I haven't decided on what will go with that Jerry Brisco loss, but something will be chosen. (Dang bookers)
Sacrifice.....maybe, but what is Styles willing to give up to the mystery figure and who are the other players in the game? Well, we'll have to find out soon.

Keith Steinborn flustered Bill Dundee for a while but Bill finally got revenge with a top rope cross body for the pin.
Dan Severn beat Masked Superstar by disqualification when Jim Cornette tossed Superstar the racket and he smashed Severn in full view of referee Joey Marella.
Butcher and The Baron beat Funk and Roll when Baron pinned Scorpio with the Brain Claw.
Big Van Vader squashed Mark Henry with a front slam. After the match, Dan Severn tried to attack Big Van Vader only for Cornette's new bodyguard Ken Shamrock came to the rescue.
How long had it been Styles thought as the water continued to drip on his face. It might have been minutes, hours, maybe a couple of days. Finally, Styles blurted out what did this have to do with his rebirth. The hooded figure said that Styles must learn to endure torture so he could torture his opponents. The two faces before seemed fascinated by the happening. Styles grimaced and took to it. The figure was right. He had become too soft and had to toughen up.

I'm preparing to run my own angle between Shamrock and Vader, so it's kinda cool to see them being portrayed as allies in the Theater.
The Phenomenal Journey appears to be teaching AJ an ominous lesson... I think he will emerge a very different from the individual who began this process... Looking forward to the next chapter!

Some definite changes upcoming for Mr. Styles. The conclusion is planned for Friday.
Severn vs Shamrock will be a perpetual feud regardless of the sides and right now Ken has aligned himself with Vader and Cornette but I have a pair in mind to help Severn against them and Superstar.

Glamour Girls avoided an upset from Princess Victoria and Ida Mae Martinez when Kai pinned Martinez with her Running Splash. The faces took it to Judy Martin and when she managed to tag out to Leilani Kai as well but Martinez missed a charge into the corner and fell out of the ring. She managed to roll back in but Kai was waiting for her with the Running Splash and the three count.
Chaz Taylor came super close but Ken Shamrock survived him and forced a tap to the Ankle Lock. Taylor had four covers on Shamrock but couldn't quite keep him down. He tried a power move and Shamrock reversed and put him down before clamping on the Ankle Lock for the submission.
Molly Holly finished off Francine with a somersault neckbreaker. Francine put up a fight but Molly mostly dominated before finishing things.
The British Bulldogs destroyed The Heavenly Bodies with a double headbutt on Stan Lane. Prichard's only involvement in the match were pin saves none doing much other than hurting Lane. In the end, the Bulldogs pinned a bloody Lane. After the match, Jim Cornette said this was why he had dropped the Bodies. Eaton, Condrey and Lane then thrashed Lane and Prichard before dragging them off.
In a jungle, a blindfolded AJ Styles holding a kendo stick was being directed by the mysterious figure to smash various fruits. "That is your opponent's head. He is mocking you for being weak. Show him your strength." As Styles destroyed each fruit, the original masked figure would place it with another. The mysterious figure chortled in appreciation of Styles handiwork.

The Love Brothers bested The Texas Twisters when Reginald Love pinned Houston after the Atomic Drop. The Brothers took it to Casey but he managed to reverse finally. Houston got in a few good shots but missed a deathjump before Reginald finished him off a short time later.
Rockin Robin got a surprisingly easy win with a middle rope sunset flip on Melina. Melina got a couple shots, Robin reversed, hit a middle rope sunset flip for a 1 count went to the other side and hit another for the three count.
Rick Rude pinned Pepper Gomez after the Rude Awakening and a handful of trunks. Gomez hit a flying headscissors but as he landed, Rude managed to pop him with something before hitting the Rude Awakening and hooking some trunks to score the cheap win.
In a #1 contender match, Bob Backlund pinned Harley Race with the Atomic Drop in a great match. This went back and forth and in the end, Backlund got a reversal off the ropes, hit the Rolling Backbridge and when Race kicked out, waited and picked him up in the Atomic Drop for the pin.
AJ Styles was in a makeshift ring. The mystery figure and the hooded character stood outside while many unknown men kept coming into the ring. Styles quickly took each down. The mystery figure shouted encouragement as the two faces appeared on the opposite side and watched. "Your enemies can not stop you." "You are Phenomenal." Styles acknowledged the words as he too each opponent down.

All caught up on the Phenomenal Journey, loving this. It evokes things like Hogan going to the Dungeon of Doom, The White Castle of Fear, and Jake the Snake training Ultimate Warrior. In a good way!
