Two men assumedly the current commentary crew face the camera front and center with their arms up and out in excitement. The announcer on the left begins speaking. "Squared Circle Productions presents Legacy Wrestling! My name is Jim Ross or JR for short, and this is Boyd Pierce. Last week, total turmoil erupted in the previously predominantly southern fed. Let's take a look at the history of the greatest wrestling federation." The two people step aside to allow the projected video to show.

A form of compilation video begins to show high impact moves and historic moments. The projection ends with a still image of the last former champion holding his belt into the air. Although this federation was only known to the southerners, everyone knows who that wrestler is. Dusty Rhodes... The camera starts to zoom out slowly. "Oh man this barbecue sauce is the best there is... oh sorry you startled me there!", the announcer palms the roving camera away while licking sauce off his finger in a gross manner. While gesturing towards the camera man Jim ross says "Sim Snuka play the new footage." "Yes sir", Snuka replies. The screen lights up once more to show the champion being viciously attacked from behind. A brutal chair shot rings out as Dusty falls to the floor. A second unidentified wrestler walks in as the first wrestler lifts Dusty's head up. The second unidentified wrestler is wearing some form of celebratory oversized gown. Every part of it is glistening from all of the sparkling materials embedded into it. He grabs the mic as if he is ready to give a lecture. "WOO!" The mic drops to the floor as dusty gets slapped once more. They grab the belt and run off. The wrestler in a normal looking outfit stops near the titantron and exclaims "this fed no longer belongs to the south, it belongs to us. Just like this belt no longer belongs to you it belongs to us. We have a lot more to introduce you to, and as for dusty Rhodes"... He stops and smirks. Two wrestlers slide out from under the ring and drag Dusty out of the ring. Marcus Killian the commissioner of Legacy wrestling stands in the entry way through the titantron. "Nuh uh uh, you must prove yourself". Marcus pulls up a piece of paper that has 14 other signatures on it, and hands it to the pair of wrestlers. The projected video stops.

The presented frame returns to JR announcing the matches. "This single elimination tournament will decide who the champion is, since the title has been... vacated. Match 1 we have Eddie Guerero v Jushin Liger?" JR looks to his partner confused. "I do not know any of these people" Boyd Pierce shrugs, looking bored from all of the recapping. Match 2 we have Tyler Black v Chris Jericho. Match 3 we have Daniel Bryan v Jake the snake" "Jake the Snake, theres one!" Boyd Pierce points out. JR returns to his script "Match 4 JYD v Ricky Steamboat, Match 5 Claudio Castagnoli v Macho Man." "Macho Man!?" They both gasp, I do not know who Claudio is but tough luck, Boyd remarks. "Terry Funk v Mr. T, Jay Lethal v Ric Flair, Dean Malenko v Arn Anderson". Any predictions fans? The broadcast ends.

Year #1 Tour #1 Show #1

For those of you who missed it here were the results from the first four matches from the first round of the tournament that will determine the North American Champion.
Terry Funk defeated Mr.T with his branding iron (***)
JYD defeated Ricky Steamboat with a falling headbutt (*1/2)
Macho Man defeated Claudio Castagnolli with a flying ax handle (**)
Eddie Guerrero defeated Jushin Liger with a frog splash (*)

Coming down the aisle weighing in at 236 lb, from Chicago Illinois Mr. T!

Mr. T sprints down the ramp and slides under the ropes to enter the ring. While waiting for his opponent to enter, Mr. T bounces back and forth between the ropes on either side of the ring.
JR - "Reminder that this matchup is the opening match of the tournament for the previously vacated title. There is quite a lot of drama surrounding this event, so lets dig in" Boyd Pierce - "I cant wait to see some new talent"
This exchange occurs while a wrestler who is now known as Terry Funk enters the squared circle.
The bell rings, which appears to set something off in Mr. T's mind. He immediately starts punching Terry Funk repeatedly. Mr. T follows up with a irish whip to the turnbuckle hard enough to make his opponent bounce off the buckle. The now discombobulated wrestler winces in pain while pressing his hand against his back. While doing this he slips down and rolls under the ropes to escape to the outside.
Boyd Pierce - "Must be trying to cool off, regain composure"
Funk stumbles toward the ring post and pulls some sort of branding rod out from underneath. Fans are roaring as Mr. T chases after him to finish the job. All of a sudden Terry's arms jerk forward and the once overly aggressive wrestler crumples to the floor.
JR - "Look how well hidden that was, you can tell this has been practiced and utilized time and time again. Classic strategy from Terry Funk. Now hes throwing Mr. T in the ring without even thinking about it, like its part of his routine too. This is sickening and sadistic" Terry Funk pins for the win. Mr. T slams his hands against the mat, frustrated. Boyd Pierce - "If the rest of the card is like this, we have a timeless event on our hands."

JR - "Up next we have a Legacy Wrestling southern native vs a allegedly reputable opponent."
Each clip presented shows a different contestant on offense. JR - As you can see some nonstop back and forth action, but unfortunately for Steamboat fans, JYD capitalized with a falling headbutt.

