The show opens with Jim Cornette with Vader and the Midnight Express in the ring bragging about how all his guys retained their championships at the Pay Per View. “I am the greatest manager in all of Wrestling, and the championships around these men’s waist prove it!”
Out comes Commissioner Teddy Long while Jim is gloating. “Vader might have lost at the Pay Per View, had you not interfered, Jim Cornette.” “Let’s see if he can keep the belt when you are banned from ringside tonight!!” “Vader WILL defend the Worlds Championship tonight in a rematch with Hacksaw Jim Duggan!”
Opening match:
The Pitbulls defeat Jake Milliman and Kenny Jay via pinfall at 4:53, after hitting their Super Bomb finisher, in their debut match for the N.W.A.
The Fantastics defeat the Mounties by count out after Bobby Fulton hit Jaques Rougeau with a splash from the top turnbuckle to the floor outside the ring at 8:29.
RVD defeats Bruiser Brody by DQ at 7:48 when Brody failed to listen to the referee’s warning to stop his attack.
Kevin Steen defeats James Storm via pinfall at 15:37 after hitting his Stunner finisher*
Number One Contenders Match for the N.W.A. Television Championship:
Magnum TA defeats “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase via pinfall after hitting his Belly to Belly Suplex finisher to become the Number One Contender for the N.W.A. Television Championship.
N.W.A. Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match:
Vader defeats “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan by pinfall at 20:54 after hitting his Release Vader Bomb finisher. After the match, Gordon Solie interviewed Vader. During the interview Vader stated that there’s no match in which Duggan can defeat him. “I’ve won twice in a row. Once without my manager. I know I can beat him again.” A battered Hacksaw comes back out, and accepts Vader’s challenge with one stipulation. “We’re going to fight in a STEEL CAGE!!”
