Caesaro never really got over as a singles guy in main roster WWE, but was a fantastic tag wrestler over the years be it with Tyson Kidd, Jack Swagger, Nakamura or Sheamus. It could be argued his best periods on the indies were also part of tag teams, be it the BDK, King of Wrestling and maybe some others I am forgetting. Sometimes someone just works best as part of a team and while I love Claudio in any form, I would be happy seeing him be part of a kick ass team taking over the indies.

Loved him in the BDK the most. He’s best as a tag team/faction guy. Having Aries and Jakob talking for BDK while Claudio just stood there looking bad ass (and way bigger than everybody else) just worked so well. He wasn’t bad on the mic - amazing wrestler though. Has a big time face move-set, but has a classic villain look. I always wondered if that hurt him.

He may be better off reuniting with Chris hero and barnstorming all the indies.[/quote] Hero’s last match on Cagematch was in 2020 for the E. He has a shoot series with Highspots interviewing some other ex-WWE folk like Jonah Rock and Fandango/Johnny Kurtis but he was looking alot heavier in them. Best of luck to Claudio, hope he is able to find the success he is looking for. I’m sure Gulak will miss him at WrestleFactory 2.0

Just seen that. Can't really blame him for not resigning. Have to think he will be picked up by AEW I dont know. i think the scene there is quite crowded. He may be better off reuniting with Chris hero and barnstorming all the indies. Oh no doubt it is crowded there. What I don't get, they use dark and dark elevation for enhancement matches to pad the records but they have enough talent under contract to easily turn Dark into a legit show like rampage and keep elevation as their enhancement show

Elevation is kind of the midcard vs lower midcard show. Nearly every match was someone or some team that occasionally appears on Dynamite vs. someone who only wins on Dark tapings in Orlando. I do appreciate that they have those showcase matches and have legitimate records, but really dont have much interest in ever watching the shows sans some specific match that gets buzz somehow. If Claudio went to AEW I see him joining Jay Lethal as a Dark Elevation guy fairly quickly.

One thing about AEW is that I don't really know how legitimate the Cesaro-Kingston beef is or still is. Kingston's already talking smack but that very well could be working, but at one time the two legitimately disliked each other going back to their Chikara days. My understanding is that Claudio thought Kingston was sloppy and unsafe, and Kingston was bitter because Claudio supposedly promised to put him over on his way out of Chikara and then didn't.
Of course, Punk and Cabana are operating under the same banner now, and their beef is miles ahead of whatever still exists between Kingston and Claudio. But it may be something to keep an eye on.
Oh, and I want to see Claudio in the G-1.

I could see Cesaro hitting the NWA for a spell! Lots of possibilities for him!

I agree my favorite tag-team with Claudio is the King's of Wrestling with Hero doing most of the promo work and Claudio doing those non-verbal expressions or holding his coffee.I would like to actually see him go to New Japan and be in the G1 where with his style he would do well.