During the third match Claudio seemed almost frightened to have an opponent with such a reputation. Claudio started with an offensive onslaught just like Mr. T but ended up falling short, due to Macho Man playing the long game.

Boyd Pierce says while wearing Macho Man esque glasses - "Claudio didnt stand a chance, I dont even see why we wasted our time reporting that match."

JR disregards those statements as he awaits the last match. The two wrestlers are tearing into each other as JR explains their previous accomplishments throughout the world.

Main Event - Jushin Liger plays the crowd by executing fancy flips and high risk flying maneuvers off of the top turnbuckle. Guerrero seemed to notice he cannot out shine Ligers cruiserweight ability, so he stuck to the groundwork. After working on weakening Liger with several submission holds, Liger seems to finally slow down. Guerrero leans against the bottom left turnbuckle as his opponent uses the top right to get back up. A lariat was attempted from the Texas Native, but to no success as Liger elbows his stomach to stop the potential barrage. Seeing the opportunity Liger goes for a backwards flip off of the second turnbuckle. Nope! It is caught and turned into a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Guerrero finishes the match with a frog splash.

Great card lethalkid6! JYD was always a joy to watch.

Legacy wrestlings opening seems to be edited for this broadcasting. Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss controls the audio while several clips of Ric Flair performing various signature and rather merciless moments to his opponents. When the prerecorded video ends the camera is focused on the man himself.

Okerlund: Whoever wins this tournament becomes the brand new North American Champion. I have heard your name quite a lot recently, and quite frankly you are responsible for the vacated title. So at this time, I would like to ask what makes you allegedly so great, and why could you not just challenge for the belt?

Flair: Let me just say, from time and time again I have became known as the greatest at each fed I blessed with my presence. This federation is no different. When you walk around in this life and you tell everybody you're number one, the only way you get to stay number one, is to be number one. And I have heard this is the ONLY.. title.. in the wrestling world that makes you number one. After I claim what is mine, and prove this federation is nothing but low lifes, I will claim the world title... this is just the warm up Mean Gene... WOOOO!

Okerlund: Regardless of how this goes, history will be made here tonight.

Chris Jericho opened up with a uncontested win against Tyler Black(1/2*)

Daniel Bryan made Jake the Snake tap with Cattle Mutilation(*1/2)
Match Notes: Jake the Snake was to eager to use his dirty tactics. He tried several times to ddt Daniel Bryan onto the pavement, but Bryan stuck to his traditional wrestling style to escape each attempt. Many believe if Jake the Snake stuck to professional wrestling he could have won.

Dean Malenko won by disqualification against Arn Anderson. (DUD)
Match Notes: While Arn Anderson was at the entrance ramp to the ring, his accomplice Ric Flair was whispering into his ear. Once the bell rang Arn Anderson seemed to repeat that message to Dean Malenko. Malenko shook his head in disgust. Moments later, a whack from a chair echoed throughout the stadium. Anderson blatantly attacked Malenko. It is rather clear, he lost this match on purpose. After only one chair shot, Arn leaves the match.

*MAIN EVENT* Jay Lethal wins by disqualification against Ric Flair (**1/2)
The unforgettable theme Also Sprach Zarathustra played for the first contestant entering the ring. Except no one was walking down the ramp yet... After what felt like forever in this tension, an unmistakable "WOO!" rings out. Now a silhouette is standing up with his back to the crowd, arms up with the signature sparkling attire.

JR: Flair was always known for that braggadocio.. Good God almighty! That is not Flair!

The song switches to Black Machismo. Jay Lethal strolls to the ring. Once again, Also Sprach Zarathustra is played as the true Ric Flair does his entrance.
Match Notes: The bout opened with a backhand contest in the center of the ring. Lethal is mimicking everything perfectly, WOO! The chest of both wrestlers has already became burning hot red. Later on in the match Flair was down on his knees pleading for forgiveness. However, Lethal has studied these tactics, so he kicks him in the head, which makes Flairs back hit the mat. After this turn of events, Lethal imitates the showboatting stride. After each exchange Flair becomes more and more aggravated. He slaps the mat and hops back up, just to meet another clothesline. The copycat goes for the figure four, but gets cradled into a pin attempt. A kick of authority breaks the count at 2. As the New Jersey native backs into the turnbuckle, "the Greatest" stomps repeatedly into the abdomen of Lethal. The abdomen stomps turn into grinding his boot into the opponents face. The ref begins a count. Finally, at the count of 9 Flair lets off. Lethal springs right back up, even seems to be unaffected.
JR: These combatants are tougher than a two dollar steak!
The closing moments of the show end with Flair becoming too frustrated with these mental games. While on the floor he waves towards the entrance ramp. Arn Anderson immediately runs towards him, while holding a steel chair. Flair grabs it from him underneath the bottom rope. Lethal leans to bring Flair up to a standing position. Instead Jay is greeted with an upwards strike from the chair. The bell rings.
