Atlas is writhing in pain. The referee is talking to Heenan, but Bobby just grabbed him by the head and tossed him out of the ring. Rude is really laying into Atlas now with stomps and forearm shots to the back of the head. Setting him up now...RUDE AWAKENING. What a sickening display as Rude gyrates over the fallen Atlas." (cut to commercial) Gorilla: "Fans, we're back and let's take another look at what just went down. I told security to keep Heenan out of the broadcast booth after this move, because frankly I don't want to see his face. But right now, let's get back to the ring for our feature bout." Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Iron Shiek with the flying spear.Gorilla: "Hacksaw and Sheik really involved in a barn burner here. It looked like neither man would get the upper hand for long, but Hacksaw pulled it out right when I thought they may go the distance. And now let's go to the match we've all been waiting for, the debut of the Macho Man Randy Savage." Macho Man Randy Savage defeated the Shadow via flying axehandle.Gorilla: "What a debut, and here comes Ted DiBiase and bodyguard Vrigil to bask in the glory with his new protege."
(DiBiase stepped into the ring, and Savage did not look happy. Ted kept making the universal sign for "money" and Virgil flashed a stack of cash. Savage slapped the money out of Virgil's hands, shoved DiBiase aside, and jumped over the ropes to leave the ring. DiBiase was irate, kicking the bottom rope and yelling something at Virgil."
Lord Alfred Hayes: "Promotional consideration paid for by the following."
Gorilla: "Well, things may not be as The Million Dollar Man made them appear, because it looks like the Macho Man has others ideas. We will definitely be following up on this situation next week. That, and a whole lot more. For the absent despicable Weasel, this is Gorilla Monsoon saying so long for this week."

Brutus Beefcake pinned Davey Boy Smith Brutus attacked before the bell, but Davey powered back. Brutus went on to hit the high knee smash and get the pin (with a hook of the tights for good measure).
King Kong Bundy got the win over George "The Animal" Steele George used his unorthodox tactics to throw Bundy off his game in the beginning, but once Bundy got going it was all downhill. King Kong used the Avalanche to secure the victory.

Mr Perfect used the Perfect Plex on Hacksaw Jim Duggan to defend the Intercontinental championship. Hacksaw tossed Perfect around the ring and the champ bounced like a pinball. Eventually Perfect got a chance to highlight his best stuff. Duggan made one more run at the title, but Perfect cut him off coming off the ropes and used the Perfect Plex for the victory.

