The Smiths d. The Windhams by pinfall
This match could have gone anyway. Both teams hit big powerful moves trying to finish the other team. The luck of the draw may have done in the Windhams as they only had one day rest. Smith Jr pins Mulligan after a variant of the Killer Bomb (+1)

Really enjoying this tournament. I have thought about doing a similar project at some point - maybe next year. I'll be cheering for the Smiths, but the Valentines are my pick to win it all.

The Hennigs d. The Dibiases pinfall
Somehow the Hennigs survive this match. Larry took a beating and seemed to have been injured but the Hennigs would not lay down and continued to fight through. Curt took over and lead his team to a hard fought win. The Dibiases just could not finish off their opponents. Curt pins Ted with a Hennig-plex

All the teams who have advanced to round 3 of the tournament are gathered for a meet and greet around the ring. Special guest Brian Pillman Jr goes around with a top hat so teams can pick a number to see who they will face in the third round. 2 sets of numbers 1-2 are put in a hat and the teams will face the team that picked matching number. The Armstrongs draw #1 The Dundees draw #2 The Hennigs draw #1 amd will face the Armstrongs The Smiths draw #2 amd will face the Dundees
Of course we have some kind of altercation which has become a theme for off days. Jerry Lawler walks out and says that Brian Pillman didn't deserve to be there and that it should have been Brian Christopher. Christopher walks out as Lawler says that and gets in Pillmans face. Lawler says he would've wiped the floor with his Brian Pillman Sr if he were there and Pillam Jr didn't take that kindly and pushed Lawler. Christopher responds with a slap to Pillman's face and the two men begin to brawl and it leads to the ring and we have ourselves a match...
Brian Christopher d. Brian Pillman Jr
Exciting match between these 2 high flyers. Lawler proves to be the difference. As Christopher distracts the official Lawler runs in and nails Pillman Jr with a piledriver that leads to the Hip Hop Drop for the win. Lawler and Christopher continue to beat up on Pilmman Jr, but are stopped by the Smiths and Armstrongs who both come out and chase the heels away after getting in some offense on them
