1. Baron Von Raschke beat Nacho Barrera at 3:29 after a back breaker drop on the knee!
- Von Raschke was nearly pinned when Barrera countered his cross body block.
- Von Raschke had him pinned but Nacho Barrera was able to kick out to the delight of the fans.
- After the match Von Rashke put on the Brain Claw. It took several officials to get Baron to break the hold.
- It took several minutes to help Nacho from the ringside area. He challenged Baron to a rematch next week.

2. Ivan Koloff beat Bruiser Brody at 3:04 with a Russian Back Breaker.
- The two went to the floor a few times during the bout.
- Ivan Koloff nearly put Bruiser Brody away a couple of times.
- Ivan Koloff now advances to the Semi Finals of the HVT. Championship Tournament.

3. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka defeated King Kong Bundy at 11:19 with a Superfly Leap.
- King Kong Bundy wore down Snuka with a bear hug early on.
- Both wrestlers hit some big moves on each other.
- It took Snuka three Superfly Leaps to put away King Kong Bundy.
- Jimmy Snuka will now face Ivan Koloff in the Semi Final Round.

4. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine beat Butcher Vachon at 1:28.
- It was a short match that ended when Greg Valentine hit a small package.
- After the bell sounded, Butcher Vachon grabbed a chain from under the ring and punched Valentine in the forehead - bloodying him.
- Greg Valentine now moves on to the Semi Finals of the tournament.

5. Mad Dog Vachon beat George “The Animal” Steele at 2:17 with a Piledriver.
- It was a decent back and forth match that saw some good action.
- George Steele nearly put away Mad Dog with a Flying Hammerlock.
- Mad Dog will now face Greg Valentine in the Semi Finals.

6. The Killer Bees beat The Valiant Brothers when Jimmy Valiant was counted out of the ring at 2:05.
- The two teams brawled to the backstage area.
- The ring announcer announced that there would be a rematch next week here at the Gardens!
- The show then went to intermission.

7. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka beat Ivan Koloff at 2:58 with a Superfly Leap!
- It was a pretty exciting match that saw plenty of action.
- Jimmy Snuka now moves on to the finals to compete for the MLW Heavyweight championship!

8. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine beat Mad Dog Vachon at 2:45 with a Figure Four Leg lock.
- Greg Valentine came out with a bandage on his forehead from the beating he got from Butcher Vachon.
- Greg Valentine put Mad Dog Vachon in a figure four leg lock for the submission win.
- After the bout Mad Dog and Butcher beat down Greg Valentine until it was broken up by officials.
- Mad Dog says find yourself a partner and next week we will have ourselves a Tag Team Grudge Match!

9. Sherri Martel beat Judy Martin at 3:42 with a Scoop Slam in a Special Ladies Attraction Match.
- Sherri Martel hit a couple of Top Rope Splashes.
- Sherri Martel looked good in her victory.

10. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka beat Greg “The Hammer” Valentine at 8:51 with a Superfly Leap!
- It was a wild match where both wrestlers nearly put the other away.
- Jimmy Snuka is now the first Maple Leaf Wrestling Heavyweight champion.
- After the match, Greg Valentine grabbed the microphone and said he needs a partner for next week against The Vachons. He asks Snuka to be his tag team partner and Snuka says yes!
- The two wrestlers shake hands and then head backstage to end the show.

1. Baron Von Raschke beat Nacho Barrera at 2:09 with a back breaker drop on knee!
- Nacho started on offense early on but Baron came back and gave him a beating.
- Baron got on the microphone and issued an open challenge next week.

2. Red Bastien beat Sam Houston at 6:58 with an Atomic Drop.
- It was a very competitive match that saw a lot of action between both men.
- Red Bastien now moves to the finals of the MLW Junior Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

3. Jerry Brisco beat Brad Armstrong at 1:11 with a Figure Four Leg Lock.
- It was a pretty short match that saw Jerry Brisco mostly on offense.
- Jerry Brisco almost made Brad Armstrong submit to the boston crab.
- Jerry Brisco now goes on to face Red Bastien for the MLW Junior Heavyweight Championship.