Will Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper square off for the WWF championship at Wrestlemania?" Jesse Ventura: "You know what they say about being careful what you wish for. Hogan had better hope Tunney doesn't give him what he wants because if he does we'll have a new champion at Wrestlemania."
Tony Atlas defeated AJ Petruzi with a gorilla press and splashVentura: "Atlas with the impressive win, but we'll see how he looks after Rick Rude gets hold of him." McMahon: "Rude and Atlas are on a collision course set for Wrestlemania, Jesse." The Killer Bees defeated The Shadows when Brunzell pinned Shadow #1 after the dropkick.McMahon: "The Killer Bees picking up the win. Furthermore, to preserve the sanctity of the match and the title, outside interference WILL NOT be permitted. The Dream Team beat Jim Powers and Nacho Barrera when Brutus pinned Nacho.Ventura: "The real tag team champions are rolling towards Wrestlemania, where they'll prove once and for all that the Bulldogs are pretenders to the throne." McMahon: "I beg to differ." EVENT CENTER: Ken Resnick with an update on WRESTLEMANIA. The main event has been made and it will be Rowdy Roddy Piper challenging Hulk Hogan for the WWF title inside a steel cage. DiBiase: "Savage, how DARE you try to embarrass me last week on Wrestling Challenge. What you need to understand is that what I want I buy, and what I can't buy I will destroy. Everybody's got a price for the Million Dollar Man. That's why I'm challenging you to show up here next week and face my bodyguard Virgil, who will humble you and end your WWF career before it gets started."
McMahon: "Big words from the Million Dollar Man, but a big man to back them up in Virgil." Ventura: "Savage has made waves right from the start here in the WWF, but in doing so he's made a dangerous enemy. I'd hate to be in his position now." WRESTLING CHALLENGEGorilla: "Welcome once again to WWF Wrestling Challenge. Tonight we'll see the presumptive number one contender to Hulk Hogan's WWF title Rowdy Roddy Piper hosting Piper's Pit and then later in action, but first let's go to the ring for our big opening bout."
Mr. X pinned Leaping Lanny PoffoPoffo was firmly in control of what SHOULD have been a highlight of his talents, but he threw Mr X into the turnbuckles and made a mistimed charge. X lifted the boot and got the pin with his feet on the ropes for leverage. Heenan: "Poffo just got beat by a ham and egger! A nobody! Ha! He might as well pack it in." Gorilla: "You can't underestimate anybody here in the World Wrestling Federation and Lanny just learned that lesson the hard way. Will this be the start of big things for the masked man? Or did he just catch Poffo on an off night? We shall see, but right now let's go to Sean Mooney in the event center." Sean Mooney hyped Wrestlemania, then advertised the big events happening around the country on the road to the big event. Then we got pre-recorded comments from a new tag team in the WWF Hillbilly Jim and Hacksaw Duggan as they spoke about their upcoming matches around the country against The Bolsheviks. Up next Mooney threw it to Mr Perfect, who will be defending his Intercontinental championship against Koko B Ware. Back in the arena, it's Piper's Pit as Roddy made his presence known and trash talked Hogan before introducing his guest Adrian Adonis. Piper said Adrian is one of his best friends in the whole wide world and he's taken up the challenge of the "stupid island savage" Jimmy Snuka. Adonis said it will be his pleasure to take out Snuka before Wrestlemania so he won't be there to interfere in the match and help that cheater Hogan in the world title match. Then he said Piper, Orton, and himself would hit New York City and throw a party the likes of which the city has never seen. Piper ended by saying later tonight he'll be getting in the ring for a tuneup to show Hogan what's in store, then "the boys are hitting the town". Piper, Orton, and Adonis engaged in an obnoxious three way hug to end the segment. Magnificent Muraco defeated George Steele.Referee Joey Marella had his hands full in this match, as things spilled to the floor after a few minutes. Muraco established control and got the pin in the ring with the Hawaiian Hammer. Heenan: "Good riddance, you filthy animal. Hopefully Muraco just euthanized that mangy mutt." Gorilla: "Would you stop! Big debut coming up as we're about to take our first look at Luke and Butch, the Bushwhackers. And here they are!" Luke and Butch showed up in the broadcast booth, doing their signature "Bushwhacker Bounce" and eating sardines. Butch "accidentally" spilled sardine juice all over Bobby's jacket, sending Bobby running for cover. Gorilla shook hands with both men and then the team made their way to the ring. The Bushwhackers beat Johnny Rodz and Larry Sharpe
Nice easy showcase win for Luke and Butch. Rodz and Sharpe got some offense in, but Butch pinned Sharpe after the double gutbuster for the win. Heenan: "Disgusting. Those two had better watch themselves or I may put together a team to teach them a lesson." Gorilla: "Calm down, Brain. You and Mr Perfect had better focus on this next man because he's coming after that Intercontinental title. Here comes the Birdman Koko B Ware." Koko B Ware defeated Brooklyn Brawler.Very easy win for the Birdman, as he used the top rope dropkick to set up the "Ghostbuster" for the pin. Gorilla: "Koko making it look easy this week. Brain, you'd better hope he doesn't show up looking that good against your man Mr Perfect or there's going to be a new Intercontinental champion." Bobby: "Ha! Quit dreaming, Monsoon. Now it's time to look at the man who will shut Hogan's mouth and end his illegitimate reign as WWF champion, ROWDY RODDY PIPER." Rowdy Roddy Piper pinned Jim Powers.
Piper beat up Powers for a few minutes before Powers got a little offense. Piper quickly cut him off and used a back suplex for the win. Lord Alfred: "Promotional consideration paid for by the following."
Gorilla: "The challenger looking good. The Hulkster had better be ready, because as much as Piper runs his mouth he can back it up. That's all the action we have for you the week. Be sure to check up out next week for more exciting World Wrestling Federation action!"

