August 22nd, 1970
1. The Destroyer beat Scott Casey at 1:05 with a Bow and Arrow.
- The Destroyer dominated the whole match.
- The Destroyer grabbed the microphone after the bout and insulted the crowd.
2. The British Bulldogs beat The Dream Team at 4:23 when Davey Boy Smith hit a flying elbow drop on Valentine.
- Good match between these two great teams.
- The British Bulldogs are now top contenders for the MLW Tag Team championship.
3. Barry Windham beat Ivan Koloff at 1:39 with a Lariat.
- Barry Windham made short work of Ivan Koloff.
- After the bout Ivan Koloff was irate and attacked Barry Windham with a chain - causing his to bleed!
4. Virgil beat Koko B. Ware by count out at 4:27!
- This was a very competitive match.
- A No Disqualification and No Count Out Rematch has been scheduled for MLW Super Card # 41
5. Magnum T.A. beat Baron Von Raschke at 3:26 with a Belly to Belly Suplex.
- Excellent match between these two.
- Magnum T.A. picks up a big win here over Baron Von Raschke!
6. Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff defeated Tiger Conway Sr and Tiger Conway Jr at 1:36!
- Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff will now go on to face The British Bulldogs on the next card.
- Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff looked great here.
7. Lou Thesz beat Nick Bockwinkel at 0:50 to retain the MLW Heavyweight championship!
- Lou Thesz was too much for Bockwinkel in this match.
- Lou Thesz makes his third defense of the MLW Heavyweight championship!

1. J.J. Dillon beat Virgil at 2:27 when J.J. Dillon hit an Elbow Drop!mov
- J.J. Dillon looked good coming out of this match.
- Virgil argued with the referee after the match.
2. Bob Armstrong beat Koko B. Ware at 7:21 with a Sleeper.
- Great match with these two.
- Bob Armstrong moves up the ranks in Maple Leaf Wrestling!
3. George “The Animal” Steele beat “Exotic” Adrian Street at 4:11 when Steele hit a Flying Hammerlock.
- Excellent match between these two.
- George Steele will now face Bob Armstrong on the next card.
4. Baron Von Raschke beat Bill Dundee at 1:57 with a back suplex.
- Baron looked really strong in this match.
- Baron will face David Taylor on the next card.
5. The Bushwhackers beat The Vachons at 4:30 when Luke Williams pinned Butcher Vachon.
- Good tag team bout between these teams.
- The Bushwhackers have climbed the ranks after this big win.
6. The British Bulldogs beat Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff at 5:09!
- The British Bulldogs hit a Tower of London on Iron Sheik.
- The Bulldogs will face The Fantastics on the next card for the MLW Tag Team championship.
7. Bruiser Brody defeated King Kong Bundy at 2:35 with a Jumping Knee Drop.
- Decent main event match that saw some great action.
- Bruiser Brody is now in line for a MLW Heavyweight championship bout.

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 41
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
August 29th, 1970
Before the first match it was announced that Jackie Fargo and Brutus Beefcake were unable to make it to the show.
1. Koko B. Ware beat Virgil with a Brain buster at 1:42. * 1/2
- These two men went right after each other at the opening bell.
- Koko B. Ware was able to hit a Brain buster for the pin and the win.
- Decent match to kick off the show!
2. Danny Hodge pinned Gorgeous George at 5:15. ***
- Great match between these two greats.
- Hodge had a real tough time putting Gorgeous George away.
3. Susan Green pinned Joyce Grable at 8:17. ***
- Fans loved this match from the opening bell.
- Both women nearly put the other one away many times but could not get the job done.
- Finish saw Susan Green whipping Grable chest first into the turnbuckle and Green following it up with a neck breaker!
4. Baron Von Raschke beat David Taylor with a Brain Claw at 2:21. ** 1/2
- Good match with a lot of great wrestling.
- David Taylor nearly put Baron away but Baron came back and put on the Brain Claw for the victory.
- The fans were not happy with David Taylor’s actions and let him know by pelting the ring with garbage.
- This match brought the show into an intermission.
5. Bob Armstrong beat George “The Animal” Steele with a Georgia Jaw Jacker at 1:10. *
- Short match that saw a wild brawl on the outside the ring.
- Bob Armstrong put away Steele with a Georgia Jaw Jacker.
- The fans loved George Steele and cheered for him as he made his way to the backstage area.
6. Barry Windham defeated Ivan Koloff by disqualification at 2:15. **
- Good match that had some action on the outside of the ring.
- On the floor, Koloff got carried away and pushed down the referee. He was immediately disqualified.
- Ivan Koloff has been fined five thousand dollars for his actions!
- The two will meet on the next card in a rematch.
7. The British Bulldogs beat The Fantastics at 1:13 by disqualification.
- This match was over before it even started.
- Even though the Bulldogs won by disqualification, they did not win the straps.
- The two teams will meet next week in a No Holds Barred match for the tag team belts!

Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
1. The Quebecers beat Danny Doring and Roadkill at 2:51. ** 1/2
-Good match with The Quebecers mostly on offense.
- Took many big moves to put Roadkill away.
- The Quebecers got a bit closer to getting a shot at the tag team straps with this win.
2. One Man Gang defeated Matt Bourne with a 747 Splash at 1:51 **
- Good match between the returning One Man Gang and the debuting Matt Bourne.
- Fans booed One Man Gang and chanted “Fat Pig” at him that got him riled up.
- One Man Gang is climbing the rankings and could be in line for a championship bout!
3. Baron Von Raschke beat Louie Spicolli with a Brain Claw at 3:10. ***
- Great match with Baron getting most of the offense.
- The fans were cheering for Spicolli and were throwing trash at Baron.
- After the bell Baron Von Raschke held on to the Brain Claw hold.
- Federation officials came down and after some time he finally released the hold.
- Louie Spicolli needed to carried out on a stretcher!
4. Chyna pinned Luna Vachon at 6:02 *** 1/2
- In incredible match Chyna got a big win over Luna Vachon.
- Fans were really behind Luna Vachon and were upset when she lost.
- Chyna is now in line for a Ladies championship match!
5. King Kong Bundy pinned Sgt. Slaughter after a splash in the corner at 8:14. ****
- Excellent match. Both men hit a lot of offensive moves.
- Bundy nearly put Sgt. Slaughter away with an Atlantic City Avalanche.
- King Kong Bundy will now square off against Lou Thesz for the federation championship on the next card.
6. Ivan Koloff defeated Barry Windham with a Bear Hug at 1:00. DUD
- This match was over before it really started.
- Ivan Koloff looked great in this match, getting all the offense.
- Ivan Koloff is climbing the rankings here in Maple Leaf Wrestling!
7. Danny Hodge defeated Gorgeous George at 1:52 with an Oklahoma Side Roll!
- Danny Hodge is now Maple Leaf Wrestling Provincial champion.
- Good match between these two great wrestlers.
- The fans were really happy to see Danny Hodge as new champion.
8. The Fabulous Ones beat The British Bulldogs when Steve Keirn hit a Fabulous Forearm on Davey Boy Smith at 5:23 to retain the Maple Leaf Wrestling Tag Team championship! **
- Federation official came down and announced that the tag team championship is vacant as The Fabulous Ones were defending a set of belts that were not official. The Fabulous Ones and The Fantastics will square off next card for the straps!
