I voted for Konnan, but I'm good with Riggs. I probably would have voted for Bagwell or Cousin Luke next.

The American Males always reminded me of Strike Force. I like those white meat baby face tag teams. They’d be fun to run against teams like the Dream Team, the Powers of Pain, the Long Riders and the Quebecers. Bunch of teams actually.

Actually, I'm hoping the artwork for Riggs is pre-American Males... That way, he can be teamed up with anyone and there won't be a disconnect in the artwork... Eyepatch Riggs would be pretty cool as I'm a huge fan of the Flock... Just not sure how it would look next to the current version of Bagwell.
When all is said and done, I'm stoked we're getting him in the game... A welcome surprise.

Eyepatch Riggs would be pretty cool as I'm a huge fan of the Flock... Just not sure how it would look next to the current version of Bagwell. I'll preface this by saying I fully expect American Males era Riggs. But having said that, if we're talking artwork Flock era Riggs next to babyface Bagwell wouldn't look any weirder than Biker Adrian with Cowboy Bob does, or 1994-era Scorpio teaming with WWF Vader, or Heavenly Bodies Tom Prichard next to 1996 ECW Chris Candido, or Heavenly Bodies Stan Lane with 1984 Mid South Bobby Eaton or Mr. Perfect with the Horsemen/top babyface combo Barry Windham. It's kinda like collecting wrestling figures after a certain point, the attires aren't gonna line up 100% of the time. Stat-wise, however...yeah that would be something of a problem if babyface Bagwell has a tag partner whose card leans more towards the heel side of things. I say we all meet in the middle and get Scotty Anton circa 2000 ECW so everyone can get The Clap. |