I did NOT forget about this. It's just REALLY hard to book an ongoing roster with this much talent using 80s WWF style. But I had the build to Wrestlemania going, so here we go. welcome to.... WRESTLEMANIAYour hosts Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura open the show in bombastic fashion and then send it to the ring for the opening contest.
British Bulldogs beat the Dream Team to defend the tag team championship. The Dream Team had Dynamite in a bad way until he made the hot tag to Davey. Davey went to work on both men and finally had Brutus in a pinning predicament with the power slam when Johnny V got on the apron to distract. That allowed Greg to drop the hammer and take over on Davey. Finally Davey fought back and the Bulldogs used the TOWER OF LONDON as Captain Lou kept Johnny from interferring again. To the locker room, where Mean Gene was standing by with Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan. They cut the standard heel promo on Tony Atlas and Rick Rude made fun of Tony's skinny calves. Gene looked down at Rude's legs and Rude gave him the death stare. "S-sorry. It's an upper body business," quipped Gene as Rude and Bobby headed to the ring. Tony Atlas won by disqualification over Rick Rude. The opening minutes were all Atlas, as he tossed Rude all over the ring. Rude got his opening and poured on the offense, but Atlas kicked out after a piledriver. The bout went to the floor where Heenan distracted Atlas while Rude grabbed a chair. Rick brought the chair down across the back of Atlas, then hit him a few more times while he was down. Rude went back down the aisle delcaring himself the ultimate winner while Howard Finkel announced the results. Lord Alfred was in the locker room with challenger for the Intercontinental title, Koko B Ware. Koko said he'd be flying high tonight as the NEW Intercontinental champion. Alfred sent the broadcast over to the opposite locker room with Mean Gene and Mr Perfect. Perfect said the WWF is out to get him and favors Koko, making sure Rude's match went on before him so Bobby didn't have a chance to go over strategy with Perfect beforehand. But it doesn't matter because perfection shines through every time. Mr Perfect defeated Koko B Ware to defend the Intercontinental title.Koko wrestled a great match and had things going his way when he went to the top rope for a dropkick (deathjump). Perfect avoided and used the PERFECT PLEX for the win. Back to your hosts Vince and Jesse, as they bantered about what had happened so far and then Vince recapped the events leading up to the next match. Macho Man Randy Savage won by countout over Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase.Savage controlled the early bout, but DiBiase came back with a lariat out of the corner and applied the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM. Savage fought out of it and eventually made his comeback. He threw Ted out and went to the top rope for the flying axe handle to the floor. He tossed Ted back into the ring, but Ted rolled staight back out the other side. DiBiase signaled for Virgil and they took off down the aisle and to the locker room as the boos poured down from the crowd. Gene caught up to Ted and Virgil as they made their way back through the curtain. Gene asked what was the meaning of that cowardly move. Ted said Savage is everything he is advertised to be: a savage, a cheat, and madman. He said a man of his stature won't take the abuse, but he'll be back with and he's bringing just the right man to handle a Savage like Randy. He promised Savage will learn a lesson he won't soon forget. In the locker room with Alfred, Andre the Giant. Andre said Bundy thought he had injured Andre and put him out of wrestling for good, but he's not that easy to get rid of and now he's angry and out for revenge. Alfred warned that there are few things in life as frightening as an angry Giant and Bundy had better be ready. Andre The Giant defeated King Kong Bundy after the BIG SPLASH.Bundy wasted no time going after Andre, proving he would not be intimidated. He locked in a bear hug but Andre would not give up. Andre fought out of it and went on the offense, never looking back as he ended up scoring the pin with the splash. MEAN GENE STANDING BY WITH THE HULKSTER AND THE SUPERFLY. Gene talked about the treachery of Roddy Piper and his minions and Hulk took it from there. "WELL YOU KNOW MEAN GENE..." and you know the deal. Piper is going to be running from the ring with his skirt between his legs and all the rest because "WATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA AND THE SUPERFLY RUN WILD ON YOU?". The Bushwhackers defeated the Bolsheviks when Butch pinned Boris. The traditional cool down match before the main event. Good five minute tag team match, with both teams getting some offense before the four man brawl in the ring and the BATTERING RAM on Boris for the Luke and Butch win. Bloody lovely. Cut to Roddy Piper in a darkened locker room with Adonis at his side and Ace Orton holding the mic for him. Roddy was all business and said everyone thinks he's some kind of nut, but he's crazy like a fox, man. The epic, intense Roddy promo ensues with Roddy promising to "turn the world on it's head tonight, because JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU"VE GOT ALL THE ANSWERS, I CHANGE THE QUESTIONS MAN!" ROWDY RODDY PIPER defeated Hulk Hogan* in a steel cage to win the WWF world championship. Okay, yeah. This is why you can't book WWF style with the game where anything can happen. Huk dominated early, ran Roddy into the cage numerous times. Piper fought back and would not be pinned. As Roppy made a comeback Adonis tried to get in the cage through the door and got stopped by Snuka. As they fought on the floor, Cowboy Bob Orton climbed over the top of the cage and jumped off the top rope with a cast blow to the back of the head of the Hulkster as the referee was distracted with Jimmy and Adonis. Piper slapped on the sleeper hold for appearances and the garbage and boos rained down as Roddy grinned ear to ear and casually lef the cage through the door to be declared the winner. (the dice had this as a clean Roddy win with the SLEEPER, but you know I had to add the flavor to make it right)
* This was no fly by night Hogan bootleg either, it was "Big Superstar" from the GWFZ, as close to official as a bootleg card could be!