4. Manny Fernandez beat Koko B. Ware at 8:24 with a gut wrench suplex.
- This was a really good bout that could have went either way.
- Manny Fernandez looked good in this bout.
- After the match Manny Fernandez grabbed the microphone and said he accepts Baron Von Raschke’s open challenge.

5. The Killer Bees beat The Valiant Brothers at 7:48 when B. Brian Blair pinned Johnny Valiant after a Second Rope Clothesline.
- Really entertaining back and forth match between these two teams.
- The Killer Bees nearly put away Johnny Valiant at one point but Valiant managed to kick out.
- The Killer Bees have climbed the tag team ranks and will be looking for a new challenge next week!

6. Red Bastien beat Jerry Brisco at 2:14 to become MLW Junior Heavyweight champion!
- Red Bastien won with an Atomic Drop.
- It was a good but short match between the two.
- Out of respect after the match Jerry Brisco helped Red Bastien put on the belt around his waist.

7. Jimmy Snuka and Greg Valentine beat The Vachons at 5:30 when Greg Valentine put Butcher Vachon in a Figure Four Leg Lock.
- It was a pretty good match between both teams.
- Jimmy Snuka nearly won that match after a Superfly Leap.
- The result of this bout sent the crowd home happy.
- It was announced that the full card for next week will appear in the local newspaper.

Yes, who knows what is going to happen between Valentine and Snuka. I am sure they will meet again at some point.

1. Koko B. Ware beat Nacho Barrera at 2:15 with a Brainbuster.
- Nacho Barrera spent a little bit of time on offense but Ware quickly took over.
- After the match - Koko B. Ware invited ringside fans come in and do the bird with him and Frankie.
- Nacho Barrera needed to be helped to the backstage area after the match.

2. The Brisco Brothers beat The Vachons at 1:48 when Jerry Brisco hit an Oklahoma Side Roll for the win!
- Jerry Brisco hit the Oklahoma Side Roll on Mad Dog Vachon.
- Butcher Vachon was a little heated after the match because he didn’t even get a chance to tag in.
- The Brisco Brothers now move onto the finals to battle for the MLW Tag Team championship belts!

3. The British Bulldogs beat The Killer Bees at 2:26 to advance to the finals!
- Davey Boy Smith hit a pile driver on B. Brian Blair for the win.
- The British Bulldogs will face The Brisco Brothers later on to determine the tag team champions!

4. Baron Von Raschke beat Manny Fernandez at 2:54 with a Brain Claw.
- Manny Fernandez hit two Flying Burritos on Baron but could not put him away.
- This match saw some great action and the fans seemed to love the bout.
- Baron put on the Brain Claw for the win!

5. The Brisco Brothers beat The British Bulldogs at 2:44 to become MLW Tag Team Champions!
- Jack Brisco nearly put Davey Boy Smith away twice but he wasn’t able to get the job done.
- Jack Brisco hit a gut wrench back breaker on Davey Boy Smith for the win.
- The Briscos celebrated their victory in the crowd with their newly won tag team straps.

6. Danny Hodge defeated Jim Londos at 2:34 with an Oklahoma Side Roll.
- After the match Jim Londos extended his hand for Hodge to shake. Hodge slapped him across the face.
- The fans started to boo Danny Hodge as he left the ringside area.
- Danny Hodge then grabbed the microphone and challenged Red Bastien to a Jr. Heavyweight championship bout.
- Red Bastien came out and said he’d defend the championship next week against him.

7. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine beat Bruiser Brody at 4:52 by disqualification.
- Bruiser Brody spent most of the match on offense.
- Bruiser Brody got disqualified when he smashed Valentine’s head with the ring bell.
- Bruiser Brody went ballistic when he found out he had been disqualified.
- Greg Valentine ran to the backstage area to safer ground.
