Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 12
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
March 24th, 1970
1. “Exotic” Adrian Street beat Bob Armstrong at 4:43 with a Crucifix.
- Street had a tough time putting Bob Armstrong away.
- Adrian Street looked great in his debut in Maple Leaf Wrestling.
- Adrian Street has moved up the ranks and is getting close to getting a title shot.
2. Fabulous Moolah beat Mildred Burke at 3:14 with a Jackknife Cradle.
- Fabulous Moolah brought it to Mildred Burke.
- Fabulous Moolah is now one of the top contenders to the MLW Ladies championship.
3. Johnny Saint beat Joe Blanchard at 6:31 when Johnny Saint hit a cutblock and folding press.
- Another great match on the show.
- It was a great back and forth technical match.
- The fans went crazy when Johnny Saint got the win.
4. Jackie Fargo beat Nick Bockwinkel at 3:39 with an Atomic Drop.
- The referee wasn’t too competent during this match as Fargo used a foreign object several times.
- Jackie Fargo looked good coming out of this match up.
- Nick Bockwinkel was bleed heavily after this bout.
5. Jim Londos beat Billy Red Lyons at 4:09 with an Airplane Spin.
- Jim Londos looked impressive out there against Lyons.
- Jim Londos is on his way for a shot at the MLW Junior Heavyweight championship.
- Billy Red Lyons got a round of applause as he exited the ring and headed backstage.
6. The Fantastics beat The Bolsheviks at 11:35 when Tommy Rogers put Zhukov in a Sleeper.
- Great tag team action in this one.
- Both teams looked great in this one.
- The Fantastics are now in line for a MLW Tag Team championship chance!
7. Adrian Adonis beat Iron Sheik at 3:23 with a DDT!
- Adrian Adonis and Iron Sheik put on a hell of a bout.
- Adrian left the ringside with his hands in the air as the fans cheered for him.
- The ring announcer announced that they will be back next week with a MLW Heavyweight championship bout when “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka takes on Adrian Adonis!

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 13
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
March 31st, 1970
1. Tiger Conway Jr beat Alexis Smirnoff at 3:57 with a Flying Head Butt.
- Good opener to start off the show.
- The fans were really behind Tiger Conway Jr.
- Alexis Smirnoff was booed as he made his way back to the backstage area.
2. Tommy Gilbert beat Rock Riddle at 2:35 with a Running Knee Lift.
- Tommy Gilbert looked great out there.
- The crowd popped huge when he came back and got the win.
- Tommy Gilbert could be in line for a MLW Junior Heavyweight championship match.
3. Johnny Saint beat “Exotic” Adrian Street at 2:20 with a Three in One.
- Good competitive bout where it could have gone either way.
- After Johnny Saint went backstage, Street chased the referee to the backstage area.
4. Bobo Brazil beat Tiger Conway Sr at 3:57 with a Coco Butt.
- Tiger Conway hit two moonsaults during the bout that made the fans go crazy.
- Bobo Brazil hit a couple of Coco Butts to knock out Tiger Conway Sr.
5. Sherri Martel beat Fabulous Moolah by disqualification to retain the MLW Ladies championship at 6:06.
- They fought on the floor for some of the match.
- Fabulous Moolah was disqualified when she gave Martel a hot shot on the guard rail.
6. The Fantastics beat The Vachons at 2:15 to capture the MLW Tag Team championships.
- The Vachons got some near falls on Tommy Rogers.
- The Vachons were quite upset that they lost the gold that they threw chairs and tables around at ringside.
7. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka beat Adrian Adonis with a Superfly Leap at 4:31 to retain the MLW Heavyweight championship.
- Adrian Adonis hit a “Goodnight Irene” early on in the bout.
- The crowd went crazy when he hit his Superfly Leap!
- It was announced that next week’s card would be headlined by Abdullah the Butcher against Bobo Brazil!

Pleased that Sensational Sherri held onto the women's belt... Moolah is really tough and will probably claim that title at some point.

Maple Leaf Wrestling Super Card # 14
Maple Leaf Gardens - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
April 1st, 1970
1. The Spoiler beat Rip McCord at 4:35 with a Bionic Claw (+2)
- It was a decent opener to kick off the Super Card.
- Rip McCord was in bad shape after the match and needed to be helped to the backstage.
2. Leilani Kai beat Beverly Shade at 6:20 with a Running Splash.
- This was an excellent match put on by the two great women.
- Leilani Kai will be facing Sherri Martel on the next card!
3. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express beat The Killer Bees by disqualification at 1:51.
- The Killer Bees got too carried away outside on the floor.
- The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express will be battling The Long Riders on Super Card # 15.
4. Johnny Saint beat Tiger Conway Jr at 1:10 with a Three in One.
- Tiger Conway Jr was upset about the loss.
- Johnny Saint and Tiger Conway Jr shook hands after the bout.
5. Baron Von Raschke beat Don Muraco with two Brain Claws at 0:47!
- Don Muraco was in rough shape after the match but was able to walk out the of the ring unassisted.
- Baron Von Raschke was so hated that a fan hit the ring and he kicked them in the face and tossed them out of the ring.
6. Danny Hodge beat Tommy Gilbert at 2:07 by count out to retain the MLW Junior Heavyweight championship.
- The two had a good match with some big moves.
- After fighting on the floor Tommy Gilbert could not make the ten count.
7. Abdullah the Butcher beat Bobo Brazil at 3:33 with a Sundanese Meat Cleaver.
- Abdullah the Butcher was a bloody mess by the end of the bout.
- The fans pelted the ring with garbage as Bobo Brazil got to his feet.
- Bobo Brazil had to be held back by officials as Abdullah was holding a chair.

Hodge is gonna be tough to beat for that Junior Heavyweight belt... And I'd be really interested to see how a program between Brazil and the Butcher plays out... Fun times!

Yeah Hodge is one tough customer. As for Brazil and Butcher - I am just planning to use Butcher as a one off wrestler - not regularly wrestling every week.