A new way to use all of those cards instead of "book an ongoing promotion."
Coliseum Video presents....The Best Of Tag Team Wrestling Volume 1With your host, Gorilla Monsoon.
The Killer Bees defeated Cowboy Bob Orton and Magnificent Muraco. Kicking things off with a barn burner. Things looked bleak for the Bees but Blair made the tag and Brunzell turned things around to pin Muraco with the KILLER DROPKICK.
Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko beat Jimmy and Johnny Valiant. Going a little farther back in the archives for this tag team title match between the Valiant brothers and Tony Garea with his young partner Larry Zbyszko. The Valiants roughed up Larry, with Jimmy busting him wide open with a steel chair shot on the floor as JOhnny distracted the ref and Garea. But in the end it was Tony with the Thesz Press on Johnny for the pin.
Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo beat Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Sheik and Volkoff got things started off with a bang, jumping the young all American boys at the bell. Windham and Rontundo hung in there and turned things around with Windham getting the pin after a BULLDOG in 12 minutes and 47 seconds.
The British Bulldogs defeated The Dream Team. Action personified from bell to bell as the managers Captain Lou Albano and Luscious Johnny watched from their respective corners. The end came after a DIVING HEAD BUTT from Dynamite on Bruti for the pin.
Andre The Giant and SD Jones beat Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy. Andre carried the load for his team, strategically tagging out to SD so Jones could deliver a flurry of offense and tag back out. Their strategy worked as Andre got the pin with the BIG SPLASH on Studd to send the crowd home happy.

THE BEST OF SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT volume 1
Nikolai Volkoff (w/his manager Slick) defeated Koko B Ware via pinfall. Koko used his speed advantage to keep Volkoff off balance for most of the match. In the end Volkoff caught him in the Russian Bear Hug to wear Koko down and then finished him off with a double thrust and pin.
Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase (w/Virgil) defeated The Rock Don Muraco. Muraco had DiBiase in trouble and went for the HAWAIIAN HAMMER when Virgil provided the crucial distraction. DiBiase took advantage and threw Muraco out of the ring. Ted used a suplex on the floor to soften him up and won with a power slam and pin in the middle of the ring.
Rowdy Roddy Piper won by disqualification over Adorable Adrian Adonis (w/Jimmy Hart). A quick start led to a wild match. Adrian bailed out of the ring to catch his breath, but Roddy gave chase. Jimmy jumped on Roddy's back to try to slow him down, but Piper dumped him on his butt and kept up the assault on Adrian. In the end Piper chased Adrian and Hart back up the aisle and to the dressing rooms.
Ravishing Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan) beat Brutus The Barber Beefcake. Beefcake held his own and actually slapped on the SLEEPER. Bobby Heenan had referee Dave Hebner distracted when ANDRE THE GIANT came out and hed butted Brutus from behind, knocking him out cold. Rude made the cover just as Hebner turned around and counted the pin.
Macho Man Randy Savage beat George The Animal Steele in a lumberjack match to defend the Intercontinental title. Lumberjacks included Ricky Steamboat, Hillbilly Jim, The Killer Bees, Cpl Kirchner, JYD, Hart Foundation, Adrian Adonis, Natural Butch Reed, Sheik and Volkoff. The end came when Randy got into a fight with Steamboat at ringside and the referee came out to break it up as the other lumberjacks brawled. Adrian Adonis entered the ring with a chair and whacked Steele over the head with it to set up Randy to come back in and get the pin.

Prime Time WrestlingGorilla welcomes you to the show and gives a brief rundown of events, including the big main event featuring the British Bulldog versus The Berzerker. Bobby has a few quips about the Bulldog and Gorilla introduces the opening match.
SD Jones defeated Curt Hennig.Mr Not So Perfect here. SD was in control at about the five minute mark when Curt came back with a slap to the face. SD fired up and hit him with a Philly Shuffle and big punches for the surprise pin. In the studio Heenan was livid. SD used closed fists, the ref counted fast, and all that. Gorilla was bemused as he cut to a pre-taped interview with Berzerker and his manager the stooge. Berzerker decalred his intentions to become the next WWF champion and said the Bulldog was just a stepping stone as the manager grinned and nodded like an idiot. Berzerker declared that he'd do whatever it takes to win, including sticking his sword....cut to commercial. Greg The Hammer Valentine defeated Koko B Ware.Koko could not mount much offense here as Valentine picked him apart and got the win via FIGURE FOUR in about three minutes. Gorilla throws it to the ring announcer for the next big event. Jumpin Jim Brunzell pinned Bad News Brown. The upsets continue. Brown attacked as the announcer was giving introductions, but Brunzell fired back at him. In the end Brunzell hit a flying knee smash for the pin after about eight minutes. Referee Joey Marella is going to have his hands full in this match as The Bolsheviks take on Hawk and Animal, the Legion Of Doom. The Legion Of Doom defeated the Bolsheviks when Animal pinned Nikolai. Nikolai started strong against Hawk, but the outcome was never really in doubt here. Animal got the pin with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE in roughly four minutes.
British Bulldog pinned The Berzerker. Great back and forth action in our main event. Bulldog fought back from a beating and hit a piledriver for the pin.
