Surprised the Briscos were able to make such short work of the Bulldogs... Should be interesting to see how long they can hold onto the straps.

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 04
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
January 27th, 1970
1. Baron Von Raschke beat Koko B. Ware at 1:44 with an elbow drop.
- Baron put on two Brain Claws but Ware was able to escape both.
- Koko B. Ware didn’t stand much of a chance here as he was on defense most of the bout.
- Baron Von Raschke said that he was the best wrestler in the whole federation and demanded some real competition.
2. Fabulous Moolah beat Judy Martin at 0:44 with a Boston Crab.
- Fabulous Moolah meant all business coming into this bout.
- Fabulous Moolah hit two Body Presses for near falls in this short match.
- Moolah now moves onto the finals to crown the first MLW Ladies champion!
3. Sherri Martel beat Mildred Burke at 4:51 with a Top Rope Splash.
- It was a good bout that saw plenty of action and had the fans into it the whole time.
- Sherri Martel put away Burke with a Top Rope Splash.
- Sherri Martel will now face Fabulous Moolah later on for the Ladies championship!
4. The British Bulldogs beat The Powers of Pain at 2:32.
- It was all British Bulldogs in this match. Both members hit their respective finishers on Warlord.
- The Bulldogs hit the Tower of London on Warlord for the win.
- This big win will send The British Bulldogs up the tag ranks!
5. Sherri Martel beat Fabulous Moolah at 6:54 to win the MLW Ladies Championship!
- Fabulous Moolah was hard to put away after kicking out of several top rope splashes.
- Sherri Martel celebrated her championship win as Fabulous Moolah was helped to the backstage area.
6. Red Bastien beat Danny Hodge at 2:06 with an Atomic Drop.
- It took three Atomic Drops from Red Bastien to put away Danny Hodge.
- This is Red Bastien’s first MLW Junior Heavyweight championship defense.
- Red Bastien celebrated his defense with the ringside fans.
7. Bruiser Brody defeated Greg “The Hammer” Valentine at 4:36 with a one handed body slam.
- It was a very fast paced competitive contest.
- Bruiser Brody is now one of the top contenders to the Maple Leaf Wrestling Heavyweight championship.
- The ring announcer announced that next week Bruiser Brody will face Jimmy Snuka for the strap!

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 05
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
February 3rd, 1970
1. Adrian Adonis beat Nacho Barrera at 1:34 with a Cross Body Block from the top rope.
- This match was a complete one sided squash.
- After the match Adrian Adonis gave Barrera a jumping knee to the face and then tossed him from the ring.
- The fans didn’t take too kindly to Adonis.
2. Ida Mae Martinez beat Joyce Grable at 4:55 with a Dropkick.
- This was a really good back and forth bout.
- After the bout Joyce Grable got up and tossed Martinez to the floor.
- She then whipped her into the steel guard rail and waffled her with the ring bell.
- Martinez had to be helped to the backstage area.
3. Iron Sheik beat The Destroyer at 5:15 with a Camel Clutch.
- A very entertaining match that saw plenty of action.
- The Destroyer almost put Sheik away.
- Sheik put the Camel Clutch on in the middle of the ring and Destroyer had no choice but to submit.
4. Pampero Firpo beat Ivan Koloff at 2:44 with a running body slam.
- Pampero was on offense for a lot of the match.
- When the bell sounded, Ivan Koloff recovered. He grabbed a chair from the outside and waffled Firpo with it.
5. Baron Von Raschke beat George “The Animal” Steele at 1:54 by disqualification.
- Steele tossed him to the outside of the ring and hot shotted Baron on the guard rail.
- He then gave him a piledriver on the concrete floor.
- Baron needed to be helped to backstage.
6. The Brisco Brothers beat The British Bulldogs at 3:50 when Jack hit a Rolling Reverse Cradle on Dynamite.
- The Briscos stunned the challengers with a flash pin out of nowhere.
- This marks the first defense of the tag team champions!
7. Bruiser Brody beat Jimmy Snuka at 1:19 to capture the heavyweight championship after a Jumping Knee Drop!
- Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka brawled to the backstage area after the match.
- Fans were pelting garbage at the ring after their hero lost the strap.
- The ring announcer told the fans that next week there will be a non title rematch between the two!
