Who knew all that 90s stuff would stick in one's mind subconsciously all these years later.

Looks like the Phenomenal Journey is nearing its destination... Where will this take AJ from a career standpoint? Hmmmmm... 🤔

Tag Team Experts (Tony Garea/Marty Jannetty) bested Texas Hangmen with the Rocker Dropper on Killer.
Eric the Red clobbered Ranger Ross with repeated knee smashes.
Nick Bockwinkel edged Tommy Rich in a great match with the Figure Four Leglock.
Ladies Champion Mildred Burke avoided an upset by Toni Rose with the Alligator Clutch. (Rose actually put 4 tokens on Burke but a second Alligator Clutch was too much)
AJ Styles kneeled before the mystery figure. "You are phenomenal, my son. I present you gifts for your battles." The figure handed Styles a golden spike. "Also a warrior to help in your battles." The hooded person revealed himself to be Hugh Morrus. "Now, it is time for you to return. No one is to stand in your way." Styles nodded as he gripped the spike.
Changes to Styles Ropes and Ring both A On a deathjump replace any roll of 10-12 with PHENOMENAL FOREARM (+1) On a roll of STYLES CLASH, roll 1 die. On a roll of 6, replace with GOLDEN SPIKE (+3) dis 5

The Phenomenal Journey arrives at a very dark and sinister destination... I've always thought it would be kinda fun to create a card for AJ by combining the best of both versions... You've done something even more intriguing... Can't wait to watch Golden Spike Styles in action!

I knew at the start I wanted to incorporate the Phenomenal Forearm.
Once I picked the mystery master, the rest fell into place.

AJ Styles (with Hugh Morrus) thumped George South with the Pele Kick.
Hugh Morrus (with AJ Styles) thrashed Jake Milliman with No Laughing Matter.
Hillbilly Jim forced Keith Steinborn with the Bear Hug.
Snack Time gave a good showing but World Tag Team Champions The British Bulldogs finished off Frogman with Tower of London.

AJ Styles destroyed Tom Rocky Stone before finishing him with the Phenomenal Forearm. Despite Stone getting lucky twice off the ropes with a piledriver, the finish was never in doubt though Styles picked up Stone twice before climbing to the top and hitting his deadly forearm for the pin.
Tiger Conway Sr. avoided a tough challenge in Big Bully Busick to win with the Let's Twist and Headbutt. Busick survived three Quadruple Headbutts and nearly won with a slingshot atomic drop but a Let's Twist and Headbutt was too much in the end.
Ida Mae Martinez beat Beverly Shade via disqualification when Moolah ordered Shade to smash Martinez with a chair. No one knows why Moolah wanted Shade to do this when she was in control of the match but Shade did as told and the referee called for the bell.
Bandido devastated Mikey Whipwreck with the 21 Plex to retain the Cruiserweight Title. After the match, Bandido grabbed the belt and looked like he was going to plaster Whipwreck when suddenly Bryan Danielson appeared and locked in the Crossface Chicken Wing on Bandido.

Enjoying the slow build with Golden Spike AJ and can't wait to see where it goes.
Bandido vs. Danielson has explosive potential. BOOM!

One more straight up job guy for Styles before he starts ramping up the competition.
I figured Bandido vs Danielson might be fun. Toyed with a couple other names but decided that worked best.
