You're welcome...on_the_edge came up with that during my Albano/Thesz feud where Albano pulled off a very improbable upset even bigger than the Lewis one. I decided to book that match on the next card ha! Let's see if Albano can take out Thesz!

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 27
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
June 30th, 1970
1. Jim Londos pinned George Tragos at 7:12.
- Great back and forth match to kick off the show.
- Jim Londos picks up a big win with his debut here in Maple Leaf Wrestling.
2. Bruiser Brody beat Baron Von Raschke at 7:12 with a one hand body slam.
- Bruiser Brody nearly put away Baron but Baron kicked out of two Jumping Knee Drops.
- Bruiser Brody looked really strong with this win over Baron.
3. Lou Thesz beat Lou Albano with a Greco-Roman Backdrop at 5:32.
- Lou Albano put in a good showing but couldn’t put Lou Thesz away.
- Lou Thesz is now a top contender for the MLW Heavyweight championship.
4. Tiger Conway Sr beat Bull Curry at 2:57 with a Moonsault.
- This was a wild match that saw a lot of the action on the arena floor.
- Tiger Conway Sr hit a perfect moonsault on Curry to pick up the win.
5. The Killer Bees beat The Vachons by disqualification when The Vachons hit Jim Brunzell with a steel chair.
- It took many officials and security to pull The Vachons off of The Killer Bees.
- A rematch has been scheduled on the next show in a No Holds Barred Grudge Match.
6. Mildred Burke beat Fabulous Moolah at 1:49 to retain the MLW Ladies championship with an Alligator Clutch.
- Burke made short work of Moolah.
- This marks Burke’s second title defense.
7. Danny Hodge beat Jerry Brisco at 2:45 with a cross body block and pin to retain the MLW Jr. Heavyweight championship.
- Great match to send the fans home happy.
- This is Danny Hodge’s fifth defense of the MLW Junior Heavyweight championship!

Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
July 7th, 1970
1. Killer Kowalski beat Koko B. Ware at 1:03 with a cross body block and cover.
- Killer Kowalski completely destroyed Ware in this match.
- The fans were pelting garbage at Killer Kowalski as he was celebrating his win.
2. Tiger Conway Sr beat George “The Animal” Steele at 1:25 with a sleeper.
- Tiger put Steele away rather quickly.
- After the match - the ring announcer got on the microphone and announced that next week we will see Tiger taking on Kowalski and tickets go on sale at intermission.
3. Red Bastien beat Dynamite Kid with an Atomic Drop at 6:00.
- Great match between these two Junior Heavyweights!
- Red Bastien will now go on to face ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street where the winner will face Danny Hodge for the MLW Junior Heavyweight championship!
4. Barbarian beat Davey Boy Smith at 2:11 with a shoulder breaker.
- Barbarian dominated Smith in this match.
- This brought the show to an intermission. It was announced that next week we would see Abdullah the Butcher taking on Bruiser Brody next week in the main event.
5. Lou Thesz beat Nick Bockwinkel at 0:59 with a Greco-Roman Backdrop.
- Lou Thesz completely destroyed Nick Bockwinkel.
- Lou Thesz will now face “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka for the MLW Heavyweight championship next week.
6. Jim Londos beat Bruiser Brody at 13:28 with an Airplane Spin.
- In what was the match of the night, both men left the match a bloody mess.
- Both wrestlers looked incredible in this match and will have a return bout down the line.
7. The Vachons beat The Killer Bees at 6:42 when Butcher hit a Hangman on B. Brian Blair.
- Good back and forth action between both teams.
- The fans were happy to see The Vachons get a win here.

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 29
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
July 14th, 1970
1. Iron Mike Dibiase beat Ted Dibiase in 3:28 with a roll up.
- After the match the two hugged and Ted Dibiase raised his father’s hand in victory.
- Gordon Solie interviewed the two and they said they are going to form a tag team and go after the titles.
2. Nick Bockwinkel beat Jim Londos at 2:03 with a Figure Four Leg Lock.
- Nick Bockwinkel dominated this bout and mopped the floor with Jim Londos.
- Bockwinkel grabbed the microphone and said that he wants a championship match next week!
3. Red Bastien beat ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street at 2:56 with an Atomic Drop.
- Red Bastien and Street put on a fun match.
- Red Bastien has now earned a shot at the MLW Junior Heavyweight championship.
4. Killer Kowalski beat Tiger Conway Sr at 2:30 with a Bombs Away.
- Good match where Killer Kowalski looked good.
- Gordon Solie announced that it will be Kowalski against Bockwinkel next week where the winner faces the Heavyweight champion the week after.
5. The Fantastics beat The Vachons at 5:49 with a Fantastic Flip to retain the MLW Tag Team championship.
- Good match between these two teams.
- The Fantastics make their fourth tag team title defense here.
6. Lou Thesz defeated “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka at 4:20 to become MLW Heavyweight champion with a Greco Roman Backdrop.
- Lou Thesz is now the third man to hold the MLW Heavyweight championship.
- He will be facing the winner of the Kowalski/Bockwinkel match that takes place next week!
7. Bruiser Brody beat Abdullah the Butcher at 3:29 when Brody hit a Jumping Knee Drop.
- After the match Abdullah the Butcher threw a fireball in Brody’s face.
- The fans pelted the ring with garbage as their hero laid on the mat face down in pain.
